Chapter 407: Lucian. Treasure. Destiny

[Months Later.]

[Supreme World – The Royal Sanctuary.]

The corridors of the castle in the Supreme World were usually filled with a heavy, reverent silence. But today, the air vibrated with tension, thick enough to choke a lesser being.

"AHH!"

The scream tore through the hallway, echoing off the pristine, runic walls.

Sunny stood frozen. Beside him were Ellen, Jinx, Nioh, and the elite ranks of his Subordinates. They stood before the imposing operational door, a barrier of celestial metal that separated them from the Queen. Every muscle in Sunny’s body was taut, his ears twitching at the sound of Josephine’s voice from the labor room.

"Umm... Dad, why is Mum screaming?" Ellen asked in confusion. Her innocent eyes darted between the door and her father; the raw reality of biology was still a mystery to her.

"Well..." Sunny held his jaw, lost in thought. The mighty ruler, who had faced armies and defied laws, looked momentarily helpless. He looked down at Ellen, his expression softening.

"She is bringing your siblings into this world," he said, staring at her with a small, reassuring smile that didn’t quite reach his anxious eyes.

"Oh... So it’s painful?" she asked again, tilting her head.

"Yeah."

Jinx stepped forward. Her presence was sharp and vibrant against the sterile hallway. "Don’t worry Ellen, in some years you will also experience this," she said, her tone matter-of-fact.

Ellen blinked, processing the information.

"But the man who will catch your attention must be exceptional... I wouldn’t pair him with Dad, because he is beyond exceptional..." Jinx smirked, glancing at her King before looking back at the young girl. "But he should have something awesome about him."

Ellen furrowed her brows. "But Big Sister... I am still young, shouldn’t you talk about yourself?"

"....?!!" 𝚏𝗿𝗲𝐞𝚠𝕖𝐛𝗻𝗼𝐯𝕖𝚕.𝚌𝗼𝗺

The question hung in the air, stunning Jinx into silence.

Sunny broke the tension with a chuckle. "Yeah. You’re 20 now... Shouldn’t you start looking for a husband?" he asked with a teasing smile, grateful for the distraction from the screams behind the door.

"Husband?" Nioh scoffed, crossing his arms. "The guy who will get close to Jinx must have a very powerful willpower."

Blood Eye leaned against a pillar, a dark smirk playing on her lips. "The guy will die the moment he upsets her."

"Really? If there is a guy to begin with," Nicolas stated dryly, adjusting his cuffs.

Eve, standing close to Nioh, shook her head gently. "Enough guys... Miss Jinx might be crazy and ruthless at times, but she won’t kill any guy who courts her."

"All of you, shut up!!" Jinx snapped, whipping around to face them. Her aura flared, hot and indignant. "Yes! Some of you already got your partners, so what?!"

She crossed her arms over her chest, lifting her chin in defiance. "I haven’t seen a guy because all the ones I know are stupid, weak, and useless, including you all, well, apart from my Dad.."

"....?!!"

The men were dumbfounded.

"I am a beautiful lady. The guy will be lucky to have me, because with me... He can have all races."

She flipped her hair to the side, a gesture of absolute vanity and confidence. "I seek greatness, not some foolish guy."

"I hate to admit, Jinx is right."

The voice was calm and melodic. Star stepped forward, her words drawing everyone’s attention.

"Of course, I don’t support her logic, but what she said about having all races is true. Jinx is a shape-shifter; she can take the form of any race. If a guy marries her, he will enjoy himself." She turned to Jinx with a knowing smile:

"I didn’t know you had such thoughts."

"Hey!! What do you mean by that?!" Jinx yelled, pointing an accusatory finger at Star, her face flushing. "I am a beautiful lady, and my thoughts are all pure! Right?!"

Hearing her desperate plea for validation, everyone looked away. Even Sunny and Ellen found sudden interest in the floor tiles, refusing to meet her gaze.

"Huh?!" Jinx was speechless.

Some distance away, removed from the chaotic banter of the inner circle, stood a different trio. Lola watched the group with a critical eye. Next to her stood Natasha, her long flowing white hair shimmering with residual energy.

"They are chatting happily, are they worried about the Queen in labor?" Natasha asked with a slight frown, finding their levity strange.

"Of course they are worried." Lola turned her head, her gaze piercing through the walls toward Queen Josephine. "But with God Wolf present, nothing will happen to her... You understand, Natasha?"

Natasha nodded slowly, her eyes fixed on Sunny’s back. "I must be so stupid challenging him in that competition," she murmured, the memory of her defeat still fresh.

"Fufufu... You’re still thinking about that? Forget it." Lola let out a light chuckle. "Besides, you’re now his youngest daughter’s student... Oh, if I may, how is your light energy training?"

Natasha looked down at her hand. She concentrated, and particles of pure photons coalesced. "My master might be a kid, but her knowledge about the light element is beyond my comprehension."

She opened her palm, and a miniature dragon made of solid light manifested. It roared silently, flying around her fingers with lifelike fluidity.

"Thanks to her, I have gotten stronger... I am now even a Fifth Order." She clenched her fist, shattering the light dragon into a shower of harmless, glittering particles. "A rank I never dreamed of achieving in this life."

Lola smiled, sensing the genuine gratitude in Natasha’s voice. "That is good progress, Ruler of Light, keep going."

Natasha turned to her and nodded lightly, her resolve hardened.

"AHH!"

The sound cut through the conversations instantly. Everyone paused, bodies rigid, turning back to the operational door.

Then, silence.

And then, a sound that shifted the very atmosphere of the Supreme World—the sharp, piercing cry of a baby.

"...?!"

Everyone blinked, listening intently. They turned to Sunny, waiting for a reaction.

’Seems she is different from the first,’ Sunny thought. He could feel the signature of the life force beyond the door. It wasn’t just one. A smile, one of profound relief and pride, appeared on his lips.

The group waited. Minutes turned into hours. The anticipation was palpable. And finally, a third cry.

The heavy door hissed open. Morgana stepped into view, wiping her hands on a cloth. She looked exhausted but triumphant.

"Congratulations, My King... Two sons and a daughter," she said with a bright smile that illuminated the hallway.

"The Heavens are finally here."

She stepped aside, gesturing to the sanctum. "You can go in... Please, only five for now."

Sunny nodded, his composure returning now that the waiting was over. He walked inside, with Ellen and Jinx following close behind. Star exchanged a glance with the group, nodded, and followed, with Nioh bringing up the rear.

Inside, the room was bathed in a soft, ethereal glow. Sunny’s eyes went immediately to the three silver cribs, but his heart went to the bed. He walked towards Josephine, who looked tired but radiant.

"Thank you," Sunny whispered, his voice thick with emotion. He leaned down, planting a gentle kiss on her forehead.

Josephine smiled. Through the contact, she felt a surge of warm, restorative energy flowing from him into her body, chasing away the fatigue. She smiled brightly at him, her eyes shining with love.

"Wow! Look at his hair," Ellen exclaimed, leaning over the first crib. She was staring at a baby boy with striking black and silver hair. As if sensing her presence, the baby opened his eyes—pools of molten gold—staring at her in confusion.

"So cute!" Jinx muttered, her usual sharpness replaced by adoration. She was staring at the baby girl. The infant already had long, flowing silver hair and piercing green eyes.

"They look just like you two," Star added softly, staring at the last crib. The baby boy there had jet-black hair and golden eyes, a perfect reflection of his father.

Sunny walked towards the cribs. With the tenderness of a father, he slowly gathered all three into his massive arms. His smile never left his face as he held the future of his legacy.

"Have you thought of a name?" he asked, looking up at Josephine.

"Only for the girl, I want you to name the two boys," Josephine answered softly.

"Oh? Mind telling us?"

"She is my second daughter, so I will name her, Treasure," Josephine answered, watching the silver-haired girl.

"Treasure, that is a very nice name," Nioh stated with a respectful smile.

"Indeed... From now on, she will be Treasure." Sunny nodded, signing the decree with his voice.

"What about the boys?" Josephine asked.

Sunny looked down at the boy with the black and silver hair. "For my first son, smart and wise... He will be known as Lucian."

He turned his gaze to the black-haired boy with golden eyes. He felt a hum of power radiating from the child. "And for my other son... His path is brighter than anything I have seen... He will be Destiny."

"Lucian and Destiny... I like the names, did you just come up with it?" Josephine teased gently.

Sunny chuckled. "Nope."

"I am confused, who is the first, second or third born here?" Jinx asked, gesturing to the bundle of powerful infants.

"Lucian is first, then Treasure. Destiny is the last to come out," Josephine clarified.

"Oh, so this silver and black hair kid is the first." Jinx moved closer, her face inches from Lucian’s. She squinted, her senses flaring. "Impressive, I can feel his strength even from this distance..."

She looked up at Sunny, her expression serious. "Is that the reason they were born with hair?"

Sunny slowly nodded, his expression turning grave. "Each of these three have the strength of a Tenth Order... The older they get, the stronger the energy gets, until it reaches the Heaven Class... Then, it will be up to them to grow."

He turned to Josephine, a shadow of worry crossing his face.

Seeing his expression, Josephine blinked. "What happened, Love?"

"Because of this energy," Sunny said, his voice dropping, "their growth will be two times faster than normal."

"Two times?"

"...?!"

The room went silent. Everyone was stunned.

"He is right..." Morgana, standing a few feet away, nodded in agreement, her analysis confirming the King’s assessment. "Their bodies must accelerate to contain that level of power."

Josephine stared at the kids. The sadness flickered for only a moment before being replaced by fierce maternal resolve. She smiled lovingly.

"Then we should start spending time with them."

"Right." Sunny nodded, holding his children tighter.
