I Just Wanted to Teach Cultivation, But Goddesses Keep Coming!-Chapter 115 Slapped Into The Next Realm
Meanwhile, inside the restaurant, Lin Feng continued eating with calm composure, utterly unfazed by the lingering tension.
The air around him seemed to press down on the gang members like a tangible force, keeping their nerves taut and their pride in check.
Finally, after what felt like an eternity of silent fear, one of the thirty-six Iron Rat Gang members summoned the courage to speak.
"Shouldn’t we report this to the boss?" a man stammered, his voice tight with anxiety.
Beads of sweat formed along his temple, and his hands trembled uncontrollably as he stole nervous glances at Lin Feng.
Another gang member barked sharply, trying to assert some authority over the situation, though his own fear betrayed him.
"I agree! He’s the one who fancies Ling Lan, isn’t he? Then he should be the one to deal with Lin Feng... kick him out of here!"
A third member, younger and visibly more nervous, quickly raised his hand.
"Wait! Just tell him about Lin Feng eating here. That’s all. Keep it simple!" His eyes flicked to Lin Feng again, and a shiver ran down his spine.
"Yes... yes, I will!" The first man’s voice cracked slightly as he nodded vigorously, his body stiff with tension.
Without another word, he spun on his heel and bolted from the restaurant, moving so fast that his feet barely seemed to touch the ground.
The remaining gang members froze, exchanging tense glances.
The tension in the air remained thick and almost suffocating, but Ling Lan and Lin Feng continued undisturbed in their own worlds.
Ling Lan moved gracefully around the kitchen, the rhythmic motions of chopping, stirring, and plating creating a soothing contrast to the anxious energy filling the restaurant.
Lin Feng, meanwhile, ate with steady, unhurried precision, completely absorbed in his meal, as if the thirty-six gang members surrounding him and the entire world outside simply didn’t exist.
Everyone else in the restaurant watched silently, holding their breath.
Many of the onlookers would have loved to order food and enjoy Ling Lan’s cooking, to be served by a woman of her beauty and skill, but none of them had the courage.
The Iron Rat Gang’s presence loomed like a shadow over the room, keeping them frozen in place.
Lin Feng, fearless and indifferent, was the only one who dared act normally, and that made the scene feel all the more surreal.
For over thirty minutes, this strange scene continued.
Then, the door of the restaurant swung open, and the atmosphere shifted instantly.
A figure appeared, and every eye in the room followed him without exception.
He was an imposing man dressed in dark, finely tailored clothes.
His posture radiated authority, his stride carried the weight of experience and power, and the aura of someone used to always getting his way seemed to shimmer around him like an invisible cloak.
"Look... that’s him," someone whispered in awe. "The leader of the Iron Rat Gang... Mo Yan!"
Another voice added, trembling with excitement, "I heard he’s already over 200 years old, and just a step away from becoming a Foundation Establishment realm powerhouse!"
"Wow! This is going to be incredible! Free entertainment, and I get to see it live!" a third bystander said, practically vibrating with anticipation.
A hush fell over the room as Mo Yan’s sharp gaze swept across the restaurant.
The gang members straightened immediately, fear and respect mingling on their faces.
Even from where he stood, it was clear that this was a man accustomed to command, a man whose words and actions carried consequences no one dared ignore.
"Boss!" they chorused, bowing low in unison, their heads nearly touching the floor.
Mo Yan’s eyes flickered with annoyance.
He spat on the ground beside him, the motion sharp and disdainful.
"What a bunch of incompetent fools!" he snapped, shaking his head in disgust. "Pathetic."
He pushed past them, his dark robes brushing against the floor, and made his way toward Lin Feng’s table.
Without a word, Mo Yan sat down across from Lin Feng.
He grabbed a piece of chicken thigh from the table, biting into it with exaggerated force, chewing loudly and deliberately as if to assert dominance.
The sound echoed in the small restaurant, a taunt in itself.
Mo Yan finally looked Lin Feng in the eyes, a dangerous glint in his gaze.
"Get out of this place, boy. You’re not welcome here," he said, tossing a chicken bone carelessly onto the table.
His tone was cold, commanding, but underneath it lay a simmering, personal hunger... one that had nothing to do with food.
For months, Mo Yan had been watching Ling Lan, coveting her beauty and spirit.
He could have easily abducted her long ago, forced her into submission, and bent her will to his, but he had a peculiar, cruel obsession... he wanted to break a woman completely... body, mind, and soul until she begged for his attention, until she offered herself willingly.
It was why he had deliberately made life difficult for Ling Lan.
He had drained her business, intimidated her customers, and kept her restaurant empty for weeks.
He wanted her to feel the creeping despair, the gnawing helplessness of having no options, no pride left, no dignity remaining when the table was empty and her pockets bare.
Every coin she lost, every frustrated glance at an empty dining room, brought him a twisted sense of satisfaction.
Lin Feng finally set his chopsticks aside and slowly lifted his gaze to meet Mo Yan’s, his expression calm and unbothered, as if the entire world had shrunk to just the two of them.
"This is a place to eat," Lin Feng said smoothly, his voice carrying an air of authority that made the room seem to quiet in respect.
"I have money, so I get to eat. As for people like you... loitering here without purpose, looking to intimidate or cause trouble... all of you should scram. You eat other people’s food without asking, so I suppose Lady Luck has turned her back on you. Not my problem."
He leaned back slightly, eyes never leaving Mo Yan, and with a faint smirk added... 𝒇𝒓𝒆𝒆𝙬𝒆𝒃𝓷𝒐𝓿𝙚𝙡.𝒄𝓸𝒎
"Here, I’ll give you some alms for your troubles. No need to thank me or bow or anything of that sort. Just take it, go with a smile, and know that someone just this once has shown you kindness in a world that’s far too dark."
