Immortal God of War-Chapter 750 - 715: Qin Yue and Qin Xi_1
Because inside this censer lay the leaves of a herb named ’Spring Grass’. When these Spring Grass leaves were dried and burned in the censer, the rising smoke carried a subtly sweet fragrance. This mysterious fragrance was known to arouse passions. Thus, this was clearly a place for indulging in lust.
Qin Feiyang was preparing to leave in a rage, but at that moment, the middle-aged woman chuckled, "Master Qin, once the ladies are done bathing and changing, they will come to attend to you in bed. Please wait a moment."
After speaking, she promptly closed the door.
Qin Feiyang’s anger boiled over. Everything has been stated so clearly. If I still don’t understand, I’d be a fool.
However, just as he reached the door, preparing to storm out, he suddenly lowered his arm. I have a fair understanding of Lu Xingchen; it’s impossible for him to do something so pointless. Could he be hinting at something? Or perhaps, these so-called attendants have some connection to him?
Thinking this, he decided to stay. He went into the bedroom, extinguished the Spring Grass leaves in the censer, then entered the tea room, sat down, and stared at the tightly shut door.
Time slowly trickled by. About an hour later, Qin Feiyang was almost asleep when the door finally opened. Two women, dressed in long pink dresses, entered one after the other.
Hearing the movement, Qin Feiyang rubbed his eyes and looked up. He hadn’t expected this at all. He immediately leapt to his feet, his face filled with utter disbelief!
How could it be them? I must be seeing things.
He mumbled this inwardly, vigorously rubbed his eyes, and looked again.
Impossible!
This time, his hands clenched tightly, his eyes radiating a shocking, baleful aura.
Both women were exceedingly stunning. Their delicate skin looked as if it could be broken with a flick of a finger. Their long, fair legs, tantalizingly visible beneath their pink dresses, were captivating. Their large, bright eyes shimmered like autumn pools. Their faces bore no trace of makeup, appearing entirely natural. Compared to the heavily made-up women outside, they were like Heavenly Immortals.
"Master Qin."
After closing the door, the two women entered the tea room and bowed to Qin Feiyang. Qin Feiyang, however, seemed not to have heard, his eyes fixed on them. Seeing this, both women felt a surge of revulsion, though they hid it well.
"Master Qin, the night is long. It’s time to rest."
The two women stepped forward, took Qin Feiyang’s arm, and began to lead him toward the bed. But just as they entered the bedroom, Qin Feiyang snapped out of his stupor, hastily retreated two steps, and said, "Wait."
"What is it?" both women asked, looking at him in puzzlement.
Qin Feiyang said, "Tell me, what are your names?"
"Names?" Both women were stunned.
One of them replied, "Master, you may call us Xi’er and Yue’er."
Qin Feiyang said, "I want to hear your real names."
Upon hearing this, the women lowered their heads, their eyes welling with tears.
Qin Feiyang was silent for a moment. He walked towards them, lifted their chins to look at their faces, his gaze gradually softening.
"You don’t want to reveal your real names because you don’t want to bring shame to the Fourteenth Highness, is that it?" he asked.
At his words, the two women trembled, and tears suddenly streamed down their faces.
"Tell me, why?" Qin Feiyang pressed. "Why are you here at the Fragrant Moon Tower? And why are you displayed like objects, for those men to bid on and defile?"
The softness in his gaze vanished, replaced once more by sharpness. The women dared not meet his eyes and lowered their heads, tears continuing to flow silently.
Seeing the tearstains on their faces, a fierce anger surged within Qin Feiyang. He roared, "Qin Yue, Qin Xi, tell me, why?!"
Yes, these two women were none other than the attendants who had once served by his side: Qin Yue and Qin Xi.
Back then, when he was expelled from the Imperial Capital, the two girls were around fifteen or sixteen. Though years had passed, their appearances hadn’t changed drastically. That was why he had recognized them at first glance. He had always treated them like older sisters, privately calling them Sister Yue and Sister Xi.
But he had never imagined that after more than a decade, they would reunite here, and under such circumstances! That they had fallen to become courtesans of the Fragrant Moon Tower – how could he not be furious?
After a very long time, Qin Xi and Qin Yue wiped away their tears.
Qin Yue forced a smile. "Master, this is our private affair. Please do not pry."
Her smile was stiff, and Qin Feiyang noticed an undeniable pain in their eyes, a pain they struggled to conceal.
Qin Feiyang took a deep breath, walked into the tea room, sat by the tea table, and said, "Sit down. Let’s talk."
"This..." The two women exchanged a look, their eyes filled with suspicion. Didn’t this man come here for pleasure? Why does he show no sign of it?
Qin Feiyang stated expressionlessly, "I don’t want to say it a second time."
The women shivered and obediently sat across from him.
Seeing them in their current state, Qin Feiyang felt a pang of heartache. "Tell me," he said, "why are you in the Fragrant Moon Tower?"
"Master..." Qin Xi began, but Qin Feiyang cut her off with a shout, "Speak!" His patience was wearing thin.
Both women kept their heads lowered, silent.
"Back then, the Fourteenth Royal Prince gave you your names and treated you like family! Is this how you repay him?" Qin Feiyang could no longer contain his anger. He slammed his hand on the tea table and roared.
"We didn’t want this either!" Qin Xi and Qin Yue finally burst out, their own anger ignited by Qin Feiyang’s accusations. "We know we are disgracing His Highness! But this was an order from the Eldest Prince! What choice did we have?"
They glared at Qin Feiyang, their faces etched with grievance and helplessness. 𝗳𝚛𝗲𝕖𝕨𝕖𝗯𝚗𝚘𝕧𝕖𝗹.𝗰𝗼𝕞
"What? The Eldest Prince?" Qin Feiyang abruptly stood up.
"Yes," one of them affirmed. "Over a decade ago, after the Fourteenth Highness had his cultivation crippled and was banished from the Imperial Palace, the Eldest Prince forcibly violated us. To further retaliate against His Highness, he forced us into the Fragrant Moon Tower to serve those disgusting men. We’ve thought of death many times, but he threatened us with our families. We had no choice!"
The two women clung to each other, weeping bitterly, an air of deep sorrow enveloping them.
Hearing this, Qin Feiyang trembled from head to toe, a horrifying realization dawning: this was all because of him. That damned Eldest Prince! To not even spare my former attendants... He’s unforgivable!
He looked down at the two women, his eyes filled with guilt.
I’m sorry, he thought, returning to his seat. After a moment of contemplation, he said, "Go get the madam."
"Huh?" The two women immediately looked up, their tear-stained faces turned towards him.
"Hurry," Qin Feiyang urged with a smile.
Seeing the smile on his face, the women suddenly felt a strange sense of familiarity.
Qin Yue wiped away her tears, then said to Qin Xi, "Xi’er, you go get the madam. I have a few questions for Master Qin."
"Alright." Qin Xi nodded, rose, and walked out of the tea room. She opened the door, went out, and then closed it.
Qin Yue turned her gaze back to Qin Feiyang and asked hesitantly, "Master, may I ask how you knew that His Highness treated us like family back then?"
"I heard it from someone," Qin Feiyang replied.
"Not many people knew about the true nature of our relationship with His Highness. Most only knew us as his attendants," Qin Yue pressed, her eyes watchful. "Who did you hear it from, Master?"
Qin Feiyang directly produced the Crown Prince’s token.
"What? You’re one of the Eldest Prince’s men?" Seeing the Crown Prince’s token, Qin Yue paled in alarm.
"Yes," Qin Feiyang said with a smile. "But don’t be afraid. I won’t hurt you."
SQUEAK.
Just then, the door opened, and Qin Xi entered, followed by the middle-aged woman. Qin Feiyang immediately put away the Crown Prince’s token.
"Master Qin, what’s the matter?" the middle-aged woman asked with a smile as she entered and approached Qin Feiyang. "Were they not attentive enough? Tell me, and I’ll be sure to punish them severely."
"Don’t get so close," Qin Feiyang said, his brow furrowing in distaste.
The smile on the middle-aged woman’s face froze. She stepped back a few paces and chuckled nervously, "Master..."
Qin Feiyang waved his hand dismissively. "Enough talk. Name your price."
"Name a price?" The middle-aged woman was taken aback. Qin Xi and Qin Yue also looked at Qin Feiyang, puzzled.
"I want to take them with me," Qin Feiyang stated flatly.
"Take them away?" The middle-aged woman was completely stupefied. Recovering, she hurriedly said, "Master, that’s impossible."
"Why?" Qin Feiyang frowned.
"Qin Yue and Qin Xi’s backgrounds are not simple. They were placed in the Fragrant Moon Tower by someone influential," the middle-aged woman quickly explained. "And that person is someone neither you nor I can afford to offend."
Qin Feiyang’s brow furrowed deeply. The person the madam was referring to was clearly the Eldest Prince. But he was determined to take Qin Yue and Qin Xi with him today!
His face turned cold. "If you can’t make the decision, then get your owner."
"Disturb the owner?" Qin Yue and Qin Xi exclaimed, alarmed, and looked as if they were about to speak.
Qin Feiyang raised his hand, his gaze fixing on the madam, sharp as a blade. "Didn’t you hear me? Go and bring your owner!"
"Alright, alright, I’ll go at once!" Her gaze flickering with fear, the madam turned and scurried out.
"Master, thank you for your kindness, but this matter is too involved. We hope you won’t bring trouble upon yourself for our sake," Qin Yue quickly cautioned.
"Don’t worry," Qin Feiyang said with a faint smile. "This fire can’t burn me." He then took out an Image Crystal Stone and sent a message to Zhuge Mingyang.
「Soon.」
Zhuge Mingyang’s illusion materialized. Simultaneously, images of Qin Feiyang, Qin Yue, and Qin Xi appeared before Zhuge Mingyang.
Upon seeing Qin Yue and Qin Xi, Zhuge Mingyang paused for a moment, then chuckled. "Brother Qin, quite the connoisseur, I see, visiting the Fragrant Moon Tower."
"Life is short; one must naturally enjoy it while one can," Qin Feiyang replied with a faint smile. "I’m troubling Brother Zhuge this time. Please inform His Highness the Eldest Prince that I wish to take Qin Yue and Qin Xi with me."
"Take them with you?" Zhuge Mingyang paused again. "Do you know who they are?"
"I do," Qin Feiyang nodded. "They were once attendants to the Fourteenth Royal Prince."
Zhuge Mingyang frowned, puzzled. "Why do you want to take them?"
"Well..." Qin Feiyang coughed drily and said with a grin, "I’ve taken a liking to them, but the Fragrant Moon Tower refuses to let them go. So, I can only trouble His Highness the Eldest Prince."
"This could be tricky. I’ll speak with His Highness the Eldest Prince and get back to you," Zhuge Mingyang said before deactivating the Image Crystal Stone.
