I Have A Baby From My Ex-Husband's Enemy-Chapter 126: Good Decision

It was a warm dinner at the Lorenzo family mansion. After a long period of emptiness and coldness in the mansion, tonight Vasco felt a change for the better.

He was reunited with his two children, and this time his son-in-law arrived after they had picked him up.

"Daddy!" called Carmelia as she ran towards Sean, when he arrived.

Sean immediately knelt down to hug his daughter, and Odelia even kissed him on the cheek. Vasco saw how happy they were, and he felt that it made him happy too.

Even so, he couldn’t trust his daughter’s husband 100%. He should be able to try to find out what the man was really like.

"So you’re apparently the man who slept with my daughter until she even conceived a child," the man said as he walked up to Sean with his quite larger body and sharp eyes.

Sean looked up at the father of his wife, and nodded his head with a serious expression. He knew that one day he would face a moment like this. Although he had thought that this wouldn’t happen after Odelia said she didn’t remember where her father was, but it turned out that this day had really come.

"That’s right, my name is Sean Osbert. I’m the man who accidentally slept with your daughter and is now her husband. You might think that I’m doing this just to take responsibility. But that was true, until your daughter changed my intentions," said Sean introducing himself until he finally explained why he had married Odelia.

"Oh really? Would you mind telling me why you ended up marrying my daughter?" asked Vasco again in a tone that was firm and also very cold.

Odelia, who witnessed this, felt sorry for her husband for being pressured by her father. She tried to ask her father not to put too much pressure on Sean. But Vasco bought the code to his daughter not to speak up.

"This is a man’s business, between me and this husband of yours. I am your father and I should know what you choose at this time." 𝕗𝐫𝚎𝗲𝘄𝐞𝕓𝐧𝕠𝘃𝕖𝐥.𝐜𝚘𝚖

"It’s okay, love. I will handle this. You don’t have to worry because I can do it," Sean said then he started answering questions from his father-in-law.

He then began to explain everything from his perspective, about Odelia. How she had healed the pain in his heart when he was afraid to open his feelings to someone else again. When she was still haunted by the loss of her ex-fiancé, along with their baby in an accident.

Sean was devastated, especially since it was followed by the death of his parents as well. He had lost so many precious people in one incident.

"Then the unexpected happened at the hotel that night, and when I got a message from her friend saying that Odelia was with her and currently pregnant with my child, I couldn’t stop myself from seeing her."

And it was from there that Sean slowly began to like Odelia from how she treated him warmly, even though their marriage was just a contract at first. But slowly he understood what his wife was like who was like an angel sent for him.

"I always try my best for your daughter, because I know your wife has given birth to a wonderful angel," he said with a smile and now he had his little angel too.

The answer that Sean gave made Vasco feel relieved, because the man valued his daughter so much. He took responsibility and learned to love and heal their wounds together.

Vasco is indeed a mafia boss who is known to be ruthless and heartless. But when it came to his children, he couldn’t help but feel for them.

He patted Sean’s shoulder while smiling with satisfaction and pride for what he had done.

"You’ve made the right decision, and not everyone can do that. I’m glad my daughter found a man like you," he said.

He shook his head, saying that he was the one who felt very lucky to have met Odelia.

She couldn’t help but smile when she heard all that and Sean immediately hugged her and kissed her forehead.

Samuel in the dining room had been watching their conversation, and now he was at a loss as to how he would reveal that he and Megan were in a special relationship.

’How will Dad react if he finds out I’m dating my brother-in-law’s sister. Will he accept it or will he think I’m a freak for dating Megan,’ Samuel thought to himself.

They then had dinner together, while talking about a few things where it turned out that Vasco and Sean got along very quickly because they liked the same thing, which was playing golf, and they even promised to play together next time.

Odelia smiled at how her father liked her husband, making her feel that Sean was the right man for her. Her mother also liked Sean and so did her father, wasn’t that a good sign even though they were married?

After dinner, they went off to do their respective activities while Sean, Odelia and Carmelia went to the rooms they would be staying in.

"I’m glad you get along so well with my father. My Dad even said that you can call him father too," Odelia said as she lowered Carmelia on the bed.

"To be honest, I was worried about talking to him. Especially when I found out he was a mobster, I felt like I had been hit twice by the fear I had. I was worried that I would say the wrong thing in front of him especially thinking that he knew about our first meeting." Sean sighed but at the moment he felt upheld that Vasco was not angry with him.

She nodded her head and he asked about what happened between Odelia’s family. He realized that his question was too sensitive but it didn’t matter to her and she began to tell him what she knew about to her husband.

After hearing everything, Sean felt that Vasco should immediately meet Dasha to apologize to her once again.

Now he understood why Dasha had asked him if he had a lover before when he first met Odelia.

"I think your mother must miss him too, but she is still shrouded in disappointment and feels sad about what happened. We have to try to help them see each other again," Sean said.

He wasn’t trying to interfere with them but it had been almost 20 years. They should be reunited soon, because surely the current situation is much better than before.

Moreover, Joice and her mother had already left the mansion, so maybe Dasha could now think more calmly.

"Maybe you’re right, it’s better for mom to get back together with dad. I’m sure her anger has subsided and it’s time for them to be reunited."
