I Turned Filthy Rich Just By Sleeping With Women?!-Chapter 106: The Agreement Between Two Snakes
Chapter 106: The Agreement Between Two Snakes
The moment the call ended, Su Jinhe slammed the phone down on the marble table in the hotel lobby with a loud bang, drawing the attention of nearly everyone nearby.
"Fucking bastard! Who the hell does he think he is? Threatening me? Me?!"
"He is just a fucking gold digger, bastard!!!"
He was practically foaming at the mouth, his face red with rage. Several guests glanced at him nervously, muttering to each other.
A child clutched their mother’s hand tightly as she pulled them away from the lobby lounge.
"What are you looking at?!" Su Jinhe barked at a passing bellboy. "You want a picture?! I’ll give you one with your mother!"
"Sir, please calm down—" a receptionist tried to intervene, but Su Jinhe’s temper snapped.
"You shut the hell up too! What kind of shitty service is this?! I’ll have you all fired by the end of the day! You know who I am?!"
Security was already being called. Two suited guards emerged from the side hallway, radio in hand, but before they could reach him, a voice interrupted.
"Now, now... what’s with all the shouting, Mr. Su?"
The words rolled out smooth as whiskey, arrogant and lazy.
Su Jinhe turned sharply—recognizing the voice almost immediately.
A tall man in a tailored black suit approached with slow, confident steps. A gold pin glinted on his lapel, and a cigarette dangled from the corner of his lips.
"Chi Yufan..." Su Jinhe muttered, straightening his shirt as he quickly adjusted his expression from wrath to charm.
He knows him so well, Jin Haolong’s boss. It takes him a long time to be Chi Yufan or usually called Boss Chi acquaintance. Even so, he seemed to be far away.
"Ah, sorry, sorry, you had to see that. Some street rat was running his mouth over the phone—"
"I heard," Boss Chi chuckled, motioning for the security to stand down with a slight nod. They obeyed immediately.
"Big temper as always, eh, Mr. Su?"
"Heh... You know me," Su Jinhe grinned, trying to act familiar.
Boss Chi didn’t return the grin. His eyes lazily scanned the people still watching before he turned to the receptionist.
"Apologize to my friend here and clear out a private room upstairs. The penthouse if available." freewebnoveℓ.com
"Yes, sir. Right away," she stammered, relieved to escape the tension.
As staff scrambled to obey, Boss Chi turned his attention fully back to Su Jinhe. "Let’s talk somewhere more private. I’m curious about this phone call that got you so worked up."
Minutes later, inside a lavish private lounge, Su Jinhe downed a glass of whiskey in one gulp while Boss Chi lit another cigarette.
"So? What’s the story?" Boss Chi asked, leaning back on the velvet couch. "Someone causing trouble for you?"
Su Jinhe scowled. "My daughter’s new man. Arrogant little punk. Talking big like he owns half the city. The idiot even dared to say he would meet me in a fancy place. Me! Can you believe that?!"
Boss Chi smirked. "He got under your skin that bad?"
"He doesn’t even have money! My daughter must be feeding him. I told her to transfer me Haolong’s inheritance and she refused! And now this street rat’s giving me lip!"
At the mention of Haolong’s inheritance, Boss Chi’s eyes glinted. He finally sat up, leaning forward slightly.
"You know, Jin Haolong owed me quite a bit before he died," Boss Chi said slowly.
"And technically... he had several business assets under disputed ownership. Shares, properties... that sort of thing."
Su Jinhe blinked. "Wait, really?"
Boss Chi gave a casual shrug, "Nothing confirmed, of course. But if someone were to... secure control of those assets, especially Jin Yuexin’s share too, well, there’s a lot to gain."
He tapped the ash off his cigarette and looked Su Jinhe dead in the eye.
"Say, Mr. Su. You want your daughter’s inheritance, right? Even her late husband’s estate?"
"Damn right I do! She owes me everything she has. She wouldn’t be living like a princess if not for me!"
Boss Chi nodded slowly. "Then maybe we can help each other. You get your daughter to transfer the entire inheritance and maybe... sway Jin Yuexin too."
"And in return, I’ll make sure a nice chunk of Jin Haolong’s former shares go straight to you."
He reached for his tea, blowing over it with deliberate calm. "And in return, I’ll make sure a nice chunk of Jin Haolong’s former shares go straight to you."
Su Jinhe’s eyes narrowed. He rubbed his chin thoughtfully, though internally, he was seething.
’Greedy bastard! He wants the whole pie and throws me the crumbs? I wanted everything—not just shares! This isn’t enough!’
But despite his pride, Jinhe wasn’t completely stupid. Rejecting the offer now would mean burning bridges with a powerful man who had deep ties in the business and underground world.
Boss Chi was no friend, but he was a damn valuable stepping stone.
’Damn it... Better to play along for now. Just need to negotiate better terms.’
He cleared his throat and forced a smirk. "How much of the shares are we talking about?"
Boss Chi didn’t flinch. "Ten percent. Clean. No strings."
Jinhe raised a brow, then scowled. "Ten? That’s spare change for a deal this big. I’m doing the heavy lifting here! I’m her father, it’s me she’ll hate, not you. Make it twenty."
Boss Chi chuckled. "That depends. Can you really get her to hand over everything? No fuss, no lawyers?"
"I’ll handle it. She’s soft—always has been. And Yuexin? She’s just a sheltered brat. With the right pressure, she’ll fold too."
The room went quiet for a moment before Boss Chi spoke again. "...Fifteen. I’ll throw in a consulting position in one of my subsidiaries too—on paper, of course. You want a title? You got it."
Su Jinhe hesitated, then nodded. "Deal."
Boss Chi smiled thinly and extended his hand. They shook—firm, cold, businesslike.
"Oh, and before I go," Jinhe added, suddenly grinning like a fool, "I’d appreciate a little... upgrade to my hotel room. Something with a better view, maybe a bottle of 1999 Maotai, and, if possible, a warm body to pour it?"
Boss Chi laughed politely but his eyes were empty. "Of course. Consider it done."
Su Jinhe left the room, humming to himself like he’d won the lottery.
Once the door shut, silence returned.
Boss Chi swirled his liquor lazily before setting the cup down with a soft clink.
A moment later, his right-hand man—Zhou Liang, a sharp-eyed, snake-thin fixer with slicked-back hair—stepped out from the shadows.
Zhou scoffed. "That guy’s a damn idiot. Loud, emotional, and sloppy. You sure he’s worth the trouble?"
Boss Chi didn’t even blink. "Of course not. He’s an embarrassment."
"Then why give him anything? You practically handed him a leash."
Boss Chi smiled faintly, steepling his fingers. "Because idiots like him are useful. He thinks he’s playing me, but he’s just digging his own grave. Once Meilin and Yuexin’s assets are transferred, I’ll cut him off."
"And if he causes a scene?"
"Then I’ll bury him with the rest of the trash. Besides..." He looked at the closed door with a faint smirk.
"People like Jinhe don’t need enemies. Their own greed will be their executioner."
Zhou Liang chuckled. "So we’re letting him play king until the crown chokes him."
Boss Chi raised his glass in a mock salute. "Exactly. Let him chase his crumbs while I take the banquet."

The meeting was arranged at a high-end teahouse in the heart of the city—neutral ground, elegant, quiet.
Zhao Yiming and Su Meilin arrived first, the soft scent of jasmine and aged pu’er lingering in the air. The private room had a view of a koi pond outside, serene and still.
"I don’t like this," Zhao murmured under his breath as he poured Meilin some tea. "You need to relax, I will do the talking, he won’t dare to raise his hands to you ever again."
She nodded silently, hands gripping her skirt. She hadn’t slept well. Her father’s slap still stung—not just her cheek, but her heart.
Just then, the sliding door opened.
Su Jinhe walked in, wearing a sleek grey suit, looking clean-cut and composed. Not a hint of the shouting, spitting mess he’d been in the hotel lobby the day before. His expression softened the moment his eyes landed on Meilin.
"Meilin," he said, voice low and warm. "It’s good to see you again, sweetheart."
Su Meilin knitted his brows, following her father’s every move as he was now seated in front of her. He never talked this gently before, not even when her birthday, or not even when she got first rank in class or any competition.
It felt weird, something was not right.
He turned to Zhao Yiming and offered a slight bow. "And... this is?"
He didn’t move, didn’t even blink. "Zhao Yiming. I’m Meilin’s partner."
"Ah... Zhao Yiming." Su Jinhe smiled, a little too politely. "Nice to meet you, young man."
Both of them were speechless as the man now was different from what they imagined he would be.
