I Found a Door to the Elven Realm-Chapter 45: [Legendary Skill - Clone] | Author’s Note
[Congratulations! You have reached Level 25]
[All stats are +1]
[You acquired 1 Stat Point to use]
Eren lowered his bow and took a proper breath. He was somewhat relieved of levelling up to 25. He was expecting to have something like the cubs. But system was quiet this time.
After seeing Emily closer, he smiled. "That skill almost made me wet my pants."
She was genuinely curious. "The floor move or the thing it did to your legs?"
"Both. Mostly the leg thing." He walked over to the dead shaman.
The stone floor was ordinary-looking now, matte grey, no shimmer or cracks like before. "I didn’t know goblins could do that."
"Neither did I." Emily crouched near the shaman and examined the carved markings on its arm. "These are floor markings, not random. Someone taught it this."
Eren looked at the fractured ridge across the center. "The dungeon?"
"Maybe." She stood up. "Or something that was here before us. Goblins sometimes can be very useful for weird jobs."
She wasn’t sure and didn’t want to follow that thought further. Eren let it go after seeing her hands on his belly.
Emily finished her hunter mindset and started to act playful with him. That was the signal of going back home.
The female wolf glanced back at where the summoned goblins had fallen. [They didn’t smell real. Like copies of something real.] She sat down, thinking. [I don’t know how to explain it better than that]
"You explained it fine," Eren said.
The male wolf nosed at the shaman’s staff and stepped back. [That stone still has something in it.
Eren picked up the staff by the far end, keeping his hand away from the stone. "We’re not touching that tonight."
The reward chest was nothing like the one on Floor 1. This one was larger, black-stained wood with iron corner fittings gone rusty at the edges. No lock. The lid came up heavy and stayed open on its own.
Inside was a cloth-wrapped object and a mana stone the size of Eren’s closed fist and a small
He picked up the mana stone and set it aside without comment. Another one for the Door Master. Another step toward Earth. They’d talk about it when they weren’t standing in a goblin boss room at whatever hour this was.
The wrapped object was a necklace. Simple chain, dark metal and a single pendant a deep amber-red stone, roughly tear-shaped, small enough to sit flat against the chest. Warm to the touch. Not warm like it had been sitting in a chest for a while. Warm like something inside it was still running.
[Congratulations! Ember Necklace (Rare)]
[Active Ability: Minor Fireball Projects a concentrated fire bolt. Mana cost: 15]
[Bonus: +5 Mana]
Eren read it twice. Then he put it on.
"RARE ITEM BABYYY...!!"
Emily watched without stopping him, which meant she’d already decided he should have it. The moment the chain settled against his neck, he felt the +5 mana.
"Fifty mana with this," he said.
"And a fireball." Emily looked at the pendant with something close to actual envy, which was rare on her. "A really cool one."
"A weak one."
"Still." She turned away while shaking her head. Eren’s smily face was too silly. "Don’t use it indoors."
"Yes mam.." He pocketed the extra big mana stone and followed her for the exit portal.
They came out of Verdant Hollow Dungeon two hours before midnight. The forest was completely silent, same as it had been since the dragon. The wolves peeled off into the dark without ceremony, already gone before Eren could say anything.
But he heard something about how good the meat was or something.
Emily walked beside him on the way back. She was tired he could tell by the way she moved. But he was worse so Emily almost carried them both to the home. At heir pace it took twenty minutes to finally open the door.
Inside the house Eren sat on the edge of the bed and took his boots off. Emily went to the bathroom to get rid of filth and blood but came back fast.
"You’re almost asleep mister!" she said.
"I’m not swaying. Ready for a full night of punishment. I swear!" But the second he spoke, his stomach rumbled.
"When did you last eat something that wasn’t bread from Lyra?"
He thought about it. "The same thing we ate together at Selena’s place. Before the dungeon. And what about that shy girl again? Are you really jealous."
Emily almost yelled at his innocence. "That poor and innocent looking girl wanted to be your concubine tonight! You shouldn’t judge everyone with how they look Eren! Except me and two kids, all village is old and experienced people. They are the last survivors of a big elven lineage and can be very sly if they try."
"Sorry. I will be more careful." Eren didn’t know what to say.
She was already moving toward the kitchen. "Sit there."
He sat there with his legs crossing all the way to the table.
Things werw going good, he was almost ready to go Earth and face everything. And he was having a kid with an Elven Beauty.
Life was too good!
Eren saw the new fireball necklace’s on his chest easily sticking out from his hunting shirt with holes giant holes. Elven style cloths were full of weird antics. Even his hunting gear or cloths left from Emily’s step dad had the same style.
If Elves could figure it out, they probably would live naked.
After a few minutes he suddenly realized it was seventeen days.
The fact that twenty days ago he’d been standing shy and confused in an elf village and now he was clearing the second floor of a dungeon with his pregnant hunter wife and two wolf beasts.
Twenty days.
He heard Emily say something from the kitchen. Probably something about the food and he would like to respond if it was possible.
He was asleep before he realized it.
He was having a deep dream and this one was different. For starters, he knew he was asleep and that was the first clue you were inside a horror movie or some other trouble.
A screen suddenly showed up. System screens shouldn’t have come during sleep. He’d never seen one here like this. But he remembered what the beasts said about evolution or class upgrades for the monsters.
This system page had no border, color at the edges and just texts appearing out of darkness. If he had to be honest, Eren was afraid of this situation.
[System Scan Process Initiating for the Life Form. Please do not attempt to wake]
He almost laughed. He couldn’t move, damn it.

Something happened that had no name in any language he’d learned in seventeen days or twenty-five years before that.
It wasn’t pain or exactly anything physical, more like standing in a room and discovering the room is bigger than you thought. Maybe the walls you assumed were close were actually much further away. And the space or freedom have always been there, just you couldn’t feel or use it.
His soul and inner something- expanded. He felt it happen in real time, a slow outward pressure that went and went and kept going until it stopped at a number Eren couldn’t calculate while asleep.
The stat windows changed. He couldn’t read specifics clearly, the sleep was too thick but he could feel things that had been slightly wrong from beginning fit correctly. Like adjusting the grip on something you’ve been holding off-center for so long you stopped noticing it was wrong but now after fixed by someone else, you feel relieved.
It felt so good to be fixed.
[Bloodline integration: complete]
[Soul synchronization rate: 100%]
[Welcome again Earthling. You are finally home]
Eren lay in the dark for a while after the screens stopped. He wasn’t sure what to do with that last line.
Then the system page showed up again.
[New ability unlocked!
-Skill Origin: Half-Elven Bloodline]
Huh?
[Congratulations! You have learned: "CLONE" (Legendary) - First Evolution League]
[CLONE - Active Skill: Generates a perfect physical duplicate of yourself. The clone mirrors your current stats, skills and physical condition at the moment of activation. It may act independently.

Eren read the last line again and again.
Then he woke up.
