Chapter 115: 7th Independent Group Of Reinhard

The battle raged on fiercely between them. Amber became more and more excited to have found a worthy opponent. Full of confidence, Amber was confident that she could defeat the elder.

"Tch! You seem strong enough to fight me, old man!" Amber said firmly, pushed back after her sword failed to hit Pietro.

Pietro smiled. His hand swept to dispel the wind barrier protecting him, "Come here. Give me your best attack."

Amber shouted loudly, causing the red aura within her body to burst forth. The appearance of the magical aura boosted Amber’s abilities. Her abilities increased many times over, her eyes glowing bright red.

Pietro was startled, vaguely seeing and feeling Amber’s power increase. In a flash of red fire, Amber charged forward, swinging her sword covered in magical fire energy. Pietro’s eyes widened.

"So fast!" Pietro exclaimed.

Amber swung her sword to slice Pietro’s neck. Yet, luck was on Pietro’s side. He managed to block the attack by raising a wind shield right in time.

"Phew, that was close," Pietro replied, relieved.

"Don’t get too happy!" Amber shouted.

"HYAAAAAH!"

The red-haired woman continued to pour her fire magic into her sword, increasing its power. The clash of magic in the arena caused a huge energy surge, accompanied by a powerful magical explosion spread throughout the arena.

"Impressive!" Henry praised.

"Not only did she temporarily boost her abilities, but she also focused all her power into the sword," Henry explained.

"This should be her final attack."

Helen watched the fight, then suddenly turned her head to the side, seeing Aiden’s serious face as he watched his friend’s match.

’How could she be friends with Aiden?’ Helen wondered.

’Forget it! Aiden has been gone for a long time, his abilities have also improved. He must have met some powerful people there and asked them to join him,’ explained Helen.

Cracks appeared on the wind shield, Peitro panicked, Amber was excited. Not only did she attack with her sword, but Amber also released a burst of hot fire forward, enough to surprise everyone.

"What? A direct burst of fire?" Henry asked.

"Who is this girl really?" Henry asked, confused.

Aurora looked worried, concerned about Amber’s condition. This was the first time they had seen Amber’s abilities in human form, her power was as terrifying as when she transformed into a dragon.

"Will she be okay?" Aurora asked.

"I don’t know. But Amber seems to be integrating her dragon’s power into her human form," Aiden whispered.

"If she can do it properly, she won’t need to fight in dragon mode anymore."

In the battle arena, Pietro realized Amber’s power had risen dramatically, making her nearly impossible to defeat. If he continued to force himself to defend with his wind shield, which was cracking more and more, he feared he would be roasted alive.

"I-I surrender!" Pietro declared firmly.

Despite Pietro’s clear words, there was no sign Amber would stop her magical attack. Aiden flew forward, spreading his magical wings, while Henry flew toward his elder.

Aiden pulled Amber away, while Henry used his water magic to block Amber’s burst of flames. The dangerous situation was over, Amber and Pietro were now at a safe distance.

"Elder Pietro has admitted defeat. There’s no need to attack him anymore," Henry explained.

Amber fell silent, then slowly dispelled her magic. Amber’s magical energy was severely depleted, her fiery aura disappeared, and she fell limply, breathing heavily. Rachel and Joe arrived to help Amber recover.

"My group has won two rounds, so there should be no need for a third," Aiden explained.

"HAHA!"

"You’re right, Aiden. We don’t need to fight the third round," Henry admitted, conceding defeat in the Group Courage Test.

Pietro returned with his body wounded —more precisely, his magical energy depleted. Henry stepped forward, Helen walking toward her father to accompany him. Only Aiden remained there, while the others were on the podium focusing on healing Amber.

"You and your group members have passed the Group Courage Test. As the head of the Reinhard Family, I approve your group as an independent group," replied Henry.

The white-haired man tapped his magic pouch and brought out a golden plate. When Henry activated it, a notification panel appeared on it, in the form of a table with six independent groups that had been formed previously.

With Aiden’s group, the Reinhard Family now had seven independent groups that had been officially recognized.

"As the group representative, you can place your hand on the panel," Henry requested. Aiden nodded.

He touched the panel, causing another panel to appear before Aiden, only visible to him.

[DING! Congratulations, you have registered an Independent Group]

[Leader: Aiden Aswald]

[Class: Magic Knight]

[Members: ]

[Aurora] [Mage]

[Amber] [Mage]

[Rachel] [Mage]

[Joe] [Adventurer]

Aiden fell silent, then smiled faintly as he saw his group officially formed. With that, Aiden could carry out missions as an Independent Group.

From the golden slip, a golden light shone and formed a new slip in front of Aiden. Aiden accepted the slip while Henry explained the Independent Group system.

"You can get your missions through that slip. It works as your mission bulletin and status," Henry replied.

"The missions will be sent by the elders of the Reinhard Family. You can choose which missions you want to take based on your abilities."

Aiden cleared his throat. He looked back at his golden slip and Henry’s golden slip. Aiden’s group was written on Henry’s notification panel, with a brightly lit white dot.

"What is that white dot?" Aiden asked.

"It indicates your survival status. If you’re still alive, the dot will remain lit. However, if you die, the dot will lose its light," Henry explained.

"As an Independent Group, you will go on different missions than the adventurers, knights, or mages. The missions may be dangerous or easier," Henry revealed.

The young man in front of Henry nodded, fully understanding Henry’s explanation. Seeing Aiden’s positive response, Henry decided to end the Group Courage Test and officially approve Aiden’s group as an Independent Group.

"Today. I, Henry Reinhard, Head of the Reinhard Family, hereby approve and officially appoint Aiden, Aurora, Amber, Rachel, and Joe as an Independent Group, the 7th Independent Group of Reinhard!" declared Henry.

Everyone clapped, from the elders, Helen, Leonora, Jack, to Henry. Aiden smiled, turned around, and saw that Amber had regained half of her strength.

"Get ready, 7th Independent Group. There’s an important mission that might be suitable for you," Henry replied.

"What is it?" Aiden asked.

"To destroy one of the noble families in the city!"
