I can expand my MAGIC ENDLESSLY?!-Chapter 15: Not enough!
Time started to pass by, like clouds up within the sky flowing to their destined flow.
And just like that, four years passed by.
[803th year of Eclipsis, 8th Marech]
Ronan Skylark sat comfortably in the carriage, his broad frame nearly filling the space as he gazed out.
The leaves overhead swayed gently with the breeze, casting shadows that danced along the path. With a chuckle, he leaned back.
The Frontline was cleared, and finally he could relax after such a long time.
"Three years," Ronan mused aloud, his tone light and filled with amusement. "Finally some peace."
Leia leaned against the window, eyes drifting over the passing trees.
Her white hair, now longer and flowing more freely than in her youth, shimmered as it caught the sunlight filtering through the trees.
The blue of her eyes matched the sky above, but at that moment, they were distant, reflecting her wandering thoughts. Before an image of a boy with long red hair standing in front of her like a shield appeared, blocking the view of a scary old man.
"Mm," Leia replied.
"Three years..." she uttered, "I wonder how he’s doing now."
Ronan glanced at her and grinned, seeing through her calm exterior. "Thinking about Kairos, are we?"
Leia scoffed, her eyes narrowing slightly as she turned to look at her grandfather. "As if," she muttered with an annoying tone.
Ronan burst into hearty laughter, his deep voice filling the carriage. "Come on now, Leia. You’re both older now, a bit more mature, no?"
Leia raised an eyebrow. "I doubt it," she said dryly. Yet he lingered in her thoughts, despite all the others she had met.
But no matter what, those red eyes are the only ones she saw shimmering; then the rest were engraved in her mind.
In the past three years. She was trained in the way of a sword. Also finishing her zeroth circle and one third done on the first circle, a feat that’s enough to be called genius in the family.
During this year’s. She saw the filth that enclosed the luxury-looking capital of the Velmor kingdom. And soon he will be admitted at the Academy of Owsdin.
The Academy was established by the founder of magic, Owdin himself. One known in the history of the world. The founding lord of magic! Owsdin!
She was no longer the trembling girl she once was, ready for whatever came next. Yet her thoughts drifted to him, wondering what he would look like today.
Would that unyielding gaze from their duel still be in his eyes?. She knows but one thing for sure. As she became stronger, so did he.
At the same time. Baron Valeria Nozvan states, [Underground training facility]
Woosh! Woosh! Clank!
The sound of arrows cutting through the air echoed sharply in the underground chamber, followed by the distinct clash of metal against metal.
A man stood in the center of the room, his movements fluid and deliberate. His crimson hair, now cropped short, moved with the sharp turns of his head.
Sweat rolled down his forehead, tracing a thin line to the scar at the edge of his left eyebrow. Just as a bead of sweat reached the edge of that scar, he twisted his body, the massive two-handed sword in his grip swinging up to deflect another arrow, slicing it apart in two.
Clank!
His breath remained steady, his chest rising and falling each time he breathed. Though the training of such intensity would make the majority be at their limits. He still stood up after a moment before swinging the sword once again.
His toned muscles were flexing under the flickering lights.
[Kairos Nozvan, the 2nd son of Barron Valeria, age 17]
His eyes, narrowed in focus, followed the trajectory of each arrow, adjusting his footwork as he predicted the next path. The arrows weren’t fast yet, designed more for endurance than speed at this stage.
Kairos stood up, stretching his body and gulping down a bottle of white liquid. An energy bottle, the invention of the Elves. Through Elven Alchemy.
"Warm-up is done," he muttered under his breath, setting the empty bottle aside. His grip tightened on the hilt of his two-handed sword, and a sharp glint appeared in his eyes as he took his stance again. "Now, the real training begins."
As he steadied his breathing, he closed his eyes, focusing inward. Deep within his core, he could feel pulsing energy waiting to be released.
The power, the strength,He had trained relentlessly for the last two years, mastering his body and honing his mind. 𝒻𝘳𝘦𝘦𝘸ℯ𝒷𝘯𝘰𝑣ℯ𝑙.𝘤𝑜𝘮
With a single, controlled breath, a faint red glow began to emanate from his body. The energy pulsed around him, gathering strength as it spread from his core, flowing through his veins like molten lava. His muscles tensed up, and the dust particles beneath him seemed to vibrate ever so slightly.
It flickered and danced, resembling flames that wrapped around his arms and shoulders, flowing outward and encircling the massive sword in his hands.
[Aura, First Star]
"full barrage,"
Instantly as the words escaped from his mouth. Dozens of mechanisms clicked in place, and arrows exploded from all sides, heading towards him.
Unlike before, these arrows wouldn’t be simple, blunt training bolts. They were designed to move faster, hit harder, and test not only his reflexes but also his endurance.
Woosh!
The first arrow came flying toward him, its speed almost double that of the ones before. His aura flared, and with a single motion, he swung his sword, the red glow trailing behind the blade as it cut through the air.
The arrow shattered on impact, splintering into pieces. More arrows followed, each faster and more precise than the last.
Woosh! Woosh! Clank!
Kairos’ movements became a blur of strikes, despite the size of the sword.
Anyone witnessing this would be stunned by a 17-year-old boy wielding a massive two-handed sword with such precision and this fast, considering even wielding a normal sword like this requires immense strength and control.
At the back of the training ground, unknown to Kairos, there was a Spector’s room. And someone was watching silently with an serious gaze.
