Infinite Paths: The Raging Phoenix-Chapter 775: Do it
An unknown skill leveled up.
An unknown path leveled up.
"Fuck…" Rain thought and then sighed.
Rain didn’t have time to complain that much… the clouds were back to normal and the storm dragons made the lightning bolts rain down on them. The storm dragons soared toward the capital, their immense forms outlined against the tumultuous sky. Each of these imposing creatures was enveloped in a constant cascade of crackling lightning bolts.
The bolts arced and danced along the dragons’ bodies, weaving a mesmerizing tapestry of electric radiance that surrounded them like an aura of raw power.
With every beat of their colossal wings, arcs of electricity trailed behind them, forming a web of electrifying energy in the wake of their flight. The lightning bolts crackled and snapped, outlining the dragons’ sinuous forms with an otherworldly glow.

These storm dragons were well aware of the charged aura they wielded. They knew that Rain, despite his formidable abilities, wouldn’t risk attaching himself directly to them while they were wrapped in such a volatile sheath of electricity.
Their defense was not merely in their physical might but also in the electrifying barrier that cloaked their massive bodies, daring any opponent to come too close and face the risk of being struck by the potent bolts that encased them.
While Rain was thinking of what he should do, he suddenly saw a massive mass approaching… it was a volcan dragon charging toward him and Seadrei.

This colossal dragon showed scales resembling molten rock, shimmering with a fiery hue that transitions from shades of fiery reds and oranges to deep, charred blacks. Its scales were rough and rugged, resembling the hardened crust of cooled lava, yet emanating an intense heat that warmed the air around it.
The dragon’s eyes burned with a fierce glow, a fiery gaze that reflected its inner inferno. Sharp horns protrude from its head, reminiscent of volcanic spires, and billowing plumes of smoke intermittently drift from its nostrils, hinting at the seething fire that dwells within.
In that brief moment that Rain looked at the creature, all the other dragons moved away from it and then it happened. Even while running and without doing anything else… the creature body suddenly grew and began to expand. It took only a single second before the monster exploded.
The eruption of the Volcan Dragon was cataclysmic, an explosion that unleashed an inferno of scorching heat and destructive force. As the dragon erupted into a powerful blast, shockwaves of searing heat rippled through the air, engulfing everything in its vicinity in an intense wave of fiery energy.
Pieces of the dragon’s molten scales and charred flesh were propelled in all directions, scattering like fiery comets across the sky. The eruption tore the creature apart, sending flaming remnants hurtling through the air in a chaotic display of destruction.
The shockwaves reverberated through the surrounding landscape, causing the ground to tremble and the air to sizzle with the intense heat. The radiant glow of the explosion illuminated the horizon, casting an eerie light that painted the sky in hues of red and orange.
The remnants of the Volcan Dragon scattered across the battlefield, each fragment carrying the residual heat of the explosion, scorching the earth as they fell. The once mighty dragon, now reduced to scattered remnants, marked the end of its reign of fire and devastation, leaving behind a trail of blazing remnants and a lingering testament to its immense power.
Even the warriors and the mages several kilometers away had a hard time enduring the heat blast of air… for those close to the thing, it was supposed to be hell… fortunately, Seadrei was inside the massive water bubble… unfortunately, around one third of it melted in the attack.
Rain protected himself with the giant ice arms, but half of them cracked and began to melt… most people would think that they won that exchange, but that couldn’t be further from the truth since they had to deal with a bunch more of those and they couldn’t waste resources that much and so soon. Still, they soon realized the real issue of the matter…
When Rain moved the giant ice arms, he felt like clicking his tongue, but soon he noticed something weird… the pieces of the volcan dragon were moving… they were moving like slimes toward the epicenter of the explosion.
"You have got to be kidding me… that much power and it didn’t even truly self destructed?" Rain thought.
The other dragons that flew away were returning and the mages in the walls hadn’t recoverd yet… at the same time, the storm dragons were approaching the walls… the other dragons that were on the land were approaching as well.
"As expected… it was impossible to begin with," Rain thought.
It was time to use his final card a lot sooner than Rain had planned. He tried to give the sign to Seadrei, but when he looked at him, he just saw his spear moving toward him. At the same time, Rain saw the giant water sphere approaching the storm and six winged dragons… and in no time covered them.
"Do it," Seadrei said. "Don’t hold back."
Rain didn’t hesitate… he put the spear over his shoulder and then covered it in ice using all of his mana before throwing it toward the water sphere. The dragons that tried to escape the water prison were immediately stabbed through and through by the spear that was spinning violently.
Rain started by cutting the wings of all the dragons and made them unable to fly or swim in the water prison… Rain could have caused more damage, but then he wouldn’t have hit all of them… before long, huge amounts of water and the dragons began to fall in front of the warriors and despite the splashes, they began to charge… the bodies of the storm dragons were still charged with electricity and that shocked a bunch of the warriors, but that didn’t stop them.
