Infinite Paths: The Raging Phoenix-Chapter 936: Weak and Strong
Rain found his grandparents after one day to share the startling news and updates about the conflicts and the impending dangers they faced. As expected, upon hearing the details, his grandparents were utterly shocked. The revelation of all things and the complexities of the situation left them visibly stunned.
However, despite the initial shock, Rain's grandparents swiftly understood the gravity of the situation and the urgency of the news. Their decades of experience and wisdom enabled them to grasp the severity of the impending conflicts and the necessity for quick action.
Recognizing the importance of disseminating this crucial information, Rain's grandparents wasted no time in spreading the news among their network and community. They understood the significance of alerting as many people as possible as fast as possible

While spreading the information, a troublesome reality emerged. Rain, his grandparents, and their allies might have to leave some individuals behind. This difficult decision came from the realization that they couldn't force everyone to follow them in the face of impending situation.
The choice to evacuate or relocate was a personal decision, and they respected the autonomy and choices of those who might choose not to join them.
After that, Rain regrouped with his parents, sisters, Terra, his children, Jori, Reca and their kids. He also gave them a quick summary of the situation, and they had to think about it for several hours before they decided to move.
"All right, we are going with you," Roan said. "I trust that you will control whatever vehicle we are going to use."
"I want to hear more about the insanity of the situation, though," Terra said. "I want to confirm that I heard everything all right."
Danny and Annie and Jori and Reca's children were still trying to understand which parts of that tale made any sense at all… since they belong to a new generation, it made sense that they would fele doubtful of Rain's words, but at least they didn't openly looked at him as if he was insane.
While flying alone would have been faster, Rain only wasted two more hours while transporting everyone on an ice chambar thanks to the shield and the armor. Now and then, he would feel his mind getting foggy with the anger, but since he was pacing himself, the corruption in those items was limited.
During the trip, they talked about things once more, they asked the same thing over and over again, though. It couldn't be helped so Rain didn't mind it. At some point, the questions ended and the group went silent wondering how things would play out.
Seeing the other half of the family made Terra, Danny and Annie feel a bit tense, even though they all knew that they didn't have time to argue… they didn't have any reason for that too.
When they approached the territory of the demi humans, Rain kept his eyes on the ocean, but the mana levels had returned to normal, but the temperature had dropped a bit once more… At that point in time, he felt like everyone would eventually have to worry with colds too with the temperature dancing like that.
Once they arrived on the Island, everyone looked around curiously since it was the first time they had been there. Conveniently enough, Van was there and while he tried to sneakily leave, Rain stopped in front of him.
"Relax, I am not going to kill you… unless I have a reason to," Rain said when he put his arm on Van's shoulder. "Do I have a reason to kill you? Do I?"
"No, sir…" Van said while looking away.
"You would be more convincing if you were looking me in the eye," Rain said. "It seems that I have to do some investigation here…"
"Who is this guy?" Terra asked.
"... Sealyn boyfriend," Rain replied after a long shift. "As expected, saying that out loud puts a bad taste in my mouth."
"Get a grip, we don't have time for your antics," Terra said while furrowing her eyebrows.
"I know, you should call your elders because I have some bad news," Rain said. "Tell Isa to come to talk to me as well, I need to ask her a few things."
Van nodded and used that chance to move as fast as the wind in order to escape from Rain. Everyone was a bit curious about Sealyn's boyfriend, but he seemed like a wimp since he was so easily intimidated by Rain.
Gathering everyone together in the commander's tent of the seafolk took merely an hour, a testament to the efficiency and urgency of the situation at hand. The reunion was a momentous occasion, reuniting individuals who had been separated for many decades. However, despite the emotional significance of the reunion, there was no time for sentimentalism just yet.
As everyone finally laid eyes on each other after a prolonged separation, there was a palpable air of anticipation and concern. The shared history and bonds between these individuals were evident, but the pressing issues at hand took precedence over emotions and reminiscence.
Amidst this gathering, Rain took the initiative once more to tell the crucial information and updates about the siyuation. Recognizing the gravity of the situation, Rain reiterated the urgency and severity of the threats they faced, emphasizing the need for swift and decisive action.
"I see now…" Isa said while showing a severe expression.
"What did you understand from all that?" Rain asked.
"Throughout history, the dragon god always has been a dragon that had evolved into a hydra because they could manipulate all the sins, so it wouldn't be weird if they had the sin of lust and had many offspring," Isa explained. "My father was the younger brother of a dragon god of three generations ago.
According to him, his father was also a dragon god, and he had many kids, but only two of them were known among the dragons. I never understood why, but I can now imagine why."
"Do you think that they were sent somewhere else, like beyond this world?" Rain asked.
