Chapter 171: Intent of the Radiant Monarch

"ARRGHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!"

Malworon couldn’t help but roar in agony as the ray slowly began corrupting his body!

Rahu watched curiously; his eyes didn’t leave the figure for even a single instance.

The tiers of physique were divided into three or four grades. The lowest being a Mortal Grade physique, Earth Grade physique, Heaven Grade Physique, and finally Divine Grade Physique.

These were absolute distinctions, with each higher physique being at least a thousand times superior to the previous one. This superiority was not limited to raw attack power; rather, the classification was based on the uniqueness, versatility, and overall applications of the physique.

For example, Vivianne currently possesses a Heaven-grade physique related to swords. Meanwhile, Azaria also had a Heaven-grade physique...the Celestial Frost Maiden Physique.

The physique alone had set Azaria miles apart from the non-physique holders. And it wasn’t just a small gap.

All thoughts were suppressed in an instant; his eyes sharpened as the body of Malvoron went still.

Then suddenly it shook! The black matter, which was spread all over him, slowly began to

recede!

BADUMP!

BADUMP!

BADUMP!

A small heartbeat echoed from Severin’s body. Rahu raised his brows. "Was I really right? Does that slave really have a wisp of Radiant Monarch’s intent...Now, this has become a bit complicated."

A slight frown appeared on his face.

Then it began... the tower started to shake, vibrating intensely.

GRMMMMMMMMM!!!

GRMMMMMMMMM!!!

GRMMMMMMMMM!!!

GRMMMMMMMMM!!!

Soon, the tower began to shake, as if an earthquake had descended. All the cultivators present inside the tower were horrified to the core.

Around, Malworon cracks began to appear in the space...light bled through the cracks.

Malworon began to levitate inches above the ground, his mind hanging limply. Yet there was an unseen force that was keeping him upright.

Suddenly, a resonance erupted from the body. It was deep and hot like a rising sun, warm and domineering.

Rahu’s smile widened when he saw this, his heart thumping in his chest in excitement. It was because of this sole reason that he had helped Severin obtain the Inheritance. He knew...or predicted that the things involving a supremely high-level cultivator would never be simple; there was no way in hell that he would get the inheritance without a single scratch.

Moreover, this was a Divine-grade physique we were talking about...not some mere dual-cultivation, level-up physique. It came with thousands upon thousands of other benefits.

BADUMP.

BADUMP.

BADUMP.

Maloworon slowly stood up, with each of his pulses invisible waves of energy spread outward, crushing space and bending the laws.

And to everyone’s horror, the entire realm began to tremble. Shaking as if welcoming their sovereign.

"Well, well, color impressed me. You certainly know how to make a grand entry," Rahu snickered as he observed the figure in golden radiance.

"Hard to believe you are a dual cultivation god with all the light and radiance. Bitch, I almost doubted my own guesses."

Malworon’s eyes snapped open! There was no pupil or emotion, just endless radiance and light.

Malworon tilted his head slightly and, for the first time, opened his mouth.

"You...reek of death."

The voice was absolute; they were heavy and ancient.

"Of course I do, and you don’t have to worry, you’d be able to feel it soon enough." Rahu grinned, just as his words ended. He disappeared!

Malworon didn’t react to his words, just raised his hand slightly. A golden wave spread out from his hand.

BOOM!!

Rahu’s fist, which was about to hit his head...was pushed back a few meters away. Landin on his feet, Rahu just stared at his hand incredulously.

"That was just an energy wave...And this feels familiar?"

When he raised his head, Rahu saw there was a deep frown on Malworon’s face.

"...You haven’t mastered the element of death...But the Supreme Law!? How is it possible?"

His voice, which had been emotionless for a few minutes, was nowhere to be heard. Malworon gawked at Rahu with shock etched on his face.

Hearing his words, Rahu’s eyes widened slightly.

"I see...you are not the Radiant Monarch God, are you? There was no way you would be asking such questions. It seems you had borrowed his power for yourself through that tiny intent present inside you."

Rahu concluded, and surprisingly, Malworon let out a small smile.

"That is true, I must admit... You are the first mortal who did not tremble the instant you felt my aura. However, you are wrong about one thing. Malworon has already died. What now inhabits this body is the intent of the Radiant Monarch, using this physique and the blood within it. That intent is anchored through Malworon’s residual soul... hence, my personality."

Malworon shrugged. Hearing his words, Rahu gave a slight nod.

"I see that is valuable information there. But what had happened to Severin’s soul then?" Rahu nodded with a smile on his face. He had to say, this being was rather interesting. It hadn’t yet attacked him nor shown him any malicious intent till now.

His earlier assault was just a way to test its test and bearing.

"That puny mortal’s soul is not relevant enough for me to speak about it," Malworon shook his head.

"True," Rahu shrugged. He would figure that out eventually. It was not that important; he had asked that question merely to satisfy his curiosity.

"Tell me, why don’t you join my side and help me conquer this realm under the faith of the Radiant Monarch God?"

The being suddenly asked a question. Then.

"Mind you, this is the first time a true apostle of a higher realm entity has asked a mortal—a question like this."

Towards the end, the being’s voice turned a bit strange.

"Conquer this realm? Why do you need my help? I’m sure that with this tower and your current strength, you are more than enough to do so."

Instead of answering, Rahu questioned him back. However, he knew there were traces of other gods in Solterra and Yvaris. He still wanted to hear it from this being’s mouth.

Hearing its words, the being let out a quiet chuckle. He nodded in agreement with Rahu’s words.

"That is indeed true, although my strength is enough to put me at the peak of this realm. There are far more powerful entities present here. After all, the realm of Varnath is one of the strongest realms out there."
