Right as I began to leave my Civilization and Society Class, Professor Hollishire stopped me at the door with both Lu’Shaki and Morgana at my side, causing the two to pause for a moment before they waved me goodbye, sensing that our Professor wanted privacy.

"I had a question for you, Natalie, regarding the knowledge that you shared with the class today about Confederation Of Fangs. You were rather critical about the relationship that was maintained by the Zara Pack and the Rose Thorn Dryads... why?"

The olive skinned Professor stared at me with raw curiosity as she walked me back to her desk, and the entire time I felt my heart pounding inside of my chest as I racked my brain trying to figure out if I had slipped up on something.

Meanwhile the Rose Thorn Dryads tend to keep things close to their chest and refuse to even interact with some of the other groups within the Confederation, but they have a ’strong’ bond with the Zara Pack thanks to a multitude of marriages between the two. I just... have heard of a few of those marriages being extremely short lived or extremely toxic, and yet it is something that both flaunt as some sort of achievement..."

"Well, to most of the world - or at least the Confederation - the marriage itself is all that matters, not what happens in said marriage. The amount of children born from those marriages is three times as high as any other, so..?"

I blushed a little since I knew the reason why, and after a moment Professor Hollishire blushed a little as well, the realization dawning in her eyes as I said "Caninekin go into heat easily, and Dryads are... technically speaking, they are extremely close to Nymphs, so... yeah..."
