Chapter 14 - Monster who came out of the forest

In a broken carriage, now surrounded by ten huge high-level demonic monsters, chaos reigned.

A few martial artist guards were still standing, desperately protecting a beautiful woman beside them.

This woman was the depiction of western beauty—blonde hair, blue eyes, delicate features, and skin as white as snow without a single blemish.

She wore a light blue dress adorned with countless accessories, signaling her wealth and status.

"How are you martial artists so weak? My father spent so much money recruiting all of you wastes!" Ana screamed, her voice filled with fury.

Ana was livid, seeing the guards she hired unable to take down even one high-level demonic beast.

But what did she expect? A peak Body Refining Realm martial artist was no match for these monsters. Each of them was five times stronger, and sheer numbers wouldn't make a difference against such brute force.

The martial artists clenched their jaws, anger boiling inside them. Her beauty vanished in their eyes the moment her true, spoiled nature was revealed.

'Fuck, if martial artists could get stronger than the Body Refining Realm, we'd make these Devas our dogs,' one of the guards thought bitterly.

This thought echoed in the minds of all the guards, but none dared voice it aloud. After all, Ana didn't travel alone—she had a powerful Deva protecting her.

...

A few meters away, two Devas were locked in battle.

Dark red and blinding white energy collided, shaking the ground and tearing apart nearby trees.

"Damn it, how did you disguise yourself as a guard?!" Butler Victor cursed, swinging his blade at the Abyssal Deva who had infiltrated the caravan.

The Abyssal Deva, his black robes fluttering from the force of his aura, sneered. "This battle is already over. The Lionheart City Lord will pay for his sins!"

"How dare he destroy one of our Lord's strongholds!" the Abyssal Deva roared in fury.

He, a peak Flow Realm Deva, easily overpowered Butler Victor, pushing him into a corner.

"You traitors of the human race don't deserve any sympathy!" Victor growled, recalling how the Abyssal Devas had destroyed one of the towns under Lionheart City's protection.

The attackers had been followers of the Controller of the Blood Realm—the Abyssal Blood God. They were infamous for their cruelty, known for massacring entire populations just to drain their blood.

"They're nothing but fucking lunatics," Victor spat.

"Heh, old fuck, enough of this nonsense. The daughter of your city lord will suffer something unimaginable today." The Abyssal Deva's face twisted into a wicked grin as a blood-red spear materialized in his hand.

"Blood God Spear—Condense!"

"Not good!" Victor's heart raced as he sensed the overwhelming power gathering.

'God of Light, Protector of the Empire of Solaris, I offer ten years of my life for your blessing,' Victor prayed, clutching a sun-shaped pendant close to his chest.

Before the blood spear could strike, a radiant shield of light materialized, blocking the deadly attack.

But the Abyssal Deva cackled. "Old fuck, you fell for it! Who said that was my final move?"

Victor's eyes widened in horror.

"Lady Ana, RUN! NOW!" Victor bellowed, his voice filled with desperation as he felt his life force fading.

"Too late, old fuck. Sleep now."

Another blood spear formed, faster this time, and before Victor could react, it pierced straight through him. Blood sprayed into the air as he crumpled to the ground, lifeless.

The five remaining martial artist guards exchanged looks of sheer panic.

"Captain Ron, let's leave this bitch behind! That Deva's dead, and the Abyssal Deva isn't targeting us!" one guard shouted, his voice trembling with fear.

Before Ron could respond, a deep, thunderous voice echoed across the battlefield.

"Little Red, it's time for you to evolve. Not only did we get a walking map, but we've also scored ten high-level demonic cores."

Little Red didn't reply. Instead, he leaped from Wuji's shoulder, his small body expanding mid-air until he stood as a towering 3-meter Infernal Ape.

The guards and Ana stood frozen in shock as a massive, robed figure stepped into the open, casually tossing aside a demonic beast like it was nothing.

"We're fucked."

"I'm so done. Just kill me already."

"Being born a martial artist is too damn cruel. We can't even compete with low-level demonic beasts unless we train for ten years."

"If there's a martial artist in this world who can dethrone the Devas, I'll worship him as my God," one guard muttered in pure defeat, slumping to the ground.

"YOU... what are you all doing?! Protect me from this monster!" Ana shrieked, her voice trembling.

But no one listened.

Little Red was already tearing through the ten high-level demonic beasts, turning them into chunks of blood and gore with every punch.

"FUCK YOU, BITCH!" the five remaining guards shouted in unison, their pent-up rage exploding as they glared at Ana.

Ana's jaw dropped in shock. No one had ever dared speak to her like that before.

"Who said martial artists are weak? Don't include me in your failures," Wuji's voice thundered as he casually approached, his dark aura expanding.

He gestured towards ana lazily. "You—come here."

Ana staggered forward, horror etched into her face. "P-please, great Deva, don't kill me! My father is a powerful Deva—he'll kill you if I die!"

Wuji snorted. "You five were right. She's an actual bitch."

His gaze then shifted to the tree line. "Come out, little rat. This prey's mine."

A robed figure, trembling violently, stepped out from behind the tree.

Wuji's gaze locked onto him, and in that instant, the man's mind was consumed by a horrifying vision—a vast, empty void, and in its center, an immense whale-like shadow, its entire body lined with rows of endless jagged teeth.

"Sir, which God do you serve? This is an important mission for the Blood God Sect!" the robed man stammered, barely able to hold himself upright.

Wuji's grin widened.

"I serve no God," he said with disdain "But tell your Blood God after you die to wash his neck"
