Infinite Dimension Physique: Rise of The Lustful Devil-Chapter 208: One of the most accursed...what?
The instant he opened the door, Amelia’s head suddenly snapped in his direction. Her red irises began to spread manically, but when the face of the intruder registered in her mind, she froze.
Even when his height had increased, when his face structure was altered, even when the colour of his skin and hair had changed drastically...she recognized him.
Those violet orbs, how could she forget about them? She had dreamed of seeing his time almost trillions of times by now.
Amelia forced a trembling hand forward, "I-Is that you, my hubby?" Her voice was raspy and hoarse. But Rahu smiled when he heard.
"It is indeed I. Now go to sleep. You have already suffered enough for my sake."
"N-NO—N-NOOOO!! I WANT TO HOL—"
Amelia screamed, but halfway through, she dropped to the ground unconscious. Rahu walked forward and gently picked up the woman.
The external harm was nothing compared to the abyssal depression she was experiencing. Honestly, it was surprising that she even survived for this long.
With a wave of his hand, two figures materialised behind him. Thalia and Anaria looked around confusedly, but then Thalia’s eyes fell on the unconscious figure of Amelia.
"M...master!?" Thalia screamed as she rushed forward. Her heart skipped a beat when she saw her condition. Her heart hammered inside her chest.
"T-This is all my fault! I-I should never have left you alone!!" Thalia spoke, her eyes watering slightly.
Anaria, although surprised, quickly turned towards Rahu. After all, he wouldn’t summon them just like that.
"I will take her off her. You guys clean up the mess inside this house."
Saying that, he disappeared.
Thalia clenched her fists, no matter how crazy and cruel. At the end of the day, Amelia had taken care of her and nurtured her from a very young age. She was...indebted to her. And now, seeing her condition this extreme. She felt incredibly guilty.
"Don’t worry, since he said he would take care of her. Trust me, he would. And in the best way possible."
Anaria consoled her, but inwardly she was scared to the core when she saw the condition of the room.
The marks were eerie as fuck!
...
Inside the residence of Yveline. In one of the rooms, Rahu gently laid the woman on the soft mattress. But even in sleep, her expression was twisted, and she was still muttering his name occasionally.
Stretching out his hand, he lightly touched her forehead. He frowned when he felt that bloodline inside. He just knew that it was a cursed one, but couldn’t tell which one it was.
"Yveline"
He called her name lightly, in the next second. Yveline materialised behind Rahu.
"Rahu? What’s the matter? Your voice sounded worr—Amelia!?"
She hurriedly stepped forward, "I picked her up from her residence and brought her here, heal her this instant."
He spoke with a tone of finality in his voice. Hearing this, Yveline nodded. Pressing her hands against her body, the same, gentle green aura spread out from her body, enveloping Amelia’s body entirely.
The cuts and wounds slowly began to mend and close, but not entirely. The marking of the burned and some cut marks weren’t vanishing.
"What in the hell...? Her bloodline itself is preventing the erasure of her cut marks."
"What sort of evil and twisted bloodline is this?" Rahu asked curiously as he observed the sleeping woman.
"Sigh...It’s called the Eternal Obsession Consort Bloodline, one of the most twisted and cursed bloodlines to ever exist." Yveline sighed as she sat on the bed.
"Eternal Obsession Consort Bloodline?" Rahu raised his eyebrows when he heard that name. From the name itself, he could guess what it was.
"The person cursed with this bloodline is cursed to suffer for eternity. This is nothing, I’m sure she even experiences soul-rending pain on a daily basis," Yveline spoke.
"Then what were you doing all this time?" Rahu looked down on her and asked, although his voice was flat. Yveline detected the faintest trace of annoyance in them.
"Sigh, I have tried many times and searched countless ruins and sites. But I haven’t even found anything even remotely close to this. And even the name of the bloodline itself, I have learned from the Empire’s deepest records. Aside from that, there’s nothing mentioned."
Yveline shook her head; she didn’t blame Rahu in the slightest. She could understand his situation right now, if Rahu were to do something like this and suffer for her sake every single day...for years. She’d go crazy and barge into the upper realm herself to search for the solution.
It was honestly scary how calm he was at this moment, looking at his eyes. He found them glued to the figure of Amelia; she could literally see the gears inside his spinning faster than a man-made silica nanoparticle dumbbell.
Solution...he was searching for something that is remotely close to the word solution. Seeing this, she smiled. Stretching out her hand, she grabbed his palm and squeezed tighter. No words were exchanged, but this simple gesture spoke volumes.
"Whatever you decide, I’ll support you, and I’ll look for the solution to the best of my abilities," was the message. Which Rahu, obviously, understood.
"Rahu, for now, you just stay with her. We will look for the solution later. Because, only in your presence shall her bloodline be numbed."
Yveline spoke, kissing him for one final time. She disappeared.
Rahu sighed and sat on the edge of the bed. After a few minutes of contemplating, he lightly raised his hand. A small tendril of pitch-black energy formed. It was like a liquid jelly. With a thought, he pointed his finger at Amelia.
The black tendrils shot out and pierced Amelia’s body, entering her stream. For a few seconds, nothing happened. But Rahu saw it, her twisted face eased up ever so slightly.
"I see, so the laws do work. That’s good, at least I have a temporary solution for this bloodline."
"Rahu...Rahu...Rahu. Amelia once again began muttering his name. Her face twisted further, and to Rahu’s surprise, her eyes snapped open!
