Chapter 117: Going To Dormania

A few days later, Megan went to Odelia’s room and knocked on the door. From inside the room came her voice allowing Megan to enter.

She opened the door and saw that Odelia was standing by the bed.

"Where’s Carmelia? Is she sleeping?" asked Megan, who intended to take her niece outside to play.

"Yes, she’s sleeping. I think she’ll wake up soon," replied Odelia as she pointed to the bed where her daughter was fast asleep.

Megan walked into the room and saw how Odelia was packing clothes into a suitcase. Not only her clothes, but Sean’s and Carmelia’s too. She felt confused, why was Odelia packing clothes?

"Where are you going? Isn’t the house you bought not finished renovating yet?" asked Megan, who was immediately greeted with Odelia’s snicker.

"We’re not moving house, we’re just going on a trip abroad. Sean has a business outside of Zondalian, and he invited me and Carmelia to come with him and take a vacation together," she replied.

Megan nodded in understanding and then asked where Odelia was going. And she was very surprised to hear that Odelia was leaving for Dormania in a few days.

"Did Sean not tell you? We’re going to Dormania the day after tomorrow."

"The day after tomorrow? You’re going to Dormania the day after tomorrow? I didn’t know that. Why didn’t you tell me that?"

She looked a little worried as she heard Odelia was going to Dormania. What if she met Samuel there and also her father’s family. Surely Samuel’s identity would be immediately discovered by her.

But she tried to remain calm because Dormania was a fairly large country, not necessarily Odelia would definitely go to the Vansia City.

"Sorry it seems we did forget to tell you. But you’re okay right? If we go away for 1 week leaving you at home alone."

"You talk like that like you’re talking to a ten-year-old. I’m an adult, I’m sure I’ll be fine," Megan said with a chuckle.

She was confused as to whether she should tell Samuel this or not. She was worried that if she told him, Samuel would be so alert that he wouldn’t be able to focus on his work, thinking that he could have met Odelia.

But if she didn’t say it, what if they accidentally met? But the chances of Odelia going to the city were pretty slim.

After thinking for a while while helping Odelia with her clothes, Megan decided not to say it and just wanted Odelia and the others to be careful when going there or said a few things they shouldn’t do in Dormania.

The appointed day finally came. Sean and his little family went to the airport to go to Dormania. While on the plane, Carmelia luckily didn’t cry and was busy with her snacks.

"Mom, i want a drink please!" she asked her mother and Odelia immediately gave her a mini box of milk.

"You’ve been busy eating your snacks, don’t you want to share them with me?" asked Sean as he rubbed his daughter’s cheek.

Carmelia immediately turned around and handed him the milk box she was drinking. He chuckled and told Carmelia to drink it herself. The little girl immediately went back to sucking the straw in the milk box.

The mother could only laugh at her husband and their daughter who were so familiar with each other.

"I like your mom’s milk better than your milk box," he jokingly teased Odelia.

Her face reddened when Sean said this, she immediately pinched her cheeks lightly in annoyance.

"Don’t joke around like that! What if Carmelia follows it?"

Sean laughed at his wife’s reaction which was so funny to him. He rubbed Odelia’s head, saying that Carmelia would be fine and knew that her father loved her mother very much.

And after a few hours, they finally arrived at the airport and went to find a taxi. Odelia carried a sleeping Carmelia while Sean helped carry the luggage.

"Are you sure you’ll have no problem carrying it? It’ll be difficult because you’ll have to hold the stick too," said a worried Odelia.

"No problem, my leg isn’t as painful as it used to be now it feels better, although it’s still a bit stiff to use. That’s why I still use a cane to help me walk better," Sean replied.

The cane he carried was a simple walking stick that only used one hand.

Taking a taxi, they went to a 5-star hotel in the city. Odelia asked what city they were staying in because she hadn’t seen it at the airport.

"Oh we are in the Vansia City. This is the center of Dormania where all the business people are mostly mafia. But don’t worry, there are still many who do business outside of the mafia’s grasp. Including the one who invited us today," explained Sean.

Odelia nodded in understanding and then looked around the spacious lobby, where there was a man who seemed to be waiting for their arrival.

"Welcome Mr. Osbert, welcome to our hotel and we have prepared the best room for you," said the man who introduced himself as the hotel manager along with several other servants.

"Thank you very much, I came here with my wife and daughter. So I hope you won’t make a mistake if anyone comes into my room later," he replied while introducing Odelia and Carmelia.

"Of course sir, Mr. Gill told us about it and we’ll take you to your room," the manager replied again.

They then went to room number 15 and entered one of the rooms which had good facilities, a large bed, a bathroom with fixed and shower and a small kitchenette.

"This room is very nice, and very comfortable for us to stay in for a week," Odelia said as she walked into the room.

The hotel manager and staff left them in the room. Sean, Odelia and Carmelia then rested on the bed until it was time for dinner.

They were looking forward to the vacation they would take after Sean was done with his business.

Especially Odelia who felt that Dormania was a place she should have visited long ago. Without knowing that she had been born in that place.
