Chapter 184: Chapter 184: Official Delegation of Alpha Corp

The Branch Manager glanced left, and saw a group waiting, which looked to be wearing the clothes of Alpha Corp.

"That is..." The group was stationed before a ship which shared the symbol of the Alpha Corp.

It was the official entourage of the Alpha Corp, which was accompanied by tens of ships, all more powerful than the unmarked dumpster that they had been flying.

"What are they doing here?" The Branch Manager asked.

"It’s the official delegation of the Alpha Corp, on their way to the Intergalactic Court of Justice to plead our case. Haven’t we always been traveling with them? Do you even need to ask?"

Leo casually shrugged. Only then did the man realize what was going on, and the reason that they only turned their communicators on.

This place... was an official stop of the Alpha Corp. As per the traces, they were always supposed to be here.

After all, as per legal records, they were always meant to be on those ships. And those same records were evidence that they had nothing to do with the Lionel Family’s misfortune.

After all, they had left their space sector before the kidnapping.

On the way out, the delegation had taken a separate route that was longer but more comfortable.

They even stopped on quite a few intermediary stations to give Leo a chance to catch up. Everything had progressed as per plan.

"Now shall we have some drinks and check the news?"

Leo smirked, as he went deeper into the space station, checking the news on his communicator.

Meanwhile, Ulen was carrying their ’drunk friend’ with them, loudly scolding him.

"If you can’t hold your alcohol, why do you drink so much?" He loudly claimed, making sure that people around him could hear him.

He carried the old man to the bar, where such people weren’t rare.

For a few hours, Leo stayed in the bar, before returning. In the bar, he met another person, and casually switched the keys of the ships.

However, on his way back, he didn’t return to his ship. He casually took a different direction, and entered the official ship of the Alpha Corp, as if it was perfectly normal.

In any case, the two ships shared the same boarding point, only diverging near the end. So even if someone was to check the cameras of the main hub, they didn’t know which ship one came from, and from which one left.

The person that Leo had handed over the key, took the same route, but entered the dumpster of the ship, taking it to have it recycled.

"Welcome back, Lord Leo." Inside the ship, Leo was greeted by the staff of the Alpha Corp.

Most of them were dressed in professional black attire, which included a black coat, white shirt, a tie and black pants.

However, Leo knew that it was beyond ordinary clothes. It was the new battle suit that the Alpha Labs had developed, which could change shape.

The clothes were marked with the Symbol of Alpha Corp. Moreover, quite a few people in the group belonged to the Alpha Bank, working under the same parent company.

Without wasting much time, Alpha Corp’s Delegation also departed. However, this time, he really felt like a big person.

After all, he wasn’t flying in an illegal ship that would overheat at fast speeds. His new ship was an official creation, and was only enhanced further with the latest tech.

It wasn’t wrong to say that this ship could easily keep up with the Lionel Family Ships, and travel at three times the fastest speed than the one he had been flying.

The ship was being escorted by multiple ships. There were four battleships before the main ship. Four in the back, and one on either side, creating a shield.

"Finally I can relax, and I don’t have to worry about piloting a ship that can blow up at any time."

The person who was the happiest, was none other than the Branch Manager of Alpha Bank, who had to pilot that unstable ship all this time.

There was a comfortable smile on his face as he went to his private room to have a long sleep.

Meanwhile, Ulen was also allowed to leave for his private room, but while carrying the Lionel Family Head who was still passed out and under a disguise.

It was Ulen’s responsibility to handle that man, since he could control a variety of magic. Moreover, Leo didn’t feel comfortable giving this task to a hothead like Yang.

At last, Leo also returned to his ship. Finally, he could also relax, as he had been the one most stressed throughout this journey.

He couldn’t even believe that he was successful. He had kidnapped the wealthiest man in their space sector from right under their noses. He had even robbed them clean.

All it took was a fake ship and tons of confidence. The more he thought about it, the more proud he felt.

Finally, his months of waiting were over. His plan had been completed. Now the only thing that was left was to see the Lionel Family fall apart.

He pulled up his official communicator, and started checking the news.

The headlines that were previously overwhelmed by his name, were dominated by the Lionel Family’s case now.

Many news sites were openly asking if this was the end of a giant like the Lionel Family.

Many prominent people were giving interviews about this situation. However, amidst all this, there was also news about some potential suspects.

Of course, it was only a vague list of suspicious people that had ulterior motives. It included the CEOs of prominent competing banks.

However, the list didn’t include his name. It was clear that no media house wanted to drag the sympathy child to this argument, and hit their own head with backlash.

In any case, many people knew that Reo Vanderlen had long left this space sector.

"Hmm? A message from Blaze?"

Leo suddenly noticed a message from Blaze that was buried under the notifications.

As he read the notification, he frowned.
