I Just Wanted to Teach Cultivation, But Goddesses Keep Coming!-Chapter 81 I’m Not Fat, I’m a Natural Defense Array!
The carriage soon rolled through the streets, the sound of hooves echoing rhythmically against the stone roads.
The eight powerful horses pulled it forward with ease, their muscles rippling beneath their glossy coats.
Along the way, people stopped in their tracks, eyes widening in astonishment.
"Who owns that carriage?!"
"Look at those horses! They’re incredible!"
"I can feel their aura from here... Each one feels like a Qi Condensation Realm expert... no, maybe even stronger!"
Whispers spread quickly, turning into excited murmurs.
Passersby slowed their steps, some even following behind out of sheer curiosity.
The spectacle drew more and more attention as the carriage continued forward, becoming the center of the street.
Eventually, word spread of the carriage’s origin.
"They belong to Lin Feng’s students."
"What?! His students have beasts like this?" 𝓯𝓻𝓮𝙚𝙬𝓮𝙗𝒏𝙤𝒗𝙚𝙡.𝒄𝒐𝓶
Gasps rippled through the crowd.
"Lin Feng becomes more mysterious with each passing day," someone muttered, awe and uncertainty mixed in their voice.
Inside the carriage, Su Wanwan sat quietly, her hands folded in her lap, unaware of the storm of curiosity and speculation her classmates had unknowingly caused.
They arrived at the academy gates, and the moment Su Wanwan stepped down from the carriage, her eyes lit up with excitement.
Without wasting a second, she hurried toward Classroom 101, her small feet pattering quickly against the stone path.
"Teacher! Wanwan is here! Wanwan isn’t late!" she called out as she pushed the door open.
However, instead of seeing Lin Feng standing at the front of the room, she was met with a different sight.
Wang Yuyan was inside, holding a broom and sweeping the floor.
She paused when she saw Wanwan and offered her a gentle smile.
"Teacher Lin Feng isn’t here yet, Wanwan," Wang Yuyan said kindly.
"He usually arrives at nine o’clock. It’s still eight, so he won’t be here for at least another hour."
Wanwan blinked in surprise, then tilted her head slightly.
"Oh... Wanwan came too early."
"But that’s a good thing," Wang Yuyan added warmly, returning to her sweeping.
"It shows you’re diligent."
"Thank you, Classmate Wang Yuyan!" Wanwan said brightly. "Wanwan also wants to help!"
She quickly dropped her things onto her chair, carefully placing her bag beneath the desk, then trotted back over to Wang Yuyan and asked how she could assist.
Wang Yuyan handed her a small cloth, and Su Wanwan immediately began wiping the desks with great seriousness, her tiny hands moving carefully across the wooden surfaces.
Not long after, the classroom door opened again.
Qiao Mei and Chu Jiangyue entered together, both surprised to find the room already being cleaned.
"You’re here so early, Yuyan?" Qiao Mei said with a laugh.
"I just wanted to make the classroom nice for Teacher Lin Feng," Wang Yuyan replied, rolling up her sleeves even more.
The two of them soon joined in, wiping desks, arranging chairs, and tidying the room.
Though the classroom hadn’t been very dirty to begin with, their diligent efforts made it shine.
Even the corners were spotless, and not a single speck of dust could be found anywhere.
When they were finished, Su Wanwan stepped back, hands on her hips, and admired their work with satisfaction.
Once they finished cleaning, the girls lingered, taking the opportunity to chat and get to know one another better.
The room, now spotless and shining in the morning light, felt warmer somehow with their laughter and voices filling the space.
"Tell us more about yourself, Wanwan," Qiao Mei asked curiously, tilting her head with a gentle smile.
"It’s the first time I’ve seen you in Clear Moon City. Where do you two originally come from?" Wang Yuyan asked, her tone friendly but tinged with curiosity.
"You’re all so pretty! Wanwan wants to grow up and be pretty like you too."
"Wanwan forgot to say thank you earlier. Wanwan was just too excited to see Teacher Lin Feng. Thank you so much for the ride," Wanwan said shyly, her small hands fidgeting as she looked at the older girls with admiration sparkling in her eyes.
The classroom seemed almost alive with their conversation, the sounds of giggles, questions, and gentle teasing filling every corner.
For a full ten minutes, the world outside the classroom didn’t seem to exist until the sudden opening of the door made everyone startle.
All eyes turned toward the entrance, and the girls froze for a moment at the sight that greeted them.
A big, fat man stood in the doorway, his presence impossible to ignore.
He was about five feet eight inches tall, his frame wide and imposing.
His clothes were clean, expensive, and finely embroidered, clearly marking him as someone from a wealthy and influential clan.
Wanwan’s little mouth formed a surprised O and even Chu Jiangyue and Qiao Mei exchanged curious glances.
Only Wang Yuyan seemed to recognize him.
It was obvious at first sight... no poor person could afford such clothing or maintain such a well-fed appearance.
There was an air of confidence in the man’s stance, and the way he looked around the classroom made it clear that he was used to being noticed and the center of attention.
It wasn’t hard to achieve, given just how big and fat he really was.
"Yes? Can we help you?" Qiao Mei finally asked, stepping slightly forward, her voice polite but firm.
The big, fat man took a long moment to reply, stunned into place.
His eyes swept across the classroom, lingering far too long on the three beautiful women before him.
Chu Jiangyue, Wang Yuyan, and Qiao Mei sat neatly at their desks, but to the big fatty, they seemed to radiate an almost otherworldly allure.
He studied each of them in turn, his gaze slow and deliberate, as if he were cataloging their features for some important record.
A bead of saliva formed at the corner of his mouth, and without thinking, he licked it away before swallowing loudly, trying and failing to compose himself.
Straightening his posture as best he could, he puffed out his chest, lifted his head, and attempted to look regal.
