Interstellar Number One Farmer: I Only Want To Farm!-Chapter 336 - 106: Huahua on the Attack (Part 4)
Su Xiaocai comforted it, and Huahua reluctantly calmed down. Only when they had left the room did Su Xiaocai release his grip on Huahua.
Suddenly, Huahua leaped up and quickly chased after them.
It looked as if it had spotted something enticing.
Su Xiaocai was worried about Huahua; previously, it had shown aggression towards Vice Principal Jun Ya. If it really scratched someone, Huahua could be in serious trouble.
"I’ll go after Huahua." Su Xiaocai left the auction. Ji Li said to his parents, "I’ll go out and take a look too. Huahua is a very obedient cat; something must be going on."
Father Ji said, "Go, go, before it runs too far." He didn’t want any uncontrollable incidents at the banquet.
The plant expert was engaged in conversation with Xue Feiqun, "Thank you, Mr. Xue, for sponsoring this. Being able to acquire such crucial research data will surely advance our research on dealing with the Insect Man."
"Research well; the future of humanity is in your hands." Vice Principal Jun Ya smiled.
As the words left his mouth, the Vice Principal’s expression changed drastically. He pushed Xue Feiqun aside and raised his arms to block.
Golden cat claws tore through the layer of clothing, piercing directly through the skin, breaking through Vice Principal Jun Ya’s defense.
He hurriedly clutched his arm.
The professor shouted loudly, "Whose crazy cat is this?"
"Boss Xue, Professor, you go first. I’ll deal with this cat."
The professor hesitated, but Xue Feiqun was decisive. He was a big boss and didn’t want any mishaps. "Mr. Zeng is a Vice Admiral, highly capable in combat. Don’t worry." So he left first. After all, he was a kind-hearted person; even if the cat injured him, he wouldn’t hold it against the cat.
The bodyguards were just outside the corridor. With one order from Xue Feiqun, the bodyguards entered to assist the Vice Principal.
The professor breathed a sigh of relief, "Animals these days go crazy at the drop of a hat, and they even bring them to public events."
Huahua darted and leapt quickly in the corridor, attacking continuously. Vice Principal Jun Ya hastily dodged, but compared to Huahua, he was several steps slower.
The bodyguards wielded truncheons, ready to strike the cat.
But the cat targeted only the Vice Principal, and it was remarkably fierce, capable of running and jumping on walls, assaulting someone much taller and stronger than itself from multiple angles, methodically.
It seemed bizarre no matter how you looked at it. 𝙧𝙚𝙚𝔀𝒆𝓫𝓷𝙤𝓿𝒆𝙡.𝒄𝙤𝓶
The bodyguards couldn’t easily approach; the target was too small, making accidental injury likely.
The Vice Principal had already been scratched on the face, leaving a bloody mark.
He told the people behind him, "Aren’t you going to act?"
"A former Vice Admiral can’t even handle a cat?" Su Xiaocai came out of the corridor, staring at the Vice Principal’s face.
"Huahua, come back." Huahua, eyes red with fury, couldn’t hear the call. Su Xiaocai stepped forward, swiftly grabbing it by the neck in mid-air.
Huahua still wanted to scratch, but Su Xiaocai held it down, "Calm down, or I’ll shave your fur when we get back."
Huahua let out an angry growl, seemingly dissatisfied with Su Xiaocai’s actions. Yet it calmed down, though its gaze never left Vice Principal Jun Ya.
Stopped effortlessly by a young girl, the bodyguards felt bewildered as they quickly stepped forward, standing protectively before the Vice Principal.
"It attacked me. Did you command it?" The principal, with his hands covering his face, retreated nervously as if fearful of Huahua.
"No. If I had commanded it, I wouldn’t pick such an occasion."
"So, you’re saying, given a choice, you would have it attack me." Vice Principal Jun Ya, Zeng Xiujin, said with disdain, "Who knows if it’s poisonous."
"I have no grudge against you, so why would I let it attack you?" Su Xiaocai’s tone shifted, "If you’re worried about poison, we should head to the hospital. I’m sorry I didn’t keep an eye on it. Can I take a look at your wound?"
"It’s already injured someone; is ’sorry’ enough? You shouldn’t have brought it into the venue at all." The professor outside the door was furious, feeling utterly unjustly afflicted.
