Inheriting a Lost Bloodline, My First Task is to have heirs?!-Chapter 615 - Things go by real quick when you are anticipating something

After a week in Eieneos with my most important people, I was yet again forced to come back to the academe afterwards but just until Dimitri is set to give birth at least. Honestly, who knows? Maybe I would be back there in just a few days?

Though I purposely did not enroll in any short term classes on the weeks I expected my husbands to have their scheduled labors, since I am still a current student of the academe, I am supposed to stay within the academe premises most of the duration of my two-year educational program. The only exceptions to this rule was when the student takes their one week breaks in between terms, the required immersion courses (three of them) and of course, emergency situations that require one to leave the academe like sickness, marriage, birth of a child, death in the family, etc.

Every time I leave the academe, everything has to be documented, at least I should provide details such as the duration of my leave, a hint of where I am going and the extenuating circumstance I have which necessitates the leave. Well, so far, I have used the marriage and the birth of a child reasons for my leaves.

As I left the other realm, it was yet another tearful goodbye with my husbands teary-eyed and my babies crying while I just looked distressed throughout it all since I had no choice but to leave. I did not forget to make a quick stop at Tadhana to pick up Void and then together we made several teleports again to keep the other realm’s entry and exit points secure from the prying eyes of those who are interested in its location in the human realm.

The two of us reappeared right inside my villa in the academe. After settling Void back in his room, I had to go to Grandmaster Freidrick again to report my safe return as per our agreement. I also updated him about the two new additions to my family. I can confidently say that out of all the beings living in the human realm, only he knows how big my family really is.

As I arrived at Grandmaster Freidrick’s office, I knocked gently only to hear some loud voices from the inside. There seemed to be a few other people inside that seemed to be arguing with the old man. The tone of their voices seem angry and accusatory. It was just outright rude if you ask me.

I did not wait for the owner of the office to let me in and I just pushed the door open to announce my return, not caring about who is inside bullying one of my favorite old men. Surprisingly, it was none other than Caius and Clarence who were questioning the grandmaster quite forcefully about my whereabouts since I suddenly left and disappeared from the academe yesterday.

All the sounds from inside the office stopped the moment I forcefully opened and walked through the door. The two men who were using loud and argumentative voices earlier paused then turned their heads in the direction of the door. They looked stunned while the old man looked relieved seeing that I have returned about a day after I left.

I walked straight into the room till I was a few steps in front of the grandmaster’s desk and greeted him politely as I normally do. It was as if the two unnecessary accessories in the room do not exist. After reporting my return from my emergency leave, I turned around and just left the office, ignoring the two guys then closed the door gently as I left. 𝗳𝗿𝐞𝕖𝘄𝗲𝕓𝗻𝚘𝚟𝕖𝐥.𝚌𝕠𝕞

Knowing that they would definitely follow me out since they were looking for me, I teleported out that place in a blink and returned to my villa. The temporary marks on their hands that I placed a few days back has expired which means they won’t be able to enter my villa and disturb my peace. I went in Void’s room and slept like a baby with him in my arms.

Just with the number of classes I squeezed in during the first three weeks of the current term, I have already completed the required class unit I needed to complete the semester. If you add the fact that I have already completed the full curriculum and so much more, I could have graduated already if I did my three immersions one after the other. The third immersion is the only requirement I am still missing for graduation and I purposely chose to take it on my very last term before graduation.

I know that Caius and Clarence must be desperate to speak to me and explain what I witnessed inside Grandmaster Freidrick’s office but I just came back from my trip and I do not want to deal with anything else for now. I am sure they expected for me to come out the next day and start attending classes again but I did not. I stayed inside my villa for the days after, just enjoying some quality time with Void and Arthur who are the only ones allowed inside my home.

Well, I lied. Using my teleportation ability, I sneaked inside the library everyday and went inside my personal laboratory. There are indeed academe points earned from reading books so I did just that. I also took the chance to replenish my inventory of personal hygiene items especially the ones that are safe to use for babies.

I also sneaked out of the academe to take some adventurer missions on gathering herbs and alchemy materials since firstly, I really miss being with nature. Second, this is also my way of making sure that the alchemy shop that I co-own with Uncle Daejung will always have enough stocks for sale. The days just went by like that with me ignoring Caius and Clarence until I heard news that they sincerely apologized to the grandmaster for being rude but I still did not show myself or speak to them after that.

Just like I anticipated, it did not take even a week when I received another distress message from my babies. Unlike that time when I felt it for the first time with Khalil and Kara when Kayden was about to give birth to them, I am no longer confused and in panic now. I was calmer and was able to easily pinpoint where the distress messages came from. It was clearly time for Dimitri to give birth to our twins this time.
