Immortality Starts From Making Money.-Chapter 352: Leaving the Continent - Part 3
Southern Region.
Inside the Thousand Wealth Chamber, Broken Blade and the two other powerhouses wore looks of confusion on their faces.
"Young Master, why do you summon us?" Broken Blade asked calmly. 𝙛𝓻𝒆𝓮𝒘𝙚𝙗𝒏𝙤𝙫𝓮𝒍.𝓬𝒐𝙢
Beside him, the Qiu clan’s First Ancestor and the Lotus Sword Sect Ancestor stood with equal gravity about them.
Mo Jian looked at them for a moment, then drew three blood-and-soul contracts from his storage pouch.
"Before I speak, please sign these contracts," he said in a grave voice.
Instantly, the three powerhouses felt the weight of the situation. They glanced at one another, then each took a contract.
In his younger days, Mo Jian might not have been able to create a blood-and-soul contract that could bind a Nascent Soul Powerhouse, but now—
With his current cultivation, he had nothing to fear.
Reading the documents, they realized they were merely non-disclosure and protection contracts.
Although the three were puzzled by such drastic measures, they did not hesitate. They signed the contracts with their blood.
With the contracts signed, the Lotus Sword Sect Ancestor couldn’t wait to ask.
"Young Master, what is this secret? Can you tell us what is going on?"
Mo Jian nodded. "Senior, I think we’ve found a way out of the continent." He declared calmly.
Hmm?!
The three seniors froze for a moment.
They leaned forward, trying to register what they had just heard.
"Y-Young Master, are you serious?" the Qiu First Ancestor asked with a trembling voice.
"Why would I lie to you?" Mo Jian replied with confident calm. "But this information must never leave this room."
Hearing this, their faces shifted from shock into bubbling excitement. Never in their wildest dreams had they imagined receiving such news.
Since the Barren Land exploration had come to an abrupt halt, most of them had already given up.
But now...
"Young Master, can you tell us where?" the Lotus Sword Sect Ancestor asked excitedly.
"I can’t," Mo Jian shook his head. "You just have to know that we might have found a way out of this prison."
Ah!
Seeing Mo Jian still keeping secrets, the Lotus Sword Sect Ancestor was stunned for a moment before a look of realization appeared on his face.
"I understand..." he nodded.
He was not angry at Mo Jian for keeping it secret. This only proved that this path might be the real path.
"You three are the leaders of the continent. That’s why I share this news with you," Mo Jian continued. "For this journey, I’m taking five seniors along. With you three seniors, there are only two spots left."
"For the two spots, I’ll let you seniors decide."
"As for Peak Golden Core, you will also be responsible for it. Each senior will bring three." He explained.
Listening to him, the three seniors were ecstatic.
"Young Master, thank you for sharing such a great opportunity with us," the Lotus Sword Sect Ancestor said, his voice filled with genuine appreciation.
Broken Blade and the Qiu First Ancestor also expressed their thanks.
"In five days, everyone must be here," Mo Jian added gravely. "Please don’t discuss this with anyone. Only those willing to embark on a long-distance journey should be chosen, and their characters must be trustworthy."
"Moreover, they must have families," he added.
The seniors nodded and thanked him once again before they departed.
They could not hide their joy.
Mo Jian sat in the conference room for a moment before Zhao Tian and Qiu Yan entered.
"Young Master," Zhao Tian called with a bright smile.
"Take your seat." Mo Jian gestured to the chairs.
Qiu Yan sat on his right, beside him, while Zhao Tian sat on his left.
"Zhao Tian, when I’m not around, you’ll be in charge of the Thousand Wealth Chamber," he said slowly, but the seriousness in his voice was evident to the two.
Zhao Tian and Qiu Yan looked at each other in confusion. Why did it feel like their Young Master was preparing for a long journey? they wondered.
Even though they had that thought in their minds, they knew not to pry for information. If he wanted to tell them, he would have done so.
"Qiu Yan will assist you. You two will have to work together," he continued. "I trust both of you, and I know you won’t disappoint me."
"Young Master, thank you for trusting me with such a huge responsibility," Zhao Tian replied with a deep bow. "I promise not to disappoint you."
Mo Jian nodded with an encouraging smile. After giving them a few more instructions, he dismissed them.
Left alone with her fiancé, Qiu Yan couldn’t help but feel worried.
"Young Master, is everything all right?" Mo Jian asked and commanded softly. "Come..."
Qiu Yan rose from her seat and sat on his lap, wrapping her arm around his waist.
"In my absence, keep an eye on everything. Also, watch out for the Barren Land, the Desert of Fallen, and the Endless Sea," he advised, his expression serious.
"Young Master, I’ll follow your instructions," she replied with a firm nod.
She could feel her fiancé was about to embark on an important journey.
Pleased with her response, Mo Jian lifted her chin and placed a gentle kiss on her lips.
Her cheek flushed, but she leaned forward for more.
The kiss deepened as they shared the unspoken feelings between them. They parted only when they could no longer catch their breath.
Just then, the door creaked open, and the Frost Moon Sect Master entered.
Her step faltered when she saw Qiu Yan seated on Mo Jian’s lap. Her cheeks turned crimson, and her aloof expression faltered.
"Come here..." Mo Jian said with a light smile.
Hm. Hmm.
She nodded and walked calmly toward him, her heart pounding in her chest.
She sat on his second lap, lowering her head in shyness. She already knew Qiu Yan was Mo Jian’s woman and was prepared.
But she never expected they would meet in such a situation.
"Sister, let us take care of each other in the future," Qiu Yan said with a bright smile as she extended her hand to gently hold the Frost Moon Sect Master’s hand.
The Frost Moon Sect Master nodded shyly.
Seeing them both, Mo Jian was pleased and wrapped his arm around their waists, drawing them closer to his chest.
’Now, I can leave without worry,’ he thought.
