"I was wondering which fool would dare whistle in the middle of all this? but That’s It? An Ascended calling for help in the middle of a fight... how utterly pathetic. At this point, you’re more pirate than an Ascended. What a shame... I was hoping for a real challenge, but it seems I’ve found nothing more than a coward." the Mercenary Queen sighed and she shook her head.

Hearing her casual tone as she mocked his call for help, the Pirate King’s facial muscles started tightening with barely contained fury. Yet, he refused to let her bait him.

With a forced, mocking laugh, he threw back his head. "HAHA! Act as mighty as you want bitch, But you’re just delaying the inevitable. That Duke’s as good as dead."

"Who cares if he lives or dies? I never took a contract to protect him. But I am sure he will not die. That guy is like a big fat sheep whose furs are made of gold and it seems you are still underestimating the power of gold. Truly Foolish!

Leaving him aside,

I don’t sense anybody strong in your crew. Seems like I’ve wasted one of my best just to deal with this pathetic lot."

The Pirate King could no longer restrain himself. With a furious roar, he charged toward the Mercenary Queen. The prongs of his trident were inside the sea and he swung it upward, in one explosive motion.

Sea God Style: Ripping Wave

In an instant, three massive, high-pressure water blades shot up from the sea, rising with the trident.

They were as colossal as the tsunami from before, cutting through the air with a ferocity that could tear anything in their path.

The blades surged toward the Mercenary Queen to tear her apart.

The Mercenary Queen’s eyes gleamed as she locked onto the massive water blades charging toward her. "YES!" she shouted, her voice rising above the roar of the crashing waves. "THIS IS IT! THIS IS WHAT I WANTED!"

Her hands tightened around the hilt of her weapon, and her stance grew even more resolute. "GIVE YOUR ALL!" she bellowed, embracing the oncoming storm with every ounce of her being.

Meanwhile, outside the cube, on the Duke’s ship, the man who had accompanied the Mercenary Queen stirred from his sleep. Slowly, he rose, stretching his arms high above his head.

His gaze drifted toward the massive cube in the distance, where the fierce clash between the Pirate King and the Mercenary Queen unfolded.

A quiet smirk tugged at the corner of his lips as he observed the chaotic battle. "The Queen seems to be enjoying herself," he mused, his voice low but filled with dark amusement. "That guy won’t die a peaceful death".

BOOM!

BOOM!

In an instant, the sky was torn apart by the deafening sound of cannon fire.

The Pirate King’s fleet unleashed hell. Every ship in the armada fired in perfect synchrony at a single command of birdie.

Hundreds of cannonballs, like a storm of steel, rocketed toward the Duke’s ship.

The man, still standing on the deck, couldn’t help but break into a wild, crazed smile as he watched the barrage of cannonballs closing in. "It’s my turn to shin-"

BOOM!

A deafening crack of thunder erupted from the rear of the Duke’s ship. In an instant, a blinding streak of lightning shot forth.

It spiraled around the ship, faster than the eye could follow, its lightning tendrils weaving through the air in two perfect loops.

Time seemed to freeze for a moment. Both the man and the knight commander stood, eyes wide in disbelief.

Every single cannonball that had been hurtling toward the Duke’s ship was sliced cleanly in half.

What truly stunned them was not the speed, but the sheer precision of the strike. Each cannonball had been sliced so perfectly that not a single one ignited.

The force of the strike was so surgical, so flawless, that the cannonballs, once filled with deadly intent, were now rendered harmless, their momentum shattered.

The deadly projectiles hung motionless in the air for a split second, before they began to plummet, like broken birds falling back to the sea.

Their eyes moved instinctively, and there, suspended in mid-air, stood Cassius. He was standing atop a final cannonball, he had sliced. Electric currents swirled around his entire body.

CLINK!

In that heartbeat, the electric energy around Cassius surged wildly, the current ripping through the air like an unleashed beast. The falling cannonballs nearby detonated in violent flashes, their gunpowder igniting in a series of explosive bursts.

Even the cannonballs beneath his feet exploded in the blink of an eye.

But just as quickly as the chaos had erupted, Cassius had vanished, disappearing in a flash of lightning, leaving only the remnants of destruction in his wake.

BOOM!

BOOM!

The cannonballs detonated in mid-air, their explosions distant to the Duke’s ship. The bright flashes lit up the sky, followed by the deafening roar of the blasts and the thick plumes of smoke that lingered in the air.

The Head Butler raised his hand toward the thick smoke, his fingers curling with a fluid motion he waved it to the side. In the blink of an eye, the entire smokescreen dissipated, as if it were never there.

THUD!

THUD!

THUD!

As the smoke vanished, a steady, rhythmic sound began to echo through the air—sharp, deliberate, like the sound of a heavy ball falling, one after another. The thuds grew louder, the pace quickening.

Then, emerging from the haze of the battlefield, Cassius appeared—standing atop the flag of the last Pirate ship, far from the Duke’s vessel. His silhouette was stark against the setting sun, electric currents still crackling around him.

The scene was nightmarish. Severed heads of pirates cascaded to the ground, accompanied by a crimson geyser from their decapitated bodies.

The air was thick with the metallic scent of blood, mingled with the salty tang of the sea.

Cassius had already decapitated every single pirate standing on the decks of the ships before him.

The scale of his massacre was astonishing. More than a quarter of the pirate fleet, totaling fifteen ships, had been wiped out in an instant.

Blood poured from the headless bodies, forming crimson rivers that snaked across the planks and dripped into the sea below.
