She did wish John to be by her side in the same sect if possible, but more than that, she didn't want to rob him of his opportunities.

"Our business here is done," Azelis said before she looked at her fellow Emperor-rank tamers. "We will take our leave now."

After saying that, she didn't wait for responses and waved her hand as a light shot out from her towards the sky before it turned into a giant black dragon.

John found himself floating, carried by mysterious wind alongside Azelis, as both of them flew up and arrived on the dragon's back.

Looking at John, Azelis said.

"Do you want to visit your family before leaving? I don't want you to leave for at least a year once we go to the Heavenrend region unless there's some emergency in your family."

"Though I doubt you want to leave." Azelis chuckled. "The Heavenrend region is completely different than the other four regions. It's connected to the bigger part of this world, and everything is highly advanced there."

"Yeah, Yuna told me I'd get my mind blown once I'm there," John smiled and added. "As for my family, they are already with me. My Pet Monsters. So I have no reason to return here or visit anywhere."

Seeing her uncertain expression, John clarified promptly with a chuckle, "As far as I know, I came to this world alone. I have no recollection of my parents, and I grew up on my own. For me, being a Tamer and becoming stronger is everything."

John nodded and promptly lay down before he began snoring.
