Infinite wealth In A New World-Chapter 395: Incoming War
[Great World — Lilith's Domain]
[The Obsidian Palace - Royal Chambers]
[One week later.]
The air in the chamber was heavy, scented with dark orchids and the lingering static of a soul that had traveled too far. In Lilith's huge, luxurious bedroom, where the walls were draped in silks the color of midnight, Violet sat on the velvet couch. She stared at the figure in the massive bed with unmasked concern. She had been sitting there for three days now, refusing to leave her post, waiting for her mother to wake up from the sudden collapse.
"Master."
Lilith murmured in a low voice, her eyelids fluttering as her consciousness returned from the void where she had met Ezekiel. She slowly opened her eyes.
Seeing her finally regaining consciousness, Violet shot to her feet, her exhaustion vanishing instantly.
"Mother." She rushed towards Lilith's bed, staring at her in relief, her hands hovering as if afraid to touch her.
Lilith sat up, the silk sheets pooling around her waist. She moved her gaze around the place, reorienting herself to the physical realm. A slight frown appeared on her face as she realized the passage of time.
"How long have I been gone?" She asked, looking at Violet.
"One week and three days."
"What?!" Lilith exclaimed, the shock cutting through her grogginess. A week was an eternity in the volatile politics of the Supreme World.
"Don't worry mother! The Titan's world is being observed by my sisters, they won't try anything funny." Violet said, quickly calming down Lilith. She hesitated, biting her lip before delivering the darker news. She sighed:
"But, I got news from Sister Agora that the Titans' leader just broke through to the tenth order... But he hasn't acted. We don't know why."
"Tenth order?!" Lilith turned to her in disbelief. The Titans were brutes, monsters of flesh and hunger. For one to reach the pinnacle of power usually reserved for Domain Rulers was catastrophic.
Violet slowly nodded her head, confirming the nightmare.
Lilith's mind raced. If the Titan King had ascended, there was only one power source potent enough to fuel such an evolution.
"What about that... Tree?" She asked with a dark tone, a deep frown etching lines onto her flawless face.
"That tree. It is gone... I think the Titans' leader absorbed it. That pushed it to the tenth order rank."
"No! If he absorbed that tree, it will be chaotic! Send words to the other domains, we must destroy that Titan, or the whole four worlds will be in danger." She yelled, her tone catching Violet off guard.
Violet blinked. Lilith was a ruler who famously cared little for the balance of the four worlds, usually prioritizing her own power and schemes. Now, she was urging a coalition for the greater good.
'The Titans are man eating giants. They will do anything to be free from that place...' Lilith thought, a cold sweat forming on her back.
Her mind flashed back to her own machinations. 'I gave Lester a seed from that tree, which have the powers to turn anyone 10 miles radius into Giants, who only wants to eat flesh. But Lester gave it to Matilda, and she used it in the lower world.'
The consequences of her past actions were coming full circle. She turned to Violet, her eyes sharp.
"Any news about Sunny?!" She asked.
"Well..."
Violet swallowed hard. She recounted everything that had happened in Lester's Faction—the arrival of the Heaven of Space and Water, the overwhelming pressure of Sunny's aura, the death of the army, and the fact that Sunny had spared her life explicitly to deliver a message. She spoke of the three strangers who saved Lester and, with a heavy heart, repeated Madeleine's words of betrayal.
Lilith listened to everything with a slight frown on her face. She didn't rage. She didn't scream. She simply absorbed the information, exhaling slowly after Violet was done.
"Madeleine.... It seems I can't save her anymore." She muttered to herself. There was a flicker of pain in her eyes—the loss of a child she had raised, even if that child had chosen a path of ruin. She pushed the feeling down; she had a duty now.
She turned to the window, gazing out at the dark expanse of her domain.
"I can sense Sunny in the great world... Get Perran. We will be paying him a visit." She said.
"I lost one child, I am not planning on losing the only one with me now."
She stood up from the bed, her aura flaring to life, dispelling the sickness that had plagued her. She turned to the stunned Violet.
"What are you waiting for?! Go get ready! Once we deal with this, we can take care of the Titans." She said, her voice commanding. She paused, adding a directive that shook Violet to her core.
"Send words to Agora, they should be on guard, once the Titans attack, they should hold them back as much as they can! Also, send words to Aurelia and Victoria, those two need to get ready for the Titans. I will also ask if Sunny will lend us a hand."
"Sunny? What?" Violet was speechless, staring at Lilith in disbelief. Asking the enemy—the God Wolf—for help? It was madness.
"Just go."
"Yes, Mother." Violet nodded, suppressing her questions, and rushed out of the room to deliver the message.
Lilith exhaled, closing her eyes. She touched her chest, feeling the faint warmth of the soul fragment Ezekiel had left her.
'If he saves Perran, I will work with him master.' She thought. 'I will honor your wish.'

[Aurelia's Domain — The Sanctuary of Light]
[Ten minutes Later]
The throne room of the Angel Queen was a blinding masterpiece of white marble and gold, usually a place of serenity. Today, it was a place of panic.
"What?!!"
The Angel Queen stood up in shock, her massive white wings flaring out behind her, knocking over a golden chalice. She stared at the messenger angel kneeling before her. "What did you say?!"
"My Queen! Ruler Lilith's information stated that a tenth order has been born in the Titans' world, and she requests for backups. And..." The Angel lowered his gaze, terrified of the words he had to speak next.
"The tree have been absorbed."
"What?!!" 𝘧𝘳𝘦ℯ𝓌𝘦𝒷𝘯𝑜𝑣𝘦𝓁.𝒸𝘰𝓂
Aurelia froze, her face paling until it matched her robes. "How is that even possible?! There is a sealing formation around that tree! There is no way they could bypass it and get the tree... No way at all." She muttered, her mind racing as she looked down at the man.
The Tree of Gluttony was an ancient evil, sealed away by the combined might of the Four Domain Rulers. It was the source of the Titans' hunger. For it to be absorbed meant the seal had not just failed; it had been dismantled.
"Those giants are mindless creatures, someone else must be behind all this! Send a messager to the first domain, Ruler Victoria must hear this!"
"Yes!"
The Angel nodded, stood up, and rushed out of the hall, his feathers ruffling in his haste, leaving Aurelia behind in the echoing silence.
"This is really strange... Victoria, Lilith, Harrison and I placed that sealed... Yes, Harrison is dead, but the seal shouldn't have gotten that weak. Something is definitely wrong here!"
Aurelia paced the dais. Harrison's death removed one key, but three remained. For the tree to be accessed, someone with intimate knowledge of the seal—or power that transcended the Supreme World—had interfered.
With a sigh of frustration and dread, she vanished from the hall in a flash of holy light, heading to prepare her legions for war.
