Interstellar Beast World: All My Husbands Are Powerful and Rich!-Chapter 140: When did my luck get this good?
Today, many shops along the bustling streets had set up temporary platforms outside their doors, openly auctioning male beastfolk.
Quite a few females were bidding.
"Female Master, do you see that building ahead?" Nix quickly pointed in another direction, clearly anxious that Rory might develop an interest in the auction scene. "That’s the most famous company in the galaxy—Starlight Prime Tech."
He was deliberately trying to redirect her attention.
"Female Master, shall we go take a look? They have all kinds of rare and high-end items there."
So that was Starlight Prime Tech. The name stirred an old memory.
Dax Mayer.
Since their match had been dissolved, she hadn’t contacted that sly fox once.
Rory shook her head. "Let’s not."
If they ran into each other, it would be awkward. And she didn’t actually need to buy anything from there.
"Let’s go somewhere else."

Inside Starlight Prime Tech.
Dax stood by a towering floor-to-ceiling window, watching Rory leave with Nix and Xarion. His complexion had turned pale, and disappointment shadowed his eyes.
An elder standing beside him sighed. "Lord Dax, she hasn’t gone far. If you go now, you can still catch up."
"I can’t." Dax pressed a hand over his face, his voice strained. "If she wanted to see me, she wouldn’t have walked away."
Her decision not to enter Starlight Prime Tech was clear enough.
"She doesn’t want to see me. If I go now, I’ll only ruin her mood."
The elder fell silent, unsure how to comfort him.
Through the glass, Dax watched Rory enter another shop with her two matches, laughing lightly as she selected a rare mineral and a piece of precious wood.
He turned to his assistant. "Send the gift I prepared for her. Deliver it as a prize."
If she knew it was from him, she would never accept it.
So this was the only way.
"Yes, Lord Dax."
The assistant hurried off to make arrangements.

After purchasing the mineral and rare timber she needed, Rory was about to leave when a staff member approached her.
"Honored female, to celebrate the upcoming Ten-Thousand Females Festival, our store has prepared a lottery event for all customers starting yesterday."
A display board was brought forward.
"In addition to commemorative prizes for every female customer, we are offering three major awards."
"Third prize: ten Rank Seven beast cores."
"Second prize: the newest model hovercar."
"And first prize—the grand prize for this year’s festival—a starlight castle in the Central District, spanning one hundred thousand acres."
"You purchased two items, so you are entitled to two draws."
The device was respectfully handed to her. "You may begin."
Rory was stunned. A castle as a prize? The Central District’s merchants were truly extravagant.
Or was it some kind of trap? The kind where you keep buying but never actually win?
Half doubtful, she tapped the screen. Three seconds later, the spinning display stopped.
Second Prize.
She blinked. Had she seen that correctly?
"When did my luck get this good?"
"Congratulations, honored female," the staff member announced cheerfully. "You’ve won the second prize—a brand-new hovercar. Please leave your address, and we will deliver it to your residence."
"You still have one draw remaining."
Still dazed, Rory tapped again.
Three seconds later... First Prize.
Her eyes widened dramatically.
"Nix... I’m not imagining this, am I? I just won the grand prize too?"
A castle?
"Female Master, it’s real," Nix said, grinning broadly. "Congratulations."
The staff members were practically glowing. "You are incredibly fortunate! Congratulations on winning our grand prize—a starlight castle."
Mission accomplished. Bonus secured.
Xarion leaned lazily against a display rack, glassy eyes filled with confusion. Was the shop owner insane? Did he even earn enough in a lifetime to afford a castle like that?
This had to be a scam.
Rory suspected as much—until officials from the Central District Property Administration were summoned on the spot to process the ownership transfer.
When it was finished and she stood outside holding the certificate of ownership, she still felt like she was dreaming.
"Nix... I just bought a gemstone and a piece of rare wood, and I got a castle?"
So food really did fall from the sky.
Nix was equally astonished. "These merchants must be going all out for this year’s festival."
In previous years, the top prize had been a modest estate at most. A full castle was unprecedented.
"And we actually won it."
"Female Master, I know where the castle is. Shall we go see it now?"
Rory shook her head. "Let’s wait until Vincent and Yuel return tonight. We’ll all go together."
It was getting late, and the baking ingredients she had ordered earlier were probably already delivered.
She wanted to practice making the birthday cake first. "Let’s head back. I’ll make something delicious for you."
She summoned the small starship and returned to the manor with Nix and Xarion.
Though she couldn’t deny her luck seemed suspiciously extraordinary, the legal transfer documents were genuine.
Still, she would ask Vincent tonight.
With him there, no one would dare deceive her.

Back at Starlight Prime Tech.
"Lord Dax," the staff member reported, "we delivered the hovercar and castle as instructed. She was very happy."
Dax had already watched the entire scene through surveillance.
He nodded faintly. "Well done. Collect your bonus."
"Thank you, Lord Dax."
The employee left quickly.
Ten billion star coins as a bonus—no wonder the staff thought their Lord had been unusually generous lately.

At the manor.
Rory set the first cake she’d baked in front of Nix and Xarion. "Nix, tell me how it tastes."
Xarion couldn’t taste anything, but she still cut him a slice. Even without flavor, he obediently ate what his Female Master made.
Nix took a careful bite, savoring it thoughtfully. "Female Master... it’s sweet and fragrant. It’s delicious."
He adored the flavor. He ate enthusiastically, and in his excitement, his feline ears popped out. A smudge of cream dotted his nose, making him look irresistibly cute.
Rory couldn’t help laughing. She reached out and smeared more cream across his cheek.
"Female Master?" He blinked up at her, face covered in frosting, utterly confused.
"Why did you put food on my face?"
"You’re adorable like this," she said, charmed beyond measure.
Resisting the urge to pet his ears, she stood. "This cake still needs improvement. I’ll go make another. You two keep eating."
Nix wiped at the cream on his face and turned to Xarion.
"Am I really cute?"
With food smeared all over his face—how could that be cute?
Xarion glanced at him lazily. "Stupidly cute."
Nix frowned but said nothing.
He stood up, assuming the dignified posture of an elder brother.
"Xarion, even if you’re Rank Eleven, in this household seniority depends on how long you’ve been with the Female Master. You arrived last. That makes you the youngest."
Xarion thought for a moment and nodded. "Understood."
"Since you’re the youngest, you have to listen to me," Nix declared. "Show me your ears."
Xarion didn’t know why—but remembering Vincent’s warning not to fight in front of the Female Master, he obediently revealed them.
In a flash, Nix scooped up a dollop of cream and smeared it across Xarion’s face.
"Haha! Now we match! Xarion, you’re stupidly cute too!"
Stupidly cute...
Xarion stared blankly. He couldn’t fight in front of the Female Master. But could he drag this idiot outside and beat him there?
