Chapter 107: Love Between a Beast Tamer and a Tamer

Aiden’s eyes opened, he had completely absorbed the magical energy stored within the fire element gem. He could feel all of his magical energy was full and flowing steadily, the feeling of weakness disappeared.

Aurora looked ahead, seeing the magical energy on Aiden’s body fade and disappear. She got up from the sofa and walked over to the man.

"How are you feeling?" Aurora asked. Aiden smiled slightly.

"I’m completely recovered," Aiden replied.

A bright light suddenly illuminated the outside of the palace. Aiden and Aurora’s attention was drawn away as they watched dozens of fireworks being released from the city to welcome the Envoy.

"It seems that the Envoy is very important to them," said Aiden.

"Yes. They always remember their ancestors’ prophecy. Your arrival is surely a hope for them," explained Aurora.

Aiden nodded. He took Aurora’s hand and led her to the window. Aurora blushed and smiled, not objecting at all.

The window opened, and not only light greeted them, but also the excitement of the people watching the celebration.

The streets were filled with lights and beautiful decorations, people enjoying this moment with their loved ones.

"Thank you for keeping me company, Aurora," said Aiden softly.

Aurora remained silent, then turned her head to lock eyes with Aiden. The hand he was holding began to warm up, a kind of warmth that Aurora didn’t hate, but rather liked.

"You saved me earlier. I’m the one who should be thanking you."

They remained silent, surrounded by the bursts of color from the fireworks lit up the city sky. Aiden’s heart was beating fast, his eyes fixed on the beautiful girl with white hair standing in front of him.

He gathered his courage to move closer to Aurora, Aurora didn’t resist, instead letting Aiden take the lead. As long as it was Aiden, the person she liked, Aurora wouldn’t reject him.

The two kissed gently that night! Nothing could disturb their warmth, the world belonged to them.

Aurora closed her eyes and let Aiden take her first kiss, perhaps the first and last. Aurora was no longer interested in anyone else; there was only Aiden in her heart now and forever.

Leonora walked back from the throne room to return to Aiden’s room. She wanted to know how Aiden was doing.

When she slowly opened the door, she gasped at the romantic moment between Aiden and Aurora.

The woman in the red dress smiled, closing the door gently to avoid disturbing their moment. From the backyard of the palace, Amber returned with Rachel and Joe.

"Mother?" Amber greeted.

Leonora raised a finger to her lips, signaling Amber and the others to be quiet.

"You’d better not disturb them tonight," Leonora whispered.

"What’s going on?" Rachel asked.

The woman smiled, then turned her gaze toward Amber. At first, Amber was surprised, but there was no other reason why it shouldn’t happen. Aiden and Aurora’s closeness had been there for a long time, even before Amber met Aiden.

"Okay. I understand the situation."

Amber walked away, inviting Rachel and Joe to go to the city to enjoy the fireworks from up close. Leonora was different; she returned to the throne room and met King Arthur. Arthur turned and asked about Aiden’s condition.

Leonora sat on her throne gracefully, "He has recovered."

"Good! Tonight, we will—"

"We’ll do the synchronization tomorrow," Leonora interrupted, surprising Arthur.

"Why?" Arthur asked, shocked.

The other elders gathered in the throne hall also looked confused and shocked. In their opinion, it would be much better to complete Aiden’s magic synchronization with the Dragon Fire Awakening Stone. However, Leonora’s decision was different from theirs.

"They can’t be disturbed right now. Let them be alone tonight," said Leonora.

"No! The future of the Fire Dragon Clan can’t be delayed like this!" Arthur insisted.

Just as Arthur was about to head toward Aiden’s room, his steps halted as he felt a strong magical pressure from Leonora’s aura. Not only him, but the other elders also felt the impact.

Leonora’s eyes opened, glaring sharply at her husband with her eyebrows furrowed.

"I told you. We’ll do the synchronization tomorrow," explained Leonora.

Even though Arthur was the king, his magical powers were weaker than Leonora’s. This left Arthur helpless, almost falling to his knees.

Leonora swung her hand to the side, stopping the magical pressure and ordering Arthur to return to his throne. Arthur nodded in annoyance.

The woman in the red dress looked ahead, ordering the guards to open the door for the next guest.

"Please come in."

The next day.

The Palace of the Fire Dragon Clan.

Aiden and Aurora came out of the room and immediately met the guard who told them that they had to see Queen Leonora in her private room.

They both nodded. The soldier escorted them directly to the door of Leonora’s private room. A voice from inside the door invited them to enter.

"Greetings, Your Grace, Queen," said Aiden.

He and Aurora greeted Leonora with a nod, paying their respects. They saw Leonora sitting in a beautiful spacious room with fire dragon ornaments. She was sitting cross-legged while enjoying a cup of hot tea in the morning.

"Welcome, Aiden. How are you feeling?" Leonora asked kindly.

"Much better than before. If it weren’t for the high-level fire element gem you gave me, I wouldn’t have recovered so quickly," Aiden replied.

Leonora smiled, pleased that the fire element gem she had given him had such a significant effect on his recovery.

She invited Aiden and Aurora to sit in front of her table while they enjoyed the warm tea that had been prepared.

"What do you think of the title of Envoy Master?"

Aiden was startled. He held his glass and sipped the warm tea slowly. "I think it’s a big responsibility."

"That’s right. The Envoy Master is the person who is meant to save our clan," Leonora replied.

The Fire Dragon Chronos is our ancestor. He succeeded in making all the other dragon clans submit to the fire dragon clan," explained Leonora.

"Because of his extraordinary talent, the Goddess Magical Astralis even took an interest in him and wanted to make him her successor," replied Leonora.

’Successor? Isn’t the Fire Dragon Chronos a beast? Which one is true? asked Aiden, confused.

"However, a great war involving the entire universe broke out. Our ancestor was forced to condense his magical energy into his beast essence. He destroyed the beast essence into seven fragments that were spread throughout the universe," explained Leonora.

"I don’t know how many fragments there are on Planet Gaia. But we managed to get one," said Leonora.

"Do you know where that fragment is?" asked Leonora, referring to the fragment under the ruins of the Wasteland palace.

"The goddess Aetherna came herself and took it directly. She also gave me the essence of pure light to increase my power," said Aiden.

"So, you have two dominant elements?"

"That’s right."

Leonora nodded. For humans, having two dominant elements was considered unique, especially since one of them was a rare element: light.

If Aiden could maximize his power, it wasn’t impossible for him to conquer half of this continent and become an absolute ruler. If that happened, the Fire Dragon Clan would greatly benefit.

"Alright. After we complete the synchronization process of your magic with the Dragon’s Awakening Stone, I will teach you three ultimate techniques inherited from the Fire Dragon Clan," explained Leonora, surprising Aiden.

"If you learn them well, you can become an unrivaled mage across the entire continent."
