Chapter 173: Bitch, don’t flatter yourself

"Divine Sword Arts..."

Rahu’s steady voice cut through the air the moment the words left his lips. The air around him shifted.

"[Sword Aura]"

The twin purple swords hummed ever so slightly; there was no radiance nor any terrifying pressure.

Yet the space around Rahu shook, small cracks spreading through the air in front of him, before Rahu wrapped.

He swung his blade violently towards Malworon. It was as if an invisible blade was ripping through the space and heading straight towards Malworon.

Seeing this, Malworon raised his golden sword.

CLANG!!

The collision was...clean. Yet, the shockwave produced flattened everything within dozens of miles. Mountains disintegrated, distant river erased. Even the Eclipse Domain began to tremble, unable to hold the impact.

Malworon slid back a step. He raised his gaze in surprise.

"A puny [Sword Aura] mastered to such a level," His voice was calm yet surprised as he felt the slight tremble in his sword.

Rahu smirked, taking a step forward. "Heh, what can I say? I’m built different"

He disappeared.

Their swords met once again.

CLANG—CLANG—CLANG!

Each exchange was precise and monstrous. Each of Malworon’s strikes released a spark of radiance, which, upon contact, destroyed the ground below. They seemed guided and efficient...Totally opposite of Rahu.

Rahu’s were ruthless to the core...There was no wasted motion nor any excess force.

Yet, with every clash. Malworon was forced back to adjust.

Rahu spun and drove his right blade with brutal efficiency into his left arm. Malworon hurriedly raised his sword to meet the attack.

With a smirk, Rahu leaned forward and shifted his weight on the left sword.

He slashed at Malworon!

Slash!!

The blade cut through Malworon’s hand, leaving a deep gash behind. With a thought, Malworon disappeared in a flash of light, appearing a mile away from Rahu.

"...Are you using your law?" Malworon muttered with a twinge of frustration in his voice. Although there were far more devastating attacks in his arsenal. There was just a single thing he didn’t possess in this mortal vessel—The Laws.

They were unfair and overpowered to their core. The deeper a cultivator gains insights into the laws, the deeper their understanding becomes of the said law.

Hearing his words, Rahu grinned. "My Law? Bitch, don’t flatter yourself. You aren’t worth revealing my law"

Of course, that was bullshit; he just said that to trigger the light bulb in front of him. Till now, neither of them has even started to reveal their core strength.

And as Rahu gazed at the being in front of him, he knew this was the strongest being he had ever faced in his whole two lives.

Malworon didn’t react to his words; he simply raised his hand.

Light once again began to gather above with terrifying density. The air grew heavy, every particle vibrating as if being forced into alignment.

Slowly, a thin ring of radiance began spread beneath Malworon’s feet, rotating slowly and silently.

"Radiant Authority," he softly spoke. "Although a mere intent and a mortal vessel may lack my laws, the principles of it still obey me"

The ring suddenly expanded. In an instant, the space around Rahu froze.

It felt...regulated.

Rahu’s eyes narrowed as he felt resistance and obstruction around him.

"Heh"

He stepped forward and...vanished.

Malworon’s gaze flicked to the side. Rahu reappeared behind him with his blades descending. 𝙧𝙚𝙚𝔀𝒆𝓫𝓷𝙤𝓿𝒆𝙡.𝒄𝙤𝓶

CLANG!!

The ring beneath him flickered as Malworon turned mid-swing and blocked Rahu’s sword effortlessly. The impact blasted both of them apart, but Rahu had already disappeared before Malworon could raise his gaze.

Dimensional Step...he reappeared above, then below, then directly to Malworon’s blind spot. Each of his movements is silent and seamless. Leaving behind clear spatial distortions.

"You even possess Dimensional Energy!? Just...who the fuck are you?" Malworn spoke in a voice full of shock. He couldn’t believe what he was seeing, first a Law, then a mere [Sword Aura] which was strong enough to harm him, and now...this? Just where did this overpowered motherfucker come from?

Rahu halted when he heard that question and tilted his head in confusion towards Malworon.

"Me? How could you not know me? Your Dad? Hadn’t your mother already informed you about me?" His face... genuinely looked hurt.

Malworon’s pupil shrank, thick veins spreading on his temple. The ring beneath him began to spin rapidly.

"I swear on the grace of Radiant Monarch God’s name, if I don’t break that filthy mouth of yours today...I will write my name backwards!!" Saying that, his eyes began to glow intensely.

"Solar Radiance: Judgement Blades!!"

Malworon spoke in rage, high above the sky. The space began to distort!

Millions of razor-thin lances began to flicker and form. Suspending high in the sky. The entire crimson sky was lit up because of that move.

Seeing this, Rahu’s eye twitched, "Did I push this motherfucker...a bit too much?" Shaking his head, he tilted his head at the sky.

A huge grin broke out on his face, stretching across his chin. His white hair waved behind his head.

The swords on his hands disappeared as he spread his hands wide. Welcoming the attacks with open arms.

The pressure around Rahu deepened, and the space behind him began fold...unnaturally. Dense layers began overlapping like shattered glass forced together.

It happened...the millions of Judgement Blades descended. The sky shook, the air screamed.

The first wave of Judgement Blades pirced through...and never reached him!

They passed through the distorted layers, their trajectories bending, and they lost their meaning before hitting the ground and erupting harmlessly.

More blades followed...thousands and millions of them, yet every strike bent, twisted and dispersed as they entered the veil, their light stretching meaninglessly before collapsing into nothingness.

The skt burned.

The land was obliterated...And at the centre of it all, Rahu remained untouched!

Malworon’s radiance faltered ever so slightly for a single, unseeable instant.

"That veil...how is it so strong to even reflect my Judgement blades!? And not one...but a million??" Even he couldn’t believe what he was seeing, the intent inside him trembled. Which in turn made Malworon feel like his heart skipped a beat.

The Judgement Blades finally slowed down. Standing high, Rahu’s icy gaze fell on him within the distorted void, a grin slowly spreading across his face.

"Bitch, it seems now you’re starting to understand yousituation more clearly"
