I Can Capture Attacks-Chapter 17 - : Four Steps Of Disaster
Chapter 17: Chapter 17: Four Steps Of Disaster
After he fainted, Zixin dragged the old man into his cultivation mountain and threw him at a random corner. The elders and Core disciples decided to leave since there was nothing to stay around for. The Core disciples were wondering about Zixin's identity and his capabilities.
'I need to have Combat Technique and a Movement Technique suited for Body Cultivation, maybe the Techniques Hall has something I can use.' thought Zixin and left his mountain.
...
While Zixin went to the Techniques to look for techniques, the news of him defeating an Elder and two Core disciples exploded in the sect, everyone was talking about it with great fervour, some even exaggerating their stories on what actually happened.
"Senior Brother Bao, have you heard the news?!"
"What news?"
"News about Senior Brother Xong Zixin, apparently, he defeated two Core disciples and even defeated Elder Shui, as for the means he used to achieve such a feat, nobody knows."
"What?! Defeated Elder Shui, that's really big news? I always knew that Jun... Senior Brother Zixin had potential and it seems I was right. Fortunately, me and him are friends."
"Senior Brother Bao, you're amazing as always, thinking five steps ahead every time. Anyway, I'm going to inform the others."
"Okay, go, there's something I also want to do." said Bao and watched the disciple leave.
'Zixin, what secrets are you hiding? I best start investigating.' he thought.

...
"Master, master, Senior Brother Zixin just defeated two Core disciples and Elder Shui!" shouted Di after using the teleportation array.
"Impossible! Elder Shui is a Soul Transformation Realm expert, how could he be defeated by a Body Cultivator?!" exclaimed the woman with a veil on her face. Guo was also startled by this news. He knew that Zixin was a powerful body cultivator but he wasn't at a level of defeating an Elder.
"How did he do it?" asked Guo.
"It's unknown what method he used but it's said that he only grabbed the shoulders of the two disciples and their flesh and skin burned, leaving only the bones."
"And their Souls?"
"It's speculated that their Souls were also burned to death, nothing concrete yet."
"I see, keep gathering information about Zixin, I want to know everything that he does, every move he makes!"
"Yes, master!"
'Zixin, you've hidden yourself too deep. Never did I expect that your strength has reached such a level!'
...
When Zixin reached the Techniques Hall, it was empty and was happy inside because it meant no one would annoy him. Zixin didn't waste time and looked for the techniques he came for. The shelves had labels on them to make it easier for disciples to choose techniques without wasting time. The shelves were divided into four categories, Battle Techniques, Movement Technique, Escape Techniques and Cultivation Techniques.
The Body Cultivators had a small section where techniques were placed in an orderly manner. Every book and scroll in the Techniques Hall was encased in Qi Barriers, the price and a small description about the technique was written on a small board. To retrieve the technique, one simply needed to place their token against the Qi Barrier, it would collect the needed points and then the encasing would disappear.
Zixin went to the Body Cultivator Section, although it was small, it had more than a thousand books and scrolls on the dozens of shelves. Zixin first looked for a Movement Technique and all the books were enticing to him.
The Movement Techniques were mostly animalistic, copying movements of birds like the eagles, cranes, swans, herons and storks. Wild goats, cheetahs, gazelle, rabbits were also copied and a variety of other beasts.
The Wild Goat and the Swan Movement Techniques were the most attractive to Zixin, the Wild Goat technique allowed one to climb up mountains with relative ease and completely disregard the gravitational force while the Swan Movement Technique allowed one to walk on water.
Zixin didn't immediately choose a Movement Technique and continued to look. Hours passed and Zixin finally came across what he was looking for, a Movement technique called the Four Steps Of Disaster.
This Movement Technique allowed one to be a walking natural disaster after the technique was mastered. One could unleash the four types of Earthquakes; Explosion, Collapse, Volcanic and Tectonic.
In fact, this technique needed someone who cultivated both Qi and Body in order to unleash its full potential. Zixin though didn't care about that and chose it, after that, he went to look for a Battle Technique and just like the Movement Techniques, there were also a lot of Battle Techniques.
After looking through many Battle Techniques, Zixin chose the Hard Soft Fist Technique, not that it was the strongest but because only it could deal with Qi Barriers with minimum effort. After choosing his techniques, Zixin paid and left the Techniques Hall.
...
Zixin returned to his cultivation mountain and Elder Shui was still unconscious so he continued to ignore him and entered training space within the mountain and started reading the Four Steps Of Disaster, starting off with the Explosion Earthquake.
The Explosion Earthquake didn't have a lot of requirements, only a strong body and the accumulation of immense force. The first step was accumulating force into one's legs and releasing it on the ground by stomping hard on the ground, simple right.
This explanation completely stumped Zixin because he didn't know how to accumulated force or how to release it. Not wanting to waste time, he changed his mind and decided to practice the Hard Soft Fist Technique but it was also complicated. To practice this technique, one first had to understand Intent, Zixin didn't know what Intent was.
While deep in thoughts, the old man finally woke up, Zixin left the training space to meet him.
'Where am I..? Why do I have such a splitting headache?' thought Elder Shui.
"You're finally awake." a voice sounds in Elder Shui's ears, causing him to look to the side, where the voice came from. Seeing Zixin, Elder Shui seemed to remember the horror that he brought him.
[Stay back! Stay back! Stay back!]
"Old man, what an attitude you have. Is this how a slave greets his Master?!"
