I Was a Loner, but My Class Got Summoned to Another World…-Chapter 415: Clash in Highrule Pt.2
Chapter 415: Clash in Highrule Pt.2
Logan wasn’t going to give up that easily. He was tired—true—but so was everyone else. Silis, fortunately, was still at her strongest.
He placed his hand over her leg and activated Soul Morph and Spirit Channeling, combining their stats into one.
He quickly checked them.

The numbers were high. No other creature probably reached these, except maybe a spirit. But the cost was steep. Unlike with Voltar, where Logan retained his stats, here he was sharing them with Silis.
As for his body, when fused with Silis, he hadn’t grown wings—but he had grown a long tail, doubled in height, and become both spiked and armored. His black armor still clung to him, and luckily, it was Ruben’s living armor, so it adapted with Logan. Now it stretched and melded with his newly formed dragon hide, becoming a dark shade of brown.
He didn’t have a mirror, but he was willing to bet he looked cool.
Still, without wings, it would be troublesome. So he created his angelic ones, even if they clashed with the rest of the color palette.
He took flight, using wind to guide his new, powerful—but heavy—body. It was like trying to lift a mountain, but that wasn’t a bad thing.
Logan readied himself to crash into the thick of the demons once again.
This time, he let Silis guide him first. He had been too hasty when he merged with Voltar, and it had cost him dearly.
Who better to learn from than a real dragon?
[Go ahead, Silis. You attack first, then I’ll follow. Teach me what a real dragon is.]
Logan sent the thought through the Empathic Link.
Silis answered with a thunderous roar, the vibrations of it echoing through his fused body.
She went full force from the start, whipping many with her tail. This took out more than a dozen soldiers—they were scared now.
Who wouldn’t be? A large carnivore, almost eight meters long.
The dragon had previously only attacked from below, but now she was right in front of them. frёewebnoѵel.ƈo๓
Logan felt how Silis was looking out into the distance, then called out,
[Terra, move. Will use large-scale magic.]
He heard Silis call to the large wyrm. The creature quickly moved away, and Silis concentrated on a specific spot near the bottom of the demon formation—not at the top, but somewhere deep. Her tail and arms continued to swat away enemies even as she focused her mana.
As soon as Ferra popped out to help, Logan felt it—the massive pressure from both creatures. It suddenly began to glow.
Silis had used Terra Explosion, causing an earthquake that tore through the demon ranks and even collapsed their escape route. This was dangerous. Now they would have to fight to the end.
The ones who didn’t flinch were the beetle-like creatures. They seemed prepared, their earth-aligned bodies repelling most of the damage.
They were not, however, immune to Silis being directly in front of them, and she crushed them like eggs.
It was then that Logan noticed Orus and Lisa struggling. She was no longer using magic to blow away Zaryx.
Logan rushed to take back his body from Silis and pressed forward to help.
Just as Zaryx was about to punch Lisa and knock her to the ground, Logan struck him, swatting him toward the right side of the field near the queen beetle. He would need to finish both enemy commanders at once. And now, with his mana still fresh, it was the perfect moment.
Zaryx, caught off guard, had been only one step away from smashing the annoying saintess.
The girl had kept healing, again and again, breaking through his defenses—and when she wasn’t the one attacking, her strange bird was. The four-legged beast had even managed to scrape away parts of his armor, leaving him without protection on his legs and left arm. His chest had been cracked.
Now that he was sent flying by the tail slap, he felt it—far more than just his armor had been damaged.
Logan quickly used the wind element to rush toward Zaryx’s position. Wayana, Wohan, Ruben, and Irma were still struggling with the queen beetle, but Logan had a new plan for that creature. As he had considered before, he would weaken her so badly that she’d be forced to accept his taming contract.
Second, he would use her to turn the other beetles into his allies.
Logan smashed Zaryx before the demon could rise, slamming him directly toward the beetle queen. She raised one of her legs and blocked the impact, then casually threw the demon aside, showing no concern for her supposed ally.
Logan was pleased by this. It was a good step in the right direction.
He activated Amber Spearfield, summoning nine fast-moving spears and hurling them at the two commanders. These weren’t ordinary weapons—they exploded on impact like missiles. And they did just that, detonating at the point between Zaryx and the queen beetle, blasting them both further back.
[Ruben, help the warks and goblins! Let me handle these two!] Logan ordered through the link. The mech squad acknowledged with one final barrage, launching a parting bombardment at the generals before disengaging.
"Nice..." Logan muttered, appreciating the added damage. The two generals, however, didn’t seem overly disturbed.
Zaryx rose to his feet and brushed himself off. The large demon noticed his armor was now dented and barely offering any protection. Without hesitation, he tore it off and tossed it aside.
The beetle queen also reacted. She ripped off one of her own arms—likely damaged beyond use—and let out a shrieking hiss.
"Alright," Logan said coldly. "Let’s end this now. I’m tired of you coming back over and over again, Zaryx. I’ll give you a choice before your death: surrender as my tamed—or die."
The large demon stared at him and shrugged.
"If it comes to that, why not... but don’t expect an easy outcome."
