I Became The Tower Master-Chapter 2 - : The Revelation
Chapter 2: Chapter 2: The Revelation
Alden blinked as the otherworldly chamber faded, and the familiar sights and sounds of the lecture hall returned. For a moment, he wondered if he had imagined the entire experience. The professor's droning voice continued unabated, and the students around him seemed as oblivious as ever.
Did that really happen? Alden thought, his mind racing. Was I actually chosen as the Tower Master, or was it just a vivid daydream?
He shook his head, trying to focus on the lecture, but his thoughts kept drifting back to the strange chamber and the surge of power he had felt. Suddenly, a commotion broke out in the classroom as several students rushed to the windows, pointing and whispering excitedly.
Curious, Alden got up and joined them. His heart skipped a beat when he saw the colossal tower that had materialized in the distance, its peak piercing the clouds. The tower from his vision was now a reality, standing tall and imposing over the city.
It's real... Alden realized, a mix of awe and trepidation washing over him. Everything that happened must be real.
He needed to confirm it. Focusing his thoughts, Alden called out in his mind, Status window.
To his amazement, a translucent panel appeared before his eyes, filled with information about his new abilities and responsibilities as the Tower Master. The status window displayed:

He quickly glanced around, ensuring no one had noticed his unusual behavior, and acted as nonchalant as possible. As he turned to leave, he bumped into his friend, Mark, who was also heading out.
"Hey Alden, did you see that tower?" Mark asked, his eyes wide with curiosity. "What do you think it is?"
Alden forced a casual smile. "Yeah, it's hard to miss. I have no idea, but it sure is something," he replied, hoping to hide his inner turmoil.
"Well, whatever it is, it looks like classes are canceled for the day," Mark said, glancing around at the other students leaving the lecture hall. "Want to grab a coffee and chat about it?"
"Maybe another time," Alden said, trying to sound upbeat. "I've got some things to take care of at home."
"Alright, catch you later," Mark said with a wave before heading off in the opposite direction.
With a mix of relief and excitement, Alden gathered his things and hurried back to his apartment, eager to explore more of the system and understand his new role.
As soon as he closed the door behind him, Alden summoned the status window again. The translucent panel reappeared, displaying various options and functions. This time, he focused on the "Anchor Worlds" authority and selected it.
A new tab opened, providing a detailed description of the skill:
Anchor Worlds (Level 1)

Eager to learn more, Alden tried to click on the "Create Trials" authority. However, a notification appeared:
Create Trials (Locked)
Unlock Condition: Reach Level 5 on Anchor Worlds authority.
So, I need to level up Anchor Worlds to unlock Create Trials, Alden thought, taking in the information.
After spending hours exploring the system and familiarizing himself with its features, Alden decided to take a break. He went to take a shower, letting the warm water soothe his mind. After drying off, he sat on the couch and turned on the TV, hoping to catch up on the news and relax a bit.
As the screen flickered to life, his eyes widened in shock. "What the—?" he gasped, his heart pounding. The news was reporting monster breakouts happening everywhere, emerging from rifts in space. Footage showed chaos in the streets, with people fleeing and authorities struggling to contain the creatures.
This can't be real... Alden thought, feeling a mix of dread and disbelief. But the evidence was irrefutable. This must be connected to the tower...
His mind raced, trying to process the gravity of the situation. Is this because I anchored Earth? Did I cause this?
As if to answer his questioning, a notification appeared before his eyes:
[This is a necessary procedure for the anchored world to evolve and awaken the mana in the core of Earth.]
Great, just what I needed, Alden thought, frustration simmering beneath his calm exterior.
Instead of panicking, Alden's mind shifted gears. If the world is going to evolve, then let nature take its course.
