Professor Jezebyra gave me an awkward pat on the shoulder before silently drifting away, leaving me with my thoughts for a moment before I turned towards Sera, hoping to compare what I had made.

The blonde was still in the midst of her heating phase though, which made me a little more worried since she was behind me, so either she worked slowly and more methodically than I did or I had rushed through parts of mine...

I was hoping that I wasn’t an idiot and had just messed up my first ever attempt of anything in this class, but I wouldn’t know for certain until Sera was done... and thankfully just observing the blonde from the side helped calm me down again.

This was something that did ’worry’ me though since I was thinking constantly with my lower head just as much as I was with my upper, because the thing I focused on the most was how amazing her tits looked in her robes and enjoying the ways they jiggled with some of her movements.

Whether she was doing that on purpose or they were just that large that they jiggled like that freely was something I wasn’t sure of just yet, but as someone with a nice pair of tits myself I think it might have been a bit of both...

My ruby red concoction was the same color as hers but it was nowhere near as shiny, which was likely the result of the lower quality Mana Water that had been used; it stung a little to know I had done that ’bad’ of a job, but at the same time I had to start somewhere, right?

"That looks... good. You made a nice batch of Healing Salve."

Sera gave me a nice, kind smile that felt far too much like an adult reassuring a kid that the horrendous crayon drawing they had just made was actually art and not just scribbling... which made me feel a bit worse, but self pity was such a boring emotion...

Lust was better by far, but I couldn’t get overly horny right now so I just gave her a smile back and said "Please just... don’t lie. That doesn’t really make me feel better...", immediately earning a nod as she corrected herself, saying "It’s a very low quality batch of Healing Salve. Um... the Mana Water in particular is... more water than ’mana’, which is the problem..."

"Professor Jezebyra told me that already... Any tips instead of just stating the obvious..?"

"Practice. It’s something that is going to take a lot of practice to get right, at least in short timeframes. If you had a recipe that called for a few minutes of downtime you might be able to get away with it, or if you prepared Mana Water in bulk before doing any brewing... though that isn’t wise either..."

I nodded and looked at the pathetic Mana Water in the beaker, wondering if this was supposed to be my real ’wake up call’ after these few days of being here or if that was going to come tonight when I took a brief trip to one of the Dungeons.

Maybe if I had been actually studying and practicing instead of just having sex I could have done better now... though at the same time how much of an improvement would I have had if I had done that instead of having fun..?

That was something I wasn’t at all certain about, but I was also certain that I was a gigantic idiot since I didn’t have any of my items actually on me at this time, and they might have helped me a hell of a lot here...

Though that also raised the whole debate of whether I should use them before I even had a foundation to work with or not, since what I had just done was a big learning moment that I might have missed out on with their help.

I didn’t really know, and I was also coming back down to the realization that I was quite stupid with a lot of things and smart with others, but sadly my smarts were being pushed down every single time I got pushed down since I was just... cruising through this life as of now.

Maybe that really needed to change, maybe it didn’t really matter since I had only been here for a couple of days, but whatever choice I made I had a feeling it would be the ’right’ one regardless.

"Alright everyone, congratulations~! You all made Healing Salve~! Now we still have some more time so I think we should just do it again while I come up with a more... captivating lesson plan..."

Professor Jezebyra gave us a wry smile before handing out another batch of ingredients, and this time I went ahead and took the time to thoroughly imbue my water with a lot of mana just to make sure it actually good, which in turn yielded a better batch of Healing Salve.

It took a bit longer than everyone else though, so I had a few eyes on me as the others all just lounged around after completing their second batch, something that flustered me a little when I was at the end of the recipe.

I finished it though and the moment the bell rang I was ready to leave, but at the same time I wanted to ask a few more questions and get to speak to Professor Jezebyra just a little bit more... which I apparently was the only one doing so, thankfully enough.
