Chapter 176: I’m sure the last part is reserved only for you

"Those useless fools!! Shit, at this rate, I would be dying too! And, there’s no way I could let this body fall into that bastard’s hand! Or else the consequences would be catastrophic!!" He desperately looked around for any type of solution. His situation was far more desperate than it seemed.

Malworon cursed, "If only I could use the Radiant Monarch Physique!"

Just looking at that form of Rahu sent a chill down his spine! The laws were way too horrendous and overpowered. As he looked around, his eyes suddenly shone. Three figures were reflected in those golden orbs. Seeing them, a small, malicious smile appeared on his face.

Cold sweat soaked Shakkar’s entire robes, and the ground around the tower began to shake. The Black clouds were slowly covering them from all sides.

Every breath felt heavier than the last, the screams were no individual voices...they sounded merged into a single, continuous wail of despair.

Cultivators were collapsing like dying flies; human life was worth nothing. Some were affected mentally so badly that they started clawing at their own chest and slamming their heads into the ground. But it was all useless.

"T-This is madness..." Shakkar muttered hoarsely.

"BE QUICK!!" The Yaksha young master roared. "FORM AND COMPLETE THE BARRIER!!"

"Dammit! I know I know!!" Shakkar screamed back, thick green veins bulging from his neck. He waved his hands and summoned the talisman. Closing his eyes, he focused all his Infernal Mana on the talisman.

Several other Ravan cultivators formed an uneven circle. They were pale, their eyes bloodshot. The formation symbols beneath them began to flicker erratically, fed by a surge of mana and blood.

Yes...blood.

Shakkar clenched his teeth and bit down on his thumb...Hard.

There wasn’t a single ounce of hesitation, with a thought. He slammed his bleeding hand on the pitch-black talisman.

"Ravana Ancestral Summoning: Dark Crimson Binding!!"

The talisman shattered instantly, not into pieces or fragments. But into smoke.

...

Of course, all of this didn’t escape Rahu’s eyes; he was observing all of this curiously. He hadn’t moved from his position, nor was he planning to. 𝕗𝐫𝚎𝗲𝘄𝐞𝕓𝐧𝕠𝘃𝕖𝐥.𝐜𝚘𝚖

Then his eyes moved to the running figure of Malworon, seeing him running towards Karma and Siveria, a malicious glint shone in Rahu’s eyes. Waving his hand, a pitch-black hand shot out from his back, going straight at Malworon.

A few minutes earlier...

Aria and Silveria stood frozen at the sight in front of them, their hearts shook. Aria’s breathing quickened when she saw how thousands of men and women fell down lifelessly. Their screams, still fresh in her ears and were repeating in a loop.

After all, she was a mere Inner disciple of the Divine Sword Sect. She had just transformed recently under the guidance of Vivianne and Rahu. She had increased her cultivation, her attack power, and her abilities. But this? This was something else entirely.

This wasn’t mere slaughter; it was erasure. Of not one but hundreds of thousands of lives! She was shaking all over, but she steeled her heart and controlled her expression.

She wasn’t just Aria now. She was one of the women in the harem of Rahu! The said being, that was slaughtering thousands of cultivators.

Silveria’s situation was worse; her face was pale, her hands trembling as she gripped her starry sword.

Karma frowned when she looked at both of them. She opened her jaw to speak.

"Why are you two like this?" Her voice contained genuine curiosity. She wasn’t trying to belittle them or anything.

"I-It’s nothing, I just need a few seconds," Silveria spoke, taking a deep breath. Despite that, she was cursing herself inwardly.

Was she shaking just from this? How dare she even think of her revenge? How could she show her face to Rahu?

"Y-Yes, it’s a bit much for me," Aria admitted.

"Do you want me to—?" Before she could complete her words, she snapped her head towards a certain direction. And what she saw made her blood run cold.

A golden radiance was rushing towards them, and the beings who came into contact with the light instantly evaporated from existence!

Malworon’s face was desperate as he rushed towards the trio.

"Shit! That bastard is aiming for us!!" Silveria shouted as she drew her starry sword out, but to her shock and horror, Aria and Karma just stood still and didn’t react much to this.

"What are you guys doing!? Quick, get out of here, I’ll hold him for as long as I can!" Silveria spoke, despite the confusion, the stars on her sword were beginning to light up one by one. Seeing her Karma chuckled.

"Calm down, he is still up there, right?" Karma spoke as he pointed her paws towards the sky. Aria nodded in agreement.

"W-What!?" Silveria was confused. Wasn’t that man busy with controlling the black smoke and managing the cultivators down below? How could he afford to lose his concentration at this juncture?

"Beast! Just stay quiet and come with me!"

Malworon shouted; he was just a mile away from them. A lance materialised in his hand, just as he was about to throw the lance towards them, a pitch-black caught him from above!

"W-What!?"

Malworon shouted in horror as he felt the intent of the Radiant Monarch inside him tremble. He was violently yanked from the ground towards the pitch-black clouds.

"See? Told ya," Karma shrugged, Silveria hurriedly bobbed her head up and down and steeled her mind to never doubt her benefactor!

"...Does he protect every one of his women like this?" She couldn’t help but ask, even Aria tilted her head curiously towards Karma. Her reaction was valid because she hadn’t even realised the mark behind her back yet.

"He does, but...only if he feels the enemy is too much for you. If it were someone you could defeat or kill. He won’t interfere even if you’re beaten black and blue"

Karma spoke proudly, her neck raised so high that her nose was pointed towards the sky! It was as if she were the one who knew Rahu the most! A pretentious bit—wolf.

Also, Silveria didn’t miss the slight anger in her voice at the end. Aria chuckled from behind and spoke in a mischievous voice.

"I’m sure the last part is reserved only for you"
