When I woke up, I became an imprisoned villainess

-For some reason, my body feels fluffy.

Being strangely comfortable, with the unfamiliar feeling, I open my eyes blankly and see a ceiling I don’t recognize.

“…? Where is this…”

I should have been sleeping on the cold floor with a blanket wrapped around me until just now, but I find myself waking up on a very warm bed, as soft as a dream.

“Are you awake?”

While I am confused, suddenly, a deep, sharp voice ring out. Surprised that someone else is here, I look for the source of the voice and there appears a knight with frighteningly beautiful facial features.

Lustrous black hair. Double-slit eyes with radiant azure blue pupils.

His frowning eyebrows are dignified and the bridge of his nose is straight.

He looks like the knight out of the picture book I used to read to the point of wearing out. I can’t help but get my breath taken away by his beauty which makes me wonder if he escaped from a fairy tale.

But… it seems the knight is aware of the rumors about me being called “Shameless Alcott”.

The way he is looking at me is like he is looking at something unpleasant, like looking at mold on a piece of spoiled bread.

“Excuse me.. just what kind of situation is this…?”

After I asked, slightly feeling scared, his blue eyes turned even more harsh. “After all this..,” he says with a sigh as he glares sharply at me.

“Violet Elford, the daughter of Duke Elford. Your sins are completely unacceptable and His Majesty has finally given up on you. What a foolish thing to do to His Highness’s fiancee,”

“Violet, Elford..? His Highness?”

“… As you probably already know, I am not the kind of person who would be deceived by your cheap acting.”

Mister Knight looks at me with disdain as he talks.

I think he got the wrong person but that aside I can’t digest the current situation.

Even me who have never stepped out of the mansion know about Violet Elford, the duke daughter.

More beautiful than anyone else, isn’t she the villainess lady rumored to be rotten to the core, more than me with the rumors of being a shameless daughter of Earl Alcott?

“As your number one fiance candidate for many years, I have seen your evil deeds with my own eyes. —-Therefore, His Highness, the crown prince, has personally ordered me to surveil you, knowing that I will never sympathize with you.”

“Fiance candidate? Surveil?”

To mistake his fiancee who is reputed to be a gorgeous wicked lady with me, an ugly hikikomori, his eyes must be very bad. While thinking I should make him some eye drops, I hurriedly denies his words.

“Ah, um.. you are mistaken. I am just a hikikomori and not your fiancee-”

“….. you would go this low huh”

The knight frowns in discomfort, then takes a deep breath and glances at me.

“No matter how good you are at magic, this tower was sealed by the grand duke himself. Don’t even think about escaping.”

After saying that, the knight left the room; I hear the sound of the lock slamming shut.

“What should I do…”

It seems like there is a huge misunderstanding. I have no idea what is what anymore.

Feeling troubled, I reached out to touch my cheek and felt something strange about it, so I couldn’t help but look down at the palm of my hand.

Pretty hands that have never touched labor. Nails that have grown long unknowingly, dyed bright red and adorned with sparkling jewels.

I look at my body.

I am wearing a dazzling red dress that I have never seen before. Through the flashy dress which is not my half sister’s taste, one can see the stylish sense that cannot be hidden.

Sadly, it is definitely not my body and I am speechless.

As I looked around the room, I saw a built-in dressing table. When I rush over and look into the mirror, there is a beautiful woman who I didn’t know at all.

She has pale hair and beautiful purple eyes that look like jewels. The bewitching beauty which reminds me of a kitten is… really not me.

“What is this… …?”

I tilted my head in confusion. Maybe I am still dreaming?

When I tried to pinch my cheek, my long nails dug into it. It hurt. If it hurt, then this is…

“Not a dream…?”

The bewitching beauty in the mirror lowered her eyebrows at a loss as I was in disbelief.
