By the time I shot my final arrow the lingering image of that Beastkin had blurred out, almost fading completely as I dragged in deep, even breaths that helped calm down my heart that was hammering inside of my chest like crazy.

The realization was still there but the reasoning I gave myself helped me accept that my actions were just and that there was no single reason for me to be upset about the lives I have taken; I told myself over and over again as I stared at the now freed slaves that I had done something good with these ’bad’ actions.

Doing this in the game and doing it in real life was never going to feel the same, but it did sort of scare me at how eerily ’similar’ they were in terms of execution; both had been so simple as applying a small amount of pressure on a specific thing, and they both achieved the same result.

Tapping a key or clicking a mouse had no ramifications in the real world and only took a small amount of force, while the releasing of a bowstring was simply releasing something from my hand and relinquishing the ’authority’ I had over it.

Both ended a life, but now that life was real and it had real weight behind it; it was hard for me to accept, yet it was something that I needed to accept, something that I needed to come to terms with from here on out.

And... I don’t know if I should be scared or if I should be grateful that the weight of my actions was surprisingly light on my shoulders; I might not be okay with it, but this... this was a burden I was more than willing to bear.

Just looking back at that Elf still stabbing the corpse of that Aviankin gave me everything I needed to be okay with my actions, though I didn’t once doubt that tonight, when the shadows of night crept over me, I was going to see each of them on the fringes of my vision.

I didn’t doubt that whatsoever...

But perhaps that was why I should be rather grateful that I now lived in a world like this, because the moment the killing was over and the moment that the interrogation started, all three of my friends rushed back over to me.

Kha’Miero was the closest and therefore the first to step up to me, her hand gently resting atop my own as she slowly lowered it to my side, letting the weight of the bow in that hand rest more comfortably than it had been a second ago.

Lu’Shaki jogged up and instantly took her spot behind me, her weapon strapped to her back despite it still being somewhat dirty from prior use, yet she was more concerned about me as she rested her hands gently on my hips and stared down at me quietly, waiting for me to speak first.

Then there was Taji, who strolled on up with a grin as she asked "So how’d it feel, Natalie~? Killing someone~? Did it feel good~? Easy~?", her pearly teeth glittering as always as she did her usual routine, though there was a hint of tenderness in her eyes that she failed to hide.

"Shut up Taji."

The Hyenakin just snickered and clasped her hands behind her head, raking her gaze over me and licking her lips before she turned back towards the pit and nodded to herself, saying "From the looks of it you got four kills all for yourself~! Quite the tally for a first timer~!"

I just kept quiet and stared at her, watching as she turned back with an even wider grin and wondering what she was going to say next, only for our large Combat Professor to interrupt as she stepped over and said "We’re getting some answers from those three, if you wanna hear ’em."

Her gaze lingered on Taji in particular, causing the Hyenakin to shrug before she spun on her heel and sauntered back down towards the gathered crowd, and after she was gone Professor Bo’Katari let out a sigh and murmured "She’s trouble, that’s for damn sure..."

And yet I could hear the soft tinge to her tone that made me blink a few times, only for me to raise a brow when I noticed that she was watching the futanari’s hips as she made her way down; it wasn’t for too long though since Bo’Katari turned back to me with a grin and added "We’re gonna be here for a little while, so Natalie, I’m gonna need to make use of that pretty mouth of yours here in a minute~!"

She winked at me and left me there with two other horny futanari, both of whom were nodding in agreement as they took off after her a moment later; it was kind of amusing just how excellent of a distraction lust could be, and the feeling of Lu’Shaki’s hand on my rear or the steady, warm presence of Kha’Miero pushed that lingering fear away for now, replacing it with the familiar heat of arousal.

Hmm...

It would seem that things are... moving at an intriguing pace...

Watching that above average girl walk off between those two studs, my forked tongue slid out over my lips and my body got flooded with arousal as I recalled everything I had done to her before... and everything that I would do to her again. 𝒇𝙧𝙚𝓮𝙬𝙚𝓫𝒏𝓸𝓿𝓮𝒍.𝓬𝙤𝓶

This time though it would be real, and this time I was determined to obtain this lost soul for myself, because if I managed to get her... if I managed to bring this fledgling over to my side and break her down only to rebuild her how I wanted her, well...

All those pesky Goddesses that ruined everything, all of those irritating rules that were binding me here... it would have all been worth it after I destroy everything and remade it in my image.

And that first step... it had already been taken, yet the poor little lamb didn’t even realize she had started walking straight into the ravenous maw of a Fiend who was determined to devour her whole.
