Samuel walked away leaving Joice alone. The blonde-haired woman was really feeling very upset that he had not fallen into her arms yet again. What he thought about her was true. She was only after the Lorenzo family’s wealth.

However, she also did like Samuel who she thought was very handsome and authoritative. That’s why she thought he was so perfect by having a handsome face and also wealthy.

She did this because she was not the child Vasco had hoped for. Her mother and father can now have her because Vasco accidentally got drunk and seduced by her mother.

But her birth was a ruin for Samuel’s family because Dasha was disappointed in her husband for having a child with another woman.

"If Dad ends up giving all the wealth to Sam, Sam will definitely kick me and Mom out without a penny. Even since his arrival, he loved him more than me," she said angrily because she didn’t want to fall into poverty after Samuel took over Lorenzo’s family.

She thought back to the woman Samuel had met before. The dark-haired woman with brown eyes, who was none other than Megan.

A few times she heard Samuel talking to Megan over the phone which is why she thought that this woman named Megan was someone who got his attention.

"But that woman was never seen around Dormania again. Is she really not from this place?"

This made him even more curious about Megan and wanted to know more about her. But still, how could she if she didn’t know Megan’s whereabouts.

"I have to know her name first so I can find information about her. But how do I know her name?"

Joice searched for a way to do that and she waited for the right time to find the answer.

A few days later, she accidentally saw Samuel sleeping in one of the living rooms in their mansion. When she saw that the door was slightly ajar, she peeked inside and saw that her half-brother was asleep on the sofa.

She slowly entered the room, making sure that Samuel didn’t wake up and she saw his cell phone on the table.

’It must have that woman’s name on it, or I can find more information from Sam’s phone,’ she thought.

She picked up the phone which turned out to have a password lock that Joice didn’t know what the password was. If she entered it incorrectly five times, the phone would be blocked.

She tried to enter Samuel’s date of birth but that didn’t work either. She was frustrated that she couldn’t figure out the password for the phone.

’What did he use for the password? Could it be his sister’s date of birth? Damn it I don’t know her date of birth. I don’t even remember her name,’ she thought in frustration then suddenly a notification appeared to use Samuel’s fingerprint.

Joice turned to Samuel who was still asleep, slowly she tried to touch the man’s finger so she could attach it to her cell phone.

At first she was hesitant to do so, because she was worried that Samuel would wake up. But unbeknownst to her, it turned out that the man was sleeping too soundly after several days of difficulty sleeping. This made it easy for her to unlock his phone.

She secretly read all the messages that were there. And from all the messages, she saw the profile of a woman she was sure was the same woman she had seen about a year ago.

"It’s her! The woman who was with Sam back then. I have to see what they were talking about," she muttered and opened the message.

She read each message one by one and was quite jealous that Samuel had never said that to her. Although she felt that the whole message looked like he was teasing Megan, Joice was sure that it was a joke because he wanted to get close to her.

"It’s true that I must like this woman! But what’s so attractive about her? I’m much prettier than a woman like her. And I’m sure she’s just an ordinary poor woman who’s nothing," Joice said feeling quite upset.

But she wasn’t going to let this continue. She was even confused by the contact name Samuel had given Megan.

As she was looking for more information about Megan, suddenly a message arrived from the woman which surprised Joice but when she read the message she felt that it was a good opportunity for her.

Hey are you busy? I’m at Dormania right now.

[KITTEN]

I intend to go to Vancia City. Do you want to meet?

A sly smile appeared on Joice’s face because she felt that this way she could meet Megan. What a coincidence that she was there.

She then replied to Megan’s message pretending to be Samuel.

[SAMUEL]

Sure, it wouldn’t be bad to meet you. How about we meet at Selcase cafe.

[KITTEN]

No problem, let’s meet tomorrow morning at 8:00. There are some things I want to talk to you about.

[KITTEN]

And I hope I didn’t interrupt your busy schedule.

[SAMUEL]

You’re not bothering me at all, I’m just waiting for your message.

But for now I have some business to attend to, so I need to get on with my work before I see you tomorrow.

"Now I can just delete all these messages and I won’t know about it. We’ll see tomorrow if I can get that woman away from Sam!"

The next day, Megan sat in front of Selcase cafe. The cafe where she and Samuel had sat together. She sat and waited for him to arrive because she had something to talk to him about his recent change in attitude.

She had come all the way from Zondalian just to see him but he said that he had a job in Dormania. Little did she know that it was not Samuel she would be meeting later but Joice.

"I need to resolve all these things and mend our relationship that I don’t even understand what happened."
