I was Kidnapped for Revenge by a Ruthless Alpha-Chapter 87: Ursula’s Travels
Chapter 87: Ursula’s Travels
~THIRD PERSON POV~
Ursula’s flight seemed to take forever, but finally when she arrived.
It was Raven who met her at the airport.
"Ursula!" Raven yelled holding a sign that had Ursula BlackBay written on it.
Raven was one of the girls that she rescued the night of the massacre.
"Wow, Raven, you’ve grown so much, how old are you now?" Ursula was shocked to see how big Raven was now, the last time she saw her Raven was still a child.
Raven stood before her tall and built, she looked like a grown woman, and she was beautiful, her shoulder length purple hair glistened in the sunlight.
"I know, I’m all grown up now." Raven said proudly.
"You sure are." Ursula smiled sweetly.
"So how is everything here in the capital?" Ursula asked casually.
Raven wanted to tell Ursula everything that has been happening. But she knew if she spoke of the alpha’s business, before he had the chance to tell her, he’d ignore her and maybe even ban her from the council. Ambrose hated gossip and the discussion of his private life.
"A lot, but I’ll let Ambrose fill you in." She said reluctantly.
Ursula could hear the frustration in Raven’s tone but respected what she said and didn’t push further.
Whatever it was, it probably wasn’t good. ƒгeeweɓn૦vel.com
The remained of the drive back to the palace from the airport Ursula filled the silence was stories of her students and her trips over the years. She’d travel sometimes to different countries and visit their museum’s. She just wanted to fill the silence and distract Raven from whatever she wanted to tell her but didn’t.
Ursula knew how Ambrose could be, how strict and stern he ruled. And pissing him off was the last thing anyone should want to do. Ambrose was built different. The massacre did something to him, hollowed him in a way that made him numb to empathy. He had no quells about killing and torturing people.
When they arrived at the palace Raven pulled up to the front door and parks. She looks over to Ursula and says "Ambrose will be back soon; he had business he was attending to in the north with the ColdMoon pack. Sorry he won’t be here to greet you." And then she got out the car and helped Ursula gather her things in silence.
Ursula was a little mad about him requesting her so soon and not even being here to greet her upon her arrival.
"When will he be here?" Ursula asked.
"In about 2 hours, so you have some time to settle in and unpack." Raven answered, she tried to keep her voice at a neutral tone, however Ursula noticed she sounded conflicted about his return, but left it alone, something was weird between the two of them, she could sense that much.
"I’ll take you to your room, now." Raven answered.
"Thank you." Ursula replied.
Walking through the palace, Ursula was impressed. The place was immaculate and changed a lot. Still maintaining it’s classic style he altered the colors changing them to red and white and gold. Painting hung on the wall. It was so clean and regal. She knew his mother Luna Queen Selene would have been proud.
Raven lead Ursula down a few halls on the first floor.
She stopped and unlocked the door, unhooked the key from her ring and handed over to Ursula and said "This is your room, decorate how you like, you might be here awhile. We’ll meet up later. I have things I’ll need to do the rest of the day.?
She paused and looked at Ursula, "I swear I’m not avoiding you, I actually do, I have a second training session and work later this evening, so tomorrow, we’ll catch up over some coffee, kay?"
Ursula nodded and said, "Yeah, sounds good." And went inside her room.
She was taken aback by the size and look of what was now her room, it was bare, mostly, but everything was catered to her taste. She smiled when she saw the newly installed bookshelf in the corner with a green velvet chair. The room was simple, but cozy. The furniture was a dark oak instead of the soft white she has back home. Her bed had a thick green velvet comforter with decorative pillows. The room had a vanity and a large standing mirror, with a small empty walk-in closet.
It was perfect for her.
Ursula started unpacking, putting her books on the shelf and her jewelry and in the vanity. Hung and folded her clothes in the closet. By the time she was done unpacking she got a knock on the door.
Opening she was greeted by Hector.
"Hey, Hector, long time no see." Ursula said.
"Yeah, you look great." He answered with a surprised smile. He wasn’t lying, she looked good even for a woman in her later 30’s.
"Thanks, you’re so tall now. Last time I saw you, you were a teenager, my how you’ve grown." Ursula remarked.
"I know, crazy? Huh?" Hector joked.
"Sure is." Ursula laughed.
"I’m here to escort you to the alpha king’s office. Mind coming with me." He asked.
"Oh, good he’s back, yes, please, lead the way, Hector." Ursula gestured toward the hall, and together they left her room and walked to Ambrose’s office.
When they arrived, Hector knocked on the double doors.
"Come in." A deep voice said from behind the doors.
Hector opened the door and Ursula hurried in.
She was excited to see how much Ambros had grown since she last saw him.
And when her found him, she was amazed by his good looks. He was incredibly tall, his clothes hugged his biceps, showing off his fit physic. His jaw was strong and his eyes the same golden as his fathers. Despite the horrors of his past, his eyes still held the same beauty she saw in them when he was a child.
Ambrose’s smile widened when he saw Ursula walk through the door with Hector. He pulled her in close for a hug.
"You are way too handsome for your own good. Oh, if your mother could see what a man her son grew into. How’s Onyx?" Ursula asked, releasing Ambrose and taking a seat on the chase.
"He’s good, actually, he’s better than ever honestly." Ambrose laughed, thinking about how lovesick he’s been over Odette.
"I’m so happy to hear that Aarica has been pretty lazy, honestly." Ursula admitted. "So why did you ask me here? Especially so suddenly and how long am I staying?"
"I need a teacher, I have a guest in my home that needs a teacher, one that I can trust. And you are the only person I can think of. She should be here any minute. I should warn you though, she is a vampire." Ambrose explained to Ursula.
Ambrose decided to withhold the information of her whole identity. He figured with her living disconnected from the world and staying to herself and her pack, she didn’t know about his kidnapping of a royal vampire princess. And probably didn’t even know the Drakarys family had a child.
However, seconds later. Odette walked through the door, wearing the same clothes she had on earlier from her travels.
Ursula’s entire world stopped the minute she saw Odette.
"Ooh My Goddess, Ambrose what did you do?"
