Chapter 496 - 496 Invincible: Omni-Man is the Villain, Amanda's Attempted Seduction, Eve's Disillusionment and Omni-Man Kills Darkblood.

Debbie Grayson still remembers when she met Nolan. At first, she kept some caution in the back of her mind. It was like this with everyone, whether it was the Guardians or Cecil; they had to be careful because the Viltrumite was too powerful to take lightly.

Debbie took the suit and went to visit the superhero' tailor, Arthur "Art" Rosebaum. He had the technology to analyze blood traces and their origin. Debbie grabbed her keys and waved goodbye to her house. Before getting into her car, she took one last look at her home. She knew that once she discovered the truth, her family would break apart—there would be no more Nolan, Debbie, and Mark...

Debbie got in her car and started driving. Because of the butterfly effect, she didn't have to worry about keeping Nolan away while she investigated. He was on a mission on the other side of the world and wouldn't return for several hours.

Donald had been informed that Debbie had left the house in a hurry. Though their surveillance on Omni-Man had been reduced, they still had some agents keeping track of the Graysons' location.

Debbie seemed to have a stunned look on her face while driving. 'Twenty years... two decades of saving people, two decades of lying to me, two decades of pretending that you are something you're not... Nolan, what kind of man are you? How can you wake up every day and tell me you love me?'

...

Debbie arrived at the tailor's shop and knocked on the door. When Art opened it, he greeted Debbie with joy, but when he saw her expression, the smile faded, replaced by a serious look.

"Come in, Debbie..."

Once Debbie entered, Art looked outside to make sure no one was following them. But there was a GDA agent in a car parked nearby. Also on a rooftop, there was a red demon dressed like a detective.

Darkblood took out his phone. "Boss, Debbie Grayson couldn't take it anymore..."

It had been months since Darkblood told Debbie bluntly that Omni-Man was the murderer. She had tried to forget, tried to convince herself that it wasn't true. But the seed of doubt had been planted, and slowly, she started questioning every little thing that had seemed strange in her marriage to Nolan.

"I see... keep watching and let me know when it all goes to shit"

"Understood..."

"Boss..."

"What is it, Demian?"

"It's nothing."

Darkblood hung up and remained silent. Only Allen could make this demon treat him with respect. But at the same time, Darkblood's curiosity continued to grow. Exactly who had he submitted to?

...

Art listened to Debbie's doubts in silence, without judging her or interrupting her. He offered her a cup of tea, then sighed.

"Art, do you think I'm terrible for doubting my husband?" Debbie couldn't hold back her tears.

Art was silent for a moment before speaking in a grave and somewhat melancholic tone. "I'm Nolan's friend as much as I am yours. Hearing something like this hurts, but if it's true, you have the right to know. Don't feel bad, Debbie."

"Thank you, Art... I know it's hard for you too..."

Art walked toward the suit and began to analyze it. The truth could not be hidden; the body of Green Ghost was like glass, and there were traces of her on Nolan's clothes. There were also traces of a special golden alloy, similar to the one used by War Woman, and friction marks that only came from objects moving very fast.

"But that only proves he fought with them. Couldn't it be that they attacked him first?"

Art saw the hope in Debbie's eyes. While there was no doubt Nolan killed the Guardians, there was still a possibility that it was in self-defense. But if that were the case, it wouldn't make sense for Nolan to invent a story about being attacked by an unknown person.

Fortunately for Art, he didn't need to convince Debbie. He just used a scanner to measure the oxidation level of the blood. This allowed him to determine which blood traces were the oldest, and unsurprisingly, the oldest blood was on Omni-Man's fists and hands.

Art looked at Debbie apologetically. "I'm sorry..."

"..."

Debbie sat down, trying to process this news, but there was no way to assimilate it with a clear mind. She stood up and decided to confront Nolan Grayson.

...

Allen hung up the phone and turned back to the TV, sitting on the couch with Amanda.

"Who was it?" Amanda asked, biting a cookie. Allen looked at the girl. She was wearing a pink blouse and denim shorts, clearly in relaxation mode at home.

"You know, it's hard to believe you resisted living here so much and ended up feeling more at home than I do..."

Amanda raised an eyebrow, then shrugged, "I'm a young lady, I can't just accept invitations from bad men easily, especially one who's a womanizer~"

Allen squinted at the "young lady" who had the couch full of crumbs. Months ago, she had complained when he cut her salary in half. At that point, Allen offered her a room in his apartment. She initially refused, saying she had her pride and wouldn't depend on anyone. At the end of the month, Amanda showed up with a suitcase... and she'd been living in his house for two months ever since.

Amanda noticed Allen's gaze and started crawling toward him. At this point, she already looked similar to if she were Cate's or Rogue's age.

"Come on, don't be mad~" Amanda smiled as she placed her hand on Allen's leg. "I already offered to pay you rent~ if that's not enough, we can make a deal~"

Even in the original story, Amanda would eventually appear more mature after overcoming her curse, but this time it would happen much sooner.

Allen gave her a playful tap on the forehead.

"Ouch! That's no way to treat a lady!"

"First, clean the crumbs from your mouth before trying to seduce me."

Amanda covered her mouth, realizing it was true, and felt embarrassed. It was true that she had gotten so comfortable in this place that she had become careless. Also, she had gotten so used to not having feminine appeal, making it seem like she was just a lazy and careless girl about her appearance.

'At this rate, I'll end up being like a little sister. Change of plans!'

Amanda ran to the bathroom, stripped off all her clothes, and got in the shower. Afterward, she ran to her room, dried her brown hair, and styled it. She didn't make her usual ponytail but let her hair down. She put on lingerie that who knows where she got it from, a black dress that revealed a lot of skin, and lightly applied makeup.

She looked at herself in the mirror with satisfaction. She looked like a girl getting ready for her first night out, something that would have been impossible before. Amanda checked her chest, and maybe it wasn't that impressive, but there was something.

'This is all or nothing! I won't let him go tonight!'

Amanda walked out of her room in heels and confidently headed toward the living room where the TV sound was coming from.

Her green eyes smiled, her lips adorned with light pink lipstick, and her cheeks with blush, making her look very attractive.

When she reached the living room, Amanda leaned against the frame, accentuating her butt, which now had curves, subtle, but they were there. Her smile turned provocative, and one of the straps of her dress slipped off her shoulder.

"I've been thinking, you were right~ I've been careless, so from now on, I'll act like I am a twenty-five-year-old girl, single, and quite willing to serve a good man with dedication❤️~"

*Bite*

Amanda froze. In front of her wasn't Allen, but Kate, who was eating her cookies while silently watching her and recording with her phone.

"Don't worry about me, keep going!"

Amanda trembled; she wanted to die from embarrassment. She wished the ground would swallow her whole at that very moment.

"T-you... w-why?"

"Remember when I complained to Allen that his treatment of me was worse? Well, he gave me a key to his apartment, I just don't come around much because I don't want to seem like I'm taking advantage of him..." Kate smiled mockingly, "But who would've thought I'd witness something so embarrassing? You couldn't wait a second longer before acting like a slut once your ass grew a little, huh~"

Amanda dropped to her knees, her face hidden in the shadows. "..."

"What did you say?" Kate mocked her further, "I didn't hear you~"

"I SAID I'LL KILL YOU!"

Amanda transformed into Monster Girl and attacked Kate, destroying the living room.

Rebecca and Harley were munching on popcorn while watching. Bocchi was in a panic, unsure of what to do. Allen had left them in charge of the place while he rushed off due to an emergency call from Cecil.

"Hahaha, come on, relax Bocchi~" Rebecca made her sit down in a floating movie chair while also watching the spectacle.

"B-but they'll destroy the apartment."

Harley laughed as she petted Bocchi's head.

"Don't worry, Daddy can fix it with just one word~"

Bocchi knew that was true, but they wouldn't be doing their job, so they might get scolded.

Rebecca smirked slyly, "Bocchi, our mission was to 'watch,' and that's exactly what we're doing, right?"

"Huh? Was it?" Bocchi was confused. If their job was just to watch, then technically, they weren't doing anything wrong.

Bocchi grabbed some popcorn and also watched the show. She hadn't accepted the explanation but stopped thinking and switched off her brain. Nokotan had taught her, "Bocchi-chan, if you're just going to keep giving negative and desperate thoughts, it's better to think of nothing, right?~"

Bocchi decided to stop thinking and let her future self handle the consequences.

Meanwhile, Allen had left after being called by Cecil for something important. When he returned, he found his luxurious apartment being wrecked by a green monster and a group of similarly destructive girls.

"..."

Allen's gaze shifted to the shelves with personal items he'd brought from his original world, destroyed, including some old collectible figures that now lay shattered on the floor.

Esdeath smiled with a shiver down her spine, remembering how she'd once destroyed his apartment too. She knew how hard it was to truly anger Allen and the consequences that came with it.

"Hey..." Allen spoke in a dark tone, paralyzing both girls. They looked at him in fear, realizing what they had done.

...

Eve fixed her hair as she went up in the elevator, wearing a cute skirt and blouse, with a bag full of things she had bought at the store. She was heading to her boyfriend's apartment, perhaps to hang out, maybe for something more intimate.

'Pervert...'

Despite her thoughts, she knew she had no right to call him a pervert when she was dressing so sexy to visit him.

Eve wiped her sweaty palms, grabbed a mint, and prepared herself for what was to come. As she stepped out of the elevator, she was lost in a daydream. She imagined arriving at the apartment and being greeted by a mature, attractive man who would take her inside. He'd be wearing an apron, unafraid of looking like a domestic man. After she relaxed with a glass of wine, the lights would dim, and he would reveal his true colors.

He would take off his apron, revealing he was always a wolf, kiss her passionately, and before she knew it, they'd be in his bedroom, a trap for innocent girls like her.

"Hehe❤️~"

Eve started to drool, unaware that she had been overtaken by a fantasy. However, it seemed very realistic thinking about how Allen was, and she had experienced Allen acting like this before, though he did it more as a joke towards her.

'I'm just nervous...' She knocked on the door, then remembered she had her own key and felt silly. 'Come on Eve, you're not a coward!'

"Hii Allen!~"

Eve entered the apartment with a big smile, expecting to be greeted by Allen, but when she reached the living room, she dropped her bag at the sight before her.

Amanda and Kate were dressed as maids. Amanda had a collar around her neck and a leash that was held by Allen. Kate was being used as a seat by the charming, seductive, and somewhat mischievous man she had imagined just moments before.

"What are they doing..."

Amanda lowered her head in shame. Kate trembled, and Allen, arms crossed, looked at Eve with a serious expression.

"This is a punishment..."

Albedo, watching from the doorway, tears of envy and frustration in her eyes, retorted, "No, Allen-sama, this is a reward!"

Eve leaned against the wall and then knelt, depressed. All her fantasies had been shattered, and that drained her of strength.

"S-should we still watch?" Bocchi asked her companions.

Bocchi stared stunned at the outcome. There were two embarrassed girls dressed as maids being punished and one depressed girl not far off, and let's not forget the fallen angel demon woman or whatever she was, staring like a crazy Yandere from the corner.

"Haha, what do you think? This is great!~" Harley laughed at the situation, not finding it strange at all.

Rebecca shrugged, "Home Sweet Home, Bocchi..."

"Huh..." Bocchi stopped thinking.

The Walker family, no matter the world, is always interesting...

...

Nolan flew back home. He wasn't stupid; he had felt that strange tension from Cecil whenever he saw him lately. If he suspected Omni-Man, that really didn't matter. He had already completed his mission, weakened Earth's defenses, and eliminated its protectors. The new Guardians were still young and inexperienced, though his progress with Allen Walker had made Nolan raise an eyebrow more than once.

'This can't continue...'

Nolan had thought many times that Allen's existence was something he needed to deal with, but so far, he had never made a move against him. The reason wasn't fear of Allen; although he knew Allen would be a tough opponent to beat, he just needed to stop holding back. Also, at this point, there was no need to be Omni-Man, so it didn't matter if the world saw him as a monster.

When he arrived home, he felt a coldness he hadn't felt before.

"Debbie?!"

Nolan called out to his wife, but she didn't respond. Normally, he wouldn't feel like anything was wrong. On a regular day, he would've just assumed she went out for something. But this time, it felt different...

"She's not here..."

The temperature dropped suddenly, and Nolan narrowed his eyes as he looked at Darkblood. Without saying a word, he moved at super speed and grabbed him by the neck.

"I told you not to come back to my house!"

Darkblood's eyes narrowed, a knowing smirk crossing his face as he responded, "Urgh... It's useless to kill me, and you know it..."

"I don't care if you revive, the satisfaction won't be taken from me!"

Darkblood unexpectedly smiled, "But that would ruin your carpet..."

"...!"

Nolan's eyes widened, and he released the demon, who fell to the ground, clutching his throat and coughing.

"Since when does a demon know how to joke?"

Demian Darkblood was known for his mysterious aura and cold attitude toward everything. He was not afraid to confront whoever he was to find the truth.

"Maybe I've been affected by bad influences..."

Nolan narrowed his eyes, clearly losing his patience. Darkblood understood that and stood up, looking at Nolan without fear.

"I don't want this to end badly... Omni-Man... no, Nolan Grayson, what will happen now is something no one wants, and I am the only obstacle..."

"Demon... you overestimate yourself too much..."

"For twenty years, you were a hero. For twenty years, you were a husband. For eighteen years, you were a father..."

"..."

"You are part of this world, you are a superhero, you are THE superhero. No matter your reasons, if there's a chance, don't throw your home away."

*Pierce*

"...?!"

Darkblood looked down, only to see Omni-Man's fist piercing his chest and coming out through his back.

"You're wrong, demon," with a sigh of seriousness, Nolan looked at Darkblood, "This is not my home!"

Nolan decapitated Darkblood, then floated through his living room, raising a hand and grabbing an invisible soldier. Without hesitation, he crushed the soldier's head. Bullets rained from all directions, temporarily blinding Omni-Man.

"It looks like this is the end... Cecil." Omni-Man's gaze turned cold as if he were looking at insects writhing in the dirt. A look that had never appeared on Omni-Man in his twenty years on Earth.
