I reincarnated as an elf .......and married the yandere villainess.-Chapter 11:Queen.
Large light crystals floated in the air casting a dim light, grazing against the swaying glowing vines that cast a blueish light down on the obsidian floors.
The sound of slow-flowing water filled the room from the two streams perfectly lined on both ends of the floor leading up to the large throne that rose above ground like the Grim Reaper’s throne.
Skulls lined with black and dark blue gems surrounded the throne, some of them serving as footstones for the woman sitting on the throne.
Her gaze was fierce and condescending as she looked down at her ministers who were kneeling below her.
That was her majesty the queen, Lilith Vaelithra.
"What is this nonsense you’ve coined up this time," Her cold but authoritative voice filled the large throne room.
She was leaning back lazily like a panther, a hand under her chin as she looked down at them.
The six ministers shivered. A woman was also kneeling a few steps from the group also bowing down to him.
Unlike the other dark elves who had dark black or blue hair, she was blessed with white hair that shimmered against her grey skin.
"The moon goddess has sent me a prophecy, " the woman said softly but didn’t rise.
Her shaking body was a big sign of her fear.
"Where did you get this heretic, if you wish to impersonate the goddess messanger then do it somewhere else, if not provide me with proof or your head will join my collection. "
Her foot tapped on one of the skulls to make it even more real.
"I’m Elmeraldas daughter, my mother told me to tell you this after we meet," the woman said in urgency.
This caused Lilith on the throne to pause a little.
"Really, i thought that old crook died since she decided to disappear on me."
She said fondly. The kneeling woman sighed inwardly in relief noticing the change.
"Here...mother said to give you this. It was her last prophecy. "
One of the dark elf attendants standing below the throne walked over and picked up the small blue envelope.
He gave it to the queen on the throne and stepped back.
Papers being opened filled the room then a small disbelieving laugh burst out of the Lilith.
"Are you serious!"
She threw the letter down. It floated in the air and landed on one of the kneeling minister’s hands.
Their faces paled even further after reading the components.
’This is ridiculous ’
That was the only thought going through their minds.
"Mother said it must be done, the moon goddess commands it."
"Why! I could find a husband among my stronger warriors, why must it be those arrogant high elves!"
She seethed. One of the skulls broke and the mountain in which the palace had been built in shook under her budding wrath.
Cracks began to appear and the flowing water splashed onto the obsidian floor.
"The goddess says, we must unite as elves. The God of light also sends his approval. It is time for us to stop our childish differences," the woman said, her hand passionately on her chest.
The queen took a deep breath trying to calm her brewing anger.
"Leave!"
Her voice echoed in the throne room.
"But your majesty, you know the moon goddess cannot be defied, she wants the best for us!" One of the kneeling ministers, with dark purple hair and a slightly smaller build, gained courage and said.
The queen didn’t even look at them, she waved towards one of her guards. Two men in armour stepped forward and started to drag the girl away.
"Wait! Wait! This is for the good of the kingdom! Your majesty! The moon crystals, I know where the moon crystals are!"
"STOP!"
The guards pulling the woman stopped midway and dragged her back, not caring about her humiliation.
"Continue..."
"The goddess has said she will reveal the location after your official marriage. "
The queen clicked her tongue. She had planned on torturing her for the information.
"I just need a husband yes?"
"Yes, your highness. "
"From those arrogant pricks?"
She asked again just to cement the requirements.
"Y..ees"
The woman stuttered. Lilith laughed scornfully.
’How annoying ’
She turned to the kneeling ministers.
"Send a letter to Athius kingdom, tell them I require a husband failure to deliver would result in war, if i must, I’ll take one by force."
’It won’t hurt to keep them as a pet’
"Do you ..aah.. have a specific preference?" The ministers asked.
She waved them off dismissively.
"Any would do as long as it’s obedient. Tell them not to disappoint me."
"But your majesty this is a serious matter you can not..."
"Dismissed. "
She left the throne without waiting for their answer. Things were getting more and more annoying.
....
"Your majesty, the Crown consort has been found," her advisor burst into her office a cheerful smile on his face.
Liloth rubbed the bridge of her nose in frustration. It had been two months since the stupid saintess had come with the ludicrous proposal.
She had thrown all the work to her eager ministers and forgot about it, why would she waste her time on something so meaningless when she had a kingdom to run?
She glanced up from her documents and looked up at her advisor, Zelper Aberdeen. A dark elf she had once saved from the Darkfall forest after he had been abandoned by his party.
She had accidentally passed by during her usual sports hunting and found him half dead and saved him.
How he had ended up as her advisor was beyond her. The man had worked hard to get to her level and help her in managing.
She had accepted him since he wasn’t part of the ridiculous noble factions that had risen during the contest for the crown.
"Was there anything they needed?" She asked.
Zelpher shook his head, " No your highness except for the normal betrothal gifts and a pact to maintain peace until the consort dies they have no other condition."
Lilith nodded , the conditions didn’t go beyond her means. Since she was bringing him back to her kingdom of course she had to give the best gifts to show the dark elves’ riches.
"What does the consort look like, I hope they didn’t give me some ugly thing?" She asked curiously.
No one would want a pet that didn’t look good. An ugly pet would ruin her meticulously built palace ambience.
"No, he’s considerably handsome. He has long blue hair and a beautiful face plus he’s the son of an Aetherion lord. The elven kingdom really gave you the best."
Lilith was skeptical it sounded too good to be true.
"What’s his power level?"
Zelpher avoided her eyes.
"It’s not impressive really....D class and a fire elementalist."
Lilith nodded. That didn’t sound bad, the weaker the better. Weak ones are easier to control.
