Qiao Xixi followed the Wild Bull Demon Beast to the base of Stone City.
After walking for a while, she realized the demon beast wasn’t taking her to the dungeons at all.

Sunxiao’s long, red tail rose high into the air, its tip slowly descending toward Qiao Xixi’s neck like a spear.

"Mother!"
A clear, cold voice, yet still tinged with the lilt of a small child, rang out.
Both Qiao Xixi and Sunxiao froze, turning to look.
Qiao Lie ran over, shoved the dazed Sunxiao aside, and threw his arms around Qiao Xixi.
"Mother!"
Seeing Qiao Lie, Qiao Xixi hugged him back, overjoyed.
"Qiao Lie, Mother has finally found you!"
Holding her little cub in her arms, Qiao Xixi’s fear began to fade.
"Who let you in? Get out."
Sunxiao’s cold voice rang out.
