Inheriting a Lost Bloodline, My First Task is to have heirs?!-Chapter 608 - A Meeting with Wanna-Be Husbands (Part 1)

Both Clarence and Caius’ eyes widened as they realized what I was actually insinuating through my last sentence. I did choose some sarcasm as form of my communication but there are much harsher ways to say it like, bluntly telling them, "Who are you to me that I needed to tell you about everything I do?" but I opted to keep the peace at least.

My last statement successfully silenced my two persistent shadows and kind of killed the flow of the conversation as they seemed to not know how to respond to it. I waited for a while for them to speak but it has been several minutes but we are still in the same awkward silence so I took matters into my own hands.

Since nobody seemed to want to speak, I told them the real reason why I had to leave in a nonchalant tone. I told them that I had to leave the school since I have to assist my three husbands who were are about to give birth to our children. I also bluntly told them that I also had to relocate my two other husbands to a safer place since they will give birth to our children anytime within this month.

At the end of my story, I warned them not to bother me since I am seriously busy with being the student of the academe, head of a household and also looking for ways to earn more money to grow my growing family. I thanked both of them for liking me but explained that I can only offer friendship as of the moment.

Clarence with a meek voice declared with conviction today,, "I appreciate the friendship but you do know that I want to be part of your family too. I do not care even if my ranking among the husbands would the lowest as long as you take me in."

This time it was Caius’ turn to stare at Clarence, seemingly surprised as to how brave the latter’s statement was. He might have a meek and gentle voice but he knows what he wants and is not afraid to say it.

I already saw Caius’ disheartened reaction earlier. I clearly understood why as I have already rejected his advances when I was in the northern camps repeatedly. Now, he followed me to Hoffen and got the same answer. I think it was normal to feel like it was time to give up since I know he was a prideful person and all.

This time though, as if he received some strength from Clarence’s bravery, Caius looked at me with a renewed conviction and declared, "I am officially pursuing you. I know it should be the other way around but if I did not make a move, I will never have the chance to be with you."

I sighed heavily and held my forehead with my left hand. I think I am going to have a migraine again due to these two even if it was impossible for me to feel sick in my current body.

As I was touching my forehead, I couldn’t help but realized that I haven’t even finalized my agreement with the magic tower regarding Keeran and now, two other men representing important families and entities are trying to hog their spotlight in my life as well.

I breathed in deeply and made a decision. I looked at the other two and spoke in a serious tone, "Let’s take a step back for now and think about what we really want again for tonight. Let’s meet again tomorrow here in my house. Honestly,there is one more person that needs to be attend this meeting with the two of you. Once you meet him, you will understand why I am a bit against having a connection beyond friends with the two of you."

That evening, after sending off my two visitors, I decided to go to Void’s room and simply slept with him in my arms. He did not complaint and I actually felt like he breathed a sigh in relief since I spared him tonight or I could just be imagining it.

I woke up the next morning still feeling a little tired even if I slept the whole night. The fact is that I don’t even really need sleep to recuperate but well, I am stressed. I went to my classes like a zombie and as expected, the two unwanted visitors last night still sat on the seats to my left and right.

When the evening came and the classes were done, I told the two that I will be bringing them over first at the villa then I have to leave again to fetch someone. After sending them off to my villa via teleportation, I left again by teleporting to the area near the magic tower to fetch my little VIP for the meeting.

When I arrived, I went straight to Grandpa Mage to say hello and also to let him know that there is a meeting in my villa wherein Keeran’s attendance would be needed. Grandpa Mage immediately called for his grandson to go to his office as quickly as possible.

After a few minutes, Keeran arrived with a bang as he pushed the door wide into his grandfather’s office. Well, I guess I am more polite now since I do knock gently and wait permission before entering. I also have stopped teleporting inside that old man’s office out of the blue. I couldn’t help but smile to myself and think that I have come a long way.

Seeing me inside his grandfather’s office in such a normal evening, Keeran was very surprised of my visit. He looked like he had a ton of questions for me but before he could even ask why I was there or why did his grandfather call for him, I walked with bog strides towards him then within a few seconds performed a series of action. I first grabbed his right wrist, mark him temporarily like what I did with those two visitors so he can enter my home and then teleported us out of the tower, straight to my villa inside the academe.
