Inheriting a Lost Bloodline, My First Task is to have heirs?!-Chapter 631 - Just say you miss me

After making sure that Lark is comfortable with his new room in the palace and also after having a good meal with everybody, I was finally able to leave the palace with peace of mind. It was really hard making sure that you give equal attention to 4 husbands (1 in the early stage of pregnancy) and 7 infants.

When people said before that once you have children, you will discover a miniature version of yourself, I never believed it back then. Now that I have so many of them around me, they were all equals parts of me and their respective fathers. Sometimes, they are testing my patience when they are all together and whining for attention.

Just like their fathers and well, me, some of the children are dramatic, some are loud, some are clingy and needy, a few crybabies here and there, and many other crazy combinations of personalities. I couldn’t help but reflect on how each of my husbands were during the time that I met them for the first time and during all these months that I have learned every bit about them. The children that I have with them really share traits with each of them way more than just their physical attributes!

Well, what can we do? These things are all hereditary!

I could only smile helplessly at the current situation. These kids are all still in their infancy but the traits are already showing. I wonder how everything will be once they are a bit older including the ones that were recently born.

In the middle of the morning, I left the palace to go to the little white house where Laerad was staying. I appeared in that beautiful field of flowers once more that I have not seen for quite some time.

I haven’t even enjoyed the view even for a few seconds when I felt my surroundings flicker and then I was teleported away again. When I opened my eyes, I found myself laying on a bed caged in Laerad’s arms who is currently hovering on top of me.

I looked at him in confusion while the look he gave me was of lustful hunger and longing. I don’t even understand what is happening or how this came to be!

What? Is that it? No warm up, proper conversations or anything? Just pouncing on me?

I stared into his eyes and a smirk appeared on my face. I saw him leaning towards me for a kiss but just before he succeeded, I teleported out of the room and into the gazebo by the lake. I sat calmly by the seats there and waited for the grumpy deity to arrive to where I was. 𝗳𝗿𝐞𝕖𝘄𝗲𝕓𝗻𝚘𝚟𝕖𝐥.𝚌𝕠𝕞

It did not even take a minute when the surroundings flickered once more and I saw him appear, standing at the outer area of the lake, just by the entrance to the bridge where the path to the gazebo is. He was glaring at me as he stomped and walked briskly towards me. He did not even wait to reach me as he started shouting, "How dare you escape from me? What was that about?! You don’t want me anymore, is that it? Is it because you have more husbands now?!"

I know it was not the time to react this way but I ended up laughing out loud at his outburst. I laughed for a few seconds before that naughty smirk returned to my face. I then asked teasingly, "Can’t take it anymore, huh?"

His face flushed in embarrassment as I ignored the rest of the complaints he screamed earlier and went straight to the main issue. He stuttered to explain himself as he said, "I- Uh- The children! The children are hungry!"

My eyes stared at him for a few seconds then my eyes slowly trailed towards his abdomen. He suddenly covered his belly as if that will stop me from being able to communicate with the children.

I asked the children if they were hungry or if they were ever deprived of food for the last few weeks and the answer that I got were playful chuckles. They responded that they were always fed on time and never went hungry. They then sold off their father by saying, he is the only one that is always hungry for me.

I smiled victoriously as my eyes trailed back to Laerad’s face. I then mouthed towards him the word, "Liar". His eyes widened as he looked towards his belly realizing that his babies has sold him off that quickly.

His head snapped back up and he glared at me again. He then looked away angrily with a "hmpf". I chuckled again and went straight to what I came here for. I asked how everything is going in Tadhana and the world tree realm.

His head slowly looked at me with a face screaming "You are unbelievable!" I looked at him with one eyebrow raised asking wordlessly, "What?"

He sighed and spoke softly this time, "You did not even hug or kiss me. You wouldn’t even ask how I was? Are you still angry? Didn’t you even miss me?" His eyes glistened as if he was about to cry any second now.

I smiled at him thinking, "If the angry and grumpy version doesn’t work, he goes to the pitiful and bullied look, huh? Did he learn this from the husbands at the palace?"

I started speaking as if I was trying my best to think hard, "Hmm... Well... How are you recently?" Laerad puffed his cheeks and replied, "I am fine! We are fine! Can’t you at least tell me you miss me and be sincere about it? You-"

Before he can protest further, I teleported straight in front of him and gave him a lingering kiss till he was breathless. It made him dazed for a few seconds which was enough time for me to bring him over one of the seats at the gazebo. Instead of placing him on the cushion, I laid him on the wide divan sofa we placed on one side of the gazebo.

Before the guy recovers from being kissed till he turned dumb, I have started undressing him quickly. There is really something sexy about him looking disheveled and dazed laying in front of me that makes my self-control snap easily.
