Chapter 151: Can This Be Called A Happy Ending? [END]

The long-awaited day has finally arrived, as it’s now the wedding day for Samuel and Megan. The couple met at an unexpected time, even sounding very silly where Megan accidentally bumped into Samuel and gave him her underwear instead of a handkerchief.

But from that silly encounter, the seeds of love and interest in each other emerged. Until finally they are in the current position where they will soon officially become husband and wife.

Megan waited in the dressing room, sitting right in front of the large mirror in front of her. She looked at herself wearing a white dress which was her dream all along. It just kept getting delayed for some reason.

However, she felt so sad that she didn’t have a father to walk her down the aisle. She wished she could see her parents attending her wedding today. Although she knew it was impossible as they had passed away long ago.

"I guess this is what Sean felt before. Wish mom and dad were here for us, but they’re gone. I hope they’re watching this up there," she said.

Knock knock

It wasn’t long before a knock sounded, and Megan let whoever was knocking on the door in. It was Sean, her older brother who was ready to walk her down the aisle in their father’s place.

"Look at you, you’re so pretty in that dress. What’s this?" Sean walked up to Megan and he saw the sad expression on her face.

"Why do you look sad? This is your wedding day, and this is what you expected. Then why do you still look sad like that?" he asked her again.

"I just feel sad that mom and dad aren’t here. They couldn’t witness my wedding in person and Dad wasn’t even there to walk me down the aisle," she replied with a bit of gloom.

Sean could understand that, so he approached Megan and touched her chin to look at him.

"I understand your sadness right now, because I felt the same way when I got married to Odelia. I wish they were here, but I know they’re not coming back," Sean explained.

However, he knew that their parents would be watching them from heaven. They would give their blessings and happiness from heaven. He wanted her not to think too much about it, because Sean would be there for her.

"You don’t have to worry and be afraid, we will continue to be together as siblings. Everything will be fine," he said and rubbed Megan’s head.

He asked her not to be sad, because today was the day Megan would live happily with the man of her choice.

Megan suddenly hugged her brother tightly, thanking Sean for being there for her. She was also happy that Sean gave her permission to be with Samuel.

"At first I thought this was going to be a nightmare. But Odelia assured me that your happiness is also the most important thing. If you are happy with him, then I will let you be with him as long as you keep in touch with me from there," the older brother told his younger sister.

They both hugged each other, believing that their parents were always near them and were currently hugging them as well.

Outside the dressing room, the wedding party had been decorated quite lavishly, with wysteria flowers adorning the ceiling of the event.

Vasco’s men were scattered in every corner of the wedding area, where they were tasked with watching and guarding the area as security. Because he thought his men were much more competent and reliable than hiring real security.

"They are much more professional, so they are much more reliable than hiring security," he said.

At the altar, Samuel was already waiting along with the Marriage officiant. He felt nervous that he would make a mistake later, but he tried to calm himself down.

"There’s no need to hesitate, I’m sure you can do well. Just relax," Vasco said as he tapped his son on the shoulder, trying to calm him down.

"Thank you Father," he said and Vasco sat in the front seat along with Dasha and Odelia.

The wedding ceremony finally began, with the bride arriving with her brother and walking slowly up the aisle to present Megan to her future husband.

Megan looked very beautiful, wearing a long dress and a veil covering her face. Even so, the invited guests were amazed and praised Megan’s beauty on her wedding day.

Megan turned to the invited guests, and saw that Henry was also there. He smiled, seeing the woman he loved marrying someone else. But for him, Megan’s happiness came first, and he couldn’t force himself on her.

And when they finally reached the altar, this time it was Sean who gave Megan’s hand to Samuel.

"Take good care of my little sister, don’t ever let her down or make her cry. If that happens, I will immediately bring her back to me. Do you understand?" He asked which Samuel immediately answered with a nod of his head.

"Yes I understand, I swear I won’t make her cry."

Finally Megan wrapped her arms around Samuel and the marriage officiant began their wedding. He began to read a few things before it was finally time for Megan and Samuel to say their wedding vows.

"Samuel, are you willing to take Megan as your wife? If you are then say your wedding vows," she said.

"Yes, I do. I Samuel Lorenzo, do take Megan Osbert as my wife. I promise that I will always love Megan. In good times or bad, in health or sickness, in wealth or poverty. I promise to stay by her side, protecting her until death do us part."

Everyone was surprised to hear Samuel mention Lorenzo’s name. It was as if the name already had an image of its own and was the hallmark of a mobster.

They started whispering about Samuel’s identity, but just then Vasco cleared his throat loudly, not giving them the code to keep quiet.

Sean shook his head, but they still couldn’t hide the fact that Samuel was part of the mafia. And everyone would know about it.

The wedding vows finally continued with Megan saying hers this time.

"I, Megan Osbert, am willing to marry Samuel Lorenzo and become his wife. I promise that I will always love Samuel. In good times or bad, in health or sickness, in wealth or poverty. I promise to stay by his side, loyal to him until death do us part," Megan said with joy.

After exchanging vows they also exchanged rings. And the Marriage officiant formalized them as husband and wife.

Samuel removed the veil covering Megan’s face. He saw her beautiful face smiling at him.

"Do I look pretty today?" she asked him teasingly.

"You’re so beautiful, you always look beautiful no matter what. You’re like a goddess to me," replied Samuel who immediately pulled Megan’s waist closer.

But before he could kiss his wife, Megan grabbed him by the collar of his suit and pulled him into a kiss. Samuel was wide-eyed with shock as Megan suddenly became aggressive towards him.

But he immediately melted into the kiss too and pulled her waist closer to him. Everyone who had been laughing at how Megan suddenly kissed Samuel, now applauded their marriage.

She then broke the kiss, and smiled nosily at Samuel.

"You did that on purpose, didn’t you? You will get punishment after this, Kitten," he said with an annoyed smile. But he was also quite amused by what Megan did.

The wedding party was so lively, everyone was having so much fun that smiles never left their faces.

"Aunt Megan, congratulations on your wedding!" Carmelia said as she handed over a bunch of white lilies.

"Thank you, dear!"

"Don’t you want to give it to uncle too?" Samuel asked his niece.

Carmelia walked over to her uncle and kissed him on the cheek as Samuel knelt before her.

Witnessing this, Sean and Odelia smiled because Carmelia loved her uncle too. Megan chuckled then turned to her niece.

"Why does he get that kiss and I don’t?" she asked, not yet pretending to be angry as she knelt in front of Carmelia.

The little girl then giggled and kissed her aunt on the cheek. Megan immediately hugged her tightly and kissed her back. Dasha and Vasco were happy that everything had ended well. Their relationship is also on the mend and Dasha is going back to the Lorenzo family mansion.

They all sat together to enjoy the food at the party.

"I want salmon and garlic sauce," said Megan as she finally got the food she wanted.

But when she was about to eat the garlic sauce, she suddenly felt nauseous and couldn’t stand the smell of the garlic sauce.

"Urrgh-" 𝗳𝚛𝗲𝕖𝕨𝕖𝗯𝚗𝚘𝕧𝕖𝗹.𝗰𝗼𝕞

Everyone became worried when they saw Megan’s unusual state. Until Dasha suddenly walked up to Megan and asked her a question.

"Could it be that you’re pregnant?"

They were all shocked when they heard that, especially Megan and Samuel who immediately exchanged glances with wide eyes.

"I’m pregnant?!"
