Island God: Going From Level 1 To World Ruler-Chapter 71: Orc Siege (Episode 4)
***Author Note***
Hey! The main reason for this author note is to inform all of my readers of a recent technical error in my chaps.
You may have noticed the publishing hours recently have been all over the place. This is not because of a shortage of Chapters, so I’d like to clarify that firstly.
The reason why is because an informant told me that some Chapters may be published under a specific word count. After their immense verification and trust in their words, I decided to try it out.
But I have discovered that this "new rule" is not in place and that the word count for Chapters are still the normal amount.
Moving forward, all Chapters will be the same length as before (unless extra long).
Sorry for the delay and miscommunication. This disclaimer will be in all of the shortened Chapters.
To make up for it, there will be an extra Chapter release tomorrow!

"D-Dorhal?" Bzzrt exclaimed with shock. He was familiar with the commander as well. Maybe even more so than the king.
Dormon did not utter a word, simply staring at Dorhal with a disgusted expression on his face.
"Will you not give orders even now? Will you wait until Midas comes and butchers every single orc in this valley?" Dorhal said again in his powerful voice.
"Silence, fool!" Dormon’s voice roared outward, followed by a gust of wind. "You are merely an inferior copy of me. Do NOT pretend as if you are the king, little brother." He said with condescension.
"Ergh," Dorhal grunted, his eyes peering up at his brother with rage. "It seems I was right. You have isolated yourself in this castle for over two decades. Not a single one of our orc citizens has even seen your face. You have forgotten about the oath you must fulfill to your kin. To your brethren." He said with a low tone.
"Shut your trap!" Dormon retorted with anger, "Don’t you dare try to reprimand me! Brethren? Those pathetic insects are no brethren of mine. I alone am the king... the only other orc in these mountains that shares my blood is you." He stood up.
"I won’t kill Midas so easily." He began to say, "I will use him to the best of my ability, and throw him away to the wolves."
Dorhal furrowed his brows with confusion. He didn’t know what his brother was going on about.
"Bzzrt!" Dormon suddenly yelled, capturing the mosquito’s attention.
"Tell my brother about the message you left on my doorstep. Since you are here now, you can tell us yourself." The orc king shouted.
Dorhal glanced over at Bzzrt.
"Mosquito King... I almost didn’t recognize you under all that mess." Dorhal said, "It is a shame you have fallen under the foot of such a disastrous force." 𝐟𝗿𝐞𝚎𝚠𝐞𝚋𝕟𝐨𝚟𝐞𝕝.𝕔𝕠𝚖
"Hmph!" Bzzrt retorted, "Don’t talk... You sound like a frog in a well." His voice carried a sharp tone of slight hostility.
Dorhal’s eyes widened for a split second, as though shocked.
"Fine... the message I want to relay is short anyway." Bzzrt continued, "Dormon... you must meet with the King of Demadur Island when the sun dips below the horizon. The meeting area has already been decided by his greatness." Bzzrt said before turning and pointing outside, "It will be directly out there. On the platform of your castle. The topic of discussion is simple... infinite peace and prosperity for the orc species of Demadur."
Dormon remained silent for a few seconds, his face shadowed.
"K-king? Of Demadur?" He said in a low tone, his eyes staring at the ground with boiling rage and violent thoughts.
However, his clenched fists loosened as he glanced back up at Bzzrt. He then grinned.
"So he likes to call himself king now, huh? Let’s see how kingly he feels when I grab him using my Absolute Dominator ability and crush his skull." His eyes were wide, almost obsessive in appearance.
"Dormon!" Dorhal shouted at that moment, "Attempting to end Midas so hastily might lead to issues. After all, this is a game of chance. There is a chance we beat him, but if not, there is an overwhelming chance that he shows no mercy."
"Mercy!?" Dormon immediately retorted, "That is something that I will show, not him! He is in no position of authority over me!"
Dorhal ground his teeth on hearing this, frustration flashing across his pupils.
’The fool is too damn delusional. Ever since we were children, he has always been an insecure wreck. He was always weaker than me... inferior, and considered to be a loner. I was the leader. The powerful tyrant in my youth. It seems this jealousy and insecurity have given rise to a bitter and evil ego. One that doesn’t give in to anything to maintain its security.’ Dorhal thought to himself, disappointed.
Still, he could not do anything right now.
His brother was the ruler of his race by way of heirship. Since Dormon was born one second earlier than Dorhal, he was given the right by the Gods to take the throne.
On top of that, Dormon also had Absolute Dominator now, so defeating him in combat was an entirely different task compared to before.
"So what is your plan then?" Dorhal said in a low tone. He was frustrated. He didn’t care about his brother’s cockiness. In his mind, the safety and longevity of his people were of utmost importance. "Will you simply scream at Midas during the meeting? Tell them that he is worthless? Do you think that will fare well in conversation? Will it help our people, or will it just feed your ego?"
Dormon looked down at his brother with fearsome eyes.
"If he wants to have a talk about prosperity... he can have one with me, the lord of the orcs. And if he has a plan that is to my liking, I will allow it." Dormon said with a pause.
Bzzrt looked up at him. Silent, but hopeful.
’Maybe this will still work, despite this brute’s horrible personality.’ The mosquito mused.
Dorhal had a similar look on his face.
’Hmm... do some senses still remain in his head?’ He thought.
"However, surrender is not an option. If he wishes to team up, that is fine by me." Dormon smiled, "Because that way... in the future, I can butcher him and take everything he ever claimed to be my own. No risk... no worries." His grin grew larger.
