I kept running my chariot for five minutes before I saw a silhouette running towards my direction with a crew of fifty others running behind. It was a giant Selvator, one with a pale golden coloured armour. ๐Ÿ๐˜ณ๐‘’๐—ฒ๐˜ธe๐’ƒ๐˜ฏ๐’๐ฏe๐š•.c๐’๐’Ž

Pale gold ranked armour at such early stages of the apocalypseโ€ฆ that was enough to tell me that dude wasnโ€™t just a simple Selvator.

โ€œGreeting to the human race Hye,โ€ before he came closer to a hundred metres, he stood in the middle of his men while adding, โ€œIโ€™m here to answer your call.โ€

โ€œCome on board,โ€ I said before adding, โ€œalone.โ€

โ€œThisโ€ฆโ€ I heard a few loud exclamations coming from down below. In fact as I observed the team that followed him, I saw pieces of each race in them.

Even the dragons and succubi that I dealt heavy blows towards, they also sent few to attend this meeting.

โ€œI give you my word,โ€ I said before anyone else would say anything to complicate this situation, โ€œcome on board and you wonโ€™t be touched.โ€

โ€œDonโ€™t believe a human!โ€ a dragon race shouted in insult, โ€œhe comes from a treacherous race that knows no honour!โ€

โ€œMy race is all but traitors,โ€ I said before I threw a grenade to the Gollems and pointed towards one direction as I added, โ€œif I wanted to kill you on the spotโ€ฆโ€

*Rumble!* *Boom!* *Boom!*

The mere sounds of explosion that happened from the grenade was enough to turn the faces down below into ashen white. I crossed my arms, stood in my place for a few minutes while they had to run after my chariot to keep up with its speed.

โ€œI wonโ€™t say it again,โ€ I said, โ€œif you want to negotiate then come alone on board and you wonโ€™t be touched.โ€

โ€œDonโ€™t go overboard!โ€

โ€œIf we wanted to kill you, we can!โ€

โ€œThis is just the face of a bastard acting like a king!โ€

โ€œEnough!โ€

Just as many enraged shouts came even from the fighting lovers Berserkers, the Selvator in the lead shouted in a decisive voice. โ€œIโ€™ll come on boardโ€ฆโ€ he paused while giving his last word to others, โ€œalone.โ€

โ€œI trust your honourable words,โ€ I said, โ€œcome, you are warmly welcomed on board.โ€

As I said these words, I sent a message to my illusionists scattered down below. They spread the order to let only that Selvator to come inside while the soulers kept scanning the area, looking for any hidden illusionists or any hidden foes.

โ€œWelcome to my chariot,โ€ I said while keeping my chariot running in circles, while the monster kept roaring and chasing behind without showing any sign of threat.

โ€œI have to admit,โ€ the Selvator said, โ€œthis is really a remarkable war chariot. I saw many dragons on the walls, did they belong to dragons?โ€

โ€œItโ€™s mine,โ€ I shrugged, โ€œand now letโ€™s not waste our time over such things. We need to find a way to kill this monster.โ€

The Selvator turned his eyes towards the giant Gollems and the giant ballista they operated. From the gleam in his eyes I could tell he was so much interested in my little baby.

โ€œNothing here is for sale,โ€ I said blatantly.

โ€œAh, sorry but I always appreciate good and big war machines,โ€ the tone he spoke with was filled with envy. He pointed at the rear monster without turning his back to me. Of course he was on his guard, so was I.

โ€œWhatโ€™s wrong with that monster?โ€

โ€œAsk the angels,โ€ I shrugged, โ€œthey were the ones to bring him here in the first place.โ€

โ€œThe angels?โ€ The look on his face told me a lot about what he felt. And that was why I kept myself away from making this move for an entire hour.

Plus another reason of course.

โ€œThe angels donโ€™t care about any of us,โ€ I finally said what I really asked him here, โ€œthey are just selfish races who seek only their benefit. Even their honour is questionable! If there is a treacherous race here to guard against then they would come on top of the list.โ€

โ€œAnd youโ€™ll be the king of such a list!โ€ At this moment three angels appeared midair. From their faces I could see they were on the verge of vomiting blood. f๐š›e๐šŽ๐˜„๐’†๐š‹๐š—๐š˜ัต๐‘’๐š•.๐‘๐˜ฐ๐‘š

Of course I knew theyโ€™d come. After all, they never had left in the first place.

โ€œAh, itโ€™s our dear angels,โ€ I said as if I was startled by their appearance, โ€œI was just mentioning you, speaking about your dirty work here and the treason you committed against all the races combined.โ€

โ€œWe didnโ€™t do anything!โ€ the middle angel, the leader of this group of three, shouted in denial, โ€œwe are just aiding all the races and guiding them over the course of the apocalypse!โ€

โ€œYes, we do everything in fairness!โ€

โ€œWe never betrayed any word given by us!โ€

The other two joined in and spoke, and they just added more fun to this funny meeting.

โ€œGuide? Fairness? Honour your words? Tsk, I never expected you to have such thick skin,โ€ I shook my head in disappointment while the Selvator standing in front of me was all silent.

โ€œSince when you were fair to all races? You treated humans like you treat pigs and sheep! You are biassed, even before the apocalypse started you were already standing on one side against the other.โ€

I pointed my hand towards the monster before adding, โ€œand now just look at the mess you created here? Not only you brought such a deadly f*cking monsters from a dark realm to kill all the races here, you also allowed such a parasite to infect it. Your words? Humph, I donโ€™t need to speak about that! Just take a look around and everything will be clear to any blind!โ€

โ€œYouโ€ฆ!โ€ the leader of the angels trembled slightly as he heard what I said. What? Did you think Iโ€™d keep all this stuff to myself?

Dudeโ€ฆ Surviving this apocalypse wouldnโ€™t be possible if such war continued. You allied five races together, and if I added the scary Curasee race as well then things would look worse for me and all the humans.

To survive, I had to crack such a coalition at any cost. Thanks to you, I finally got a chance to lay down my first foundation in doing that!

โ€œHumans were never considered a high race to begin with!โ€ the leader finally showed his real intentions towards humans, โ€œbut for other races, we highly esteemed them. Esteemed archlord Fang, please donโ€™t let him trick you.โ€

โ€œTrick him?โ€ I scoffed as if this was a joke, โ€œhe is a Selvator, not an idiot.โ€

I said this while shrugging, as if I was saying some kind of praise to that dude called Fang. I just noticed that the three angels were showing a strange attitude towards this dude here.

Was he a big shot back at home? Should I kill him now or wait for later?

โ€œMy archlordโ€ฆ Pleaseโ€ฆโ€

โ€œEnough!โ€ Fang seemed to grow tired of listening to our bullshit. Of course he had all the right to feel so, even though I wanted to go and punch those dirty angels in the face.

โ€œYou said they brought the monster,โ€ the Selvator said while his tone seemed damn serious. The air that dude emitted made me feel danger and he just unconsciously released it.

Damn those Selvators! They were really blessed!

โ€œThey did,โ€ I nodded, โ€œthey used some sort of a treasure to create a summoning gate between our world and the dark realmโ€ฆโ€ I intentionally paused before asking, โ€œhave you heard about the dark realm before?โ€

โ€œWho didnโ€™t?โ€ he simply answered, โ€œbut I have to admit, a human in such secluded and retarded world knows about that is a surprise for me!โ€

โ€œI guarantee youโ€™ll be more surprised the more you know me,โ€ I smiled without adding anymore.

Right now the decision was in his hands to make, not mine. Either he believed me and accepted the temporary alliance Iโ€™d propose, or he wouldnโ€™t and would stand on the side of the angels like always.

โ€œWeโ€™ll see about that,โ€ he said before adding, โ€œyou also mentioned somethingโ€ฆ a parasite you said?โ€

โ€œAsk them, not me,โ€ I pointed towards the three angels. And the answer to his question came in one simple response.

*Fwoosh!*

The three of them flashed and vanished without even saying goodbye. Fang frowned, as he furrowed his brows and his face changed a bit.

โ€œTold you,โ€ I shrugged, โ€œthey canโ€™t be trusted.โ€

โ€œBut you know what they did here, right?โ€ he said, โ€œtell me then.โ€

โ€œThis can be done butโ€ฆโ€ I intentionally paused and he got what I meant.

โ€œYou must do anything with a price? I read something about your race regarding such a lowly nature of yours!โ€

Despite his words being mean and rude, I didnโ€™t flinch. Dude, of course I would milk you to the last drop without batting an eye! Even if you called me stingy or a bastard!

โ€œFirst itโ€™s now a lowly nature or anything like this,โ€ I said in a calm tone, โ€œthis is the rule of the universe. We arenโ€™t the only race dealing in such a way. Besides I require two things, one is a fair price, and the other is a contract between the two of us.โ€

โ€œA contract?โ€ his eyes shone and I could feel his suffocating pressure coming out of his raised guard, โ€œWhat type of contract?โ€

โ€œA secrecy ensuring contract,โ€ I said while exerting every ounce of my strength to not tremble in front of his brutal aura, โ€œthis knowledge is something you should know for now.โ€

โ€œBut you already know it!โ€

โ€œIโ€™m different,โ€ I said before boosting myself, โ€œIโ€™m a special case!โ€

โ€œโ€ฆโ€

The Selvator dude seems to not believe my words. Fang, I came from the future dude and knew things you would never get to know!

โ€œBring it out then,โ€ he said without changing the look on his face, โ€œand fill in the price you wanted. If that price wasnโ€™t fair, then I wouldnโ€™t accept the entire deal!โ€

โ€œWellโ€ฆ About thatโ€ฆ You seeโ€ฆโ€ I showed my struggle instead of taking the contract out.

โ€œWhat?โ€

โ€œMy market is sealed,โ€ I helplessly raised both hands in the air, โ€œso Iโ€™ll have to trouble you for that.โ€

โ€œHere,โ€ in a simple wave of his hand, he threw a contract towards my direction. It happened so fast that I even missed the moment he opened the market and purchased it.

Or waitโ€ฆ was he already prepared and had such things in his inventory? Damn! This dude seemed to be your meticulous type!

I filled the content of the contract before throwing it back to him. โ€œI already signed it,โ€ I said while watching his face as he started reading the contract.

โ€œThisโ€ฆโ€ he raised his head and his eyes shone in dangerous light. The air he emitted made me retreat a couple of steps, while a graver feeling of danger overwhelmed me.

โ€œThis is the fair price for such info,โ€ I said while not showing any intention of changing my price, โ€œor else there is no need to make this deal.โ€

*Roar!*

Just as this moment the monster seemed to get a message from the angels. That dude who was trying to kill all the races around finally turned his gaze at me. And as it roared, it raised its head to the sky and released a silent roar.

โ€œItโ€™s coming again,โ€ I muttered, โ€œwe donโ€™t have much time. Those bastards just told that parasite that his covering is blown and so he is going to attack in a wild way.โ€

โ€œWilder than this?!โ€ the Selvator raised an eyebrow while I couldnโ€™t help but inwardly sigh. โ€œYou still call him a parasite?โ€ He tried to get a clue out of this, but I sealed my lips tight and said nothing.

I only motioned towards the contract. Dude, that price might seem heavy but it wasnโ€™t anything to you.

โ€œBut this doesnโ€™t include this city, right?โ€ he said while his question seemed like an exclamation of surprise and doubt rather than really asking. โ€œAre you this confident in surviving the trap laid in the city?โ€

โ€œIโ€™m not only confident,โ€ I mysteriously smiled and this time I gave off a strong air filled with confidence, โ€œand in the end this city will fall under my reign, and youโ€™ll be the one giving me the keys to this city.โ€

โ€œYouโ€ฆโ€ the two of us stood without backing off. Even if he was stronger than mine, I wasnโ€™t lower in terms of will power.
