Chapter 47: Chapter 47 Chaos Brawl (Part 2)

"Come!" the Primordial Saint bellowed, and the intangible Tao Intent spread out.

With a swing of the Green Duckweed Sword in hand, tremendous Sword Qi blasted towards the Primordial Saint.

The Primordial Saint didn’t duck or dodge, letting the Sword Qi strike the Celestial Cloud above him, leaving him completely unscathed.

"Tongtian, are you sure you want to use the Green Duckweed Sword to fight?" the Primordial Saint sneered disdainfully.

Although the Green Duckweed Sword was Tongtian’s Magical Treasure of Dao certification, compared to his Pangu Banner, it was indeed of a lower tier!

To even think of breaking through the defense of Celestial Cloud was sheer folly!

Furthermore, his understanding of the Saint realm was even higher than Tongtian’s. If he had the Executioner Immortal Four Swords, he might have some concerns.

"What’s the matter?" Tongtian spoke lightly, holding the Green Duckweed Sword and twirling it into a sword flower, "Without these Magical Treasures, you’re incapable of fighting?"

Indeed, he didn’t have many Magical Treasures at his disposal, to be precise, he had given away many fine treasures to his disciples.

"Twisting facts!" the Primordial Saint huffed disdainfully. Since Tongtian remained obstinate, he would no longer show any mercy!

Saints are not unkillable; under the protection of the Heavenly Tao, they would be revived instantly, but he did not mind humiliating Tongtian a bit!

The Pangu Banner fell, cleaving towards Tongtian, wrapped in a white brilliance.

The Heaven-opening Qi Blade, one of the four great powers of the Pangu Banner, with the essence of destruction, could tear through Chaos and rip apart space-time. This was why the Dao Ancestor forbade Saints from acting in the Primordial World.

Facing a strike that could destroy heavens and earth, Tongtian’s eyes showed no fear, but excitement instead, and with a clean, brisk motion, one sword.

Blocked!

Even Lord Taishang was somewhat shocked by the scene before him.

Unexpectedly, under the condition that both Magical Treasures and cultivation were at a disadvantage, Tongtian could still so easily catch the divine skill inherent to the Pangu Banner.

The Primordial Saint was even more agitated than Lord Taishang. His strike was not a probe but secretly strengthened with additional force.

To have it so casually blocked was utterly abnormal!

Looking at the solidified Sword Intent around Tongtian and his posture that seemed arrogant toward the heavens and the earth, the Primordial Saint said with an ugly expression, "Tongtian, have you restored your Heavenly Tao Sword Heart?"

The Sword Heart, what every Sword Cultivator pursues in their lifetime, the core of the Sword Path!

There are many levels of Sword Heart, and as Saints comprehend the rules of the Heavenly Tao, what Tongtian had grasped was also the Heavenly Tao Sword Heart. 𝐟𝕣𝕖𝐞𝐰𝕖𝚋𝐧𝗼𝚟𝐞𝕝.𝗰𝐨𝐦

Only the Heavenly Tao Sword Heart could amplify the power of the sword to such an extent.

Damn it, Tongtian’s Heavenly Tao Sword Heart was shattered the moment the Jie School was destroyed; and with so many years in a state of confusion, how had he suddenly recovered?

The Heavenly Tao Sword Heart?

Tongtian began to laugh. His Sword Heart had now reached the Great Tao!

Perfect timing to test that one move!

Recalling that breathtaking strike, Tongtian raised the Green Duckweed Sword high, as numerous sword-type Magical Treasures emerged and converged on it.

Although far from matching the great laugh, it still left Lord Taishang and the Primordial Saint dumbfounded.

What can a bunch of swords of varying grades possibly do?

However, Tongtian provided the answer.

"Gather!"

All of Tongtian’s Immortal Swords, with the Green Duckweed Sword as the hilt, fused into a gargantuan Heaven-piercing sword.

"Hmph, mere show!" the Primordial Saint recovered and still spoke with disdain.

A collection of low-grade Spiritual Treasures coming together—still a pile of junk. What harm could they possibly do to his Celestial Cloud?

But the very next moment, he thought differently!

"Slash!" Along with Tongtian’s cold voice.

The thousands of swords that had merged into one immense blade sliced down like a tangible entity towards the Two Saints!

That streak of sword light, peerless, One Sword Pierces the Heavens!

The elongated sword light collided fiercely with the Heaven and Earth Mysterious Yellow Exquisite Tower and the various Celestial Clouds.

Boom!

The powerful energy even cleared the ubiquitous chaotic currents, making the Two Saints’ complexions change drastically. How could this edge be possible!

The Celestial Cloud and the Exquisite Tower actually failed to trigger any effects, as if soaring above the heavens, rendering the two Innate Treasures powerless to retaliate.

"Great Tao Sword Heart!" A cry of surprise suddenly arose in the secret chamber of Zixiao Palace, followed by a heavy sigh.

"The future has become indistinct."

Crack! Two sounds, one after the other, yet they instantly turned the faces of the Primordial Saint and Taishang green.

Both Innate Treasures began to show cracks under the strain, causing the Two Saints’ hearts to bleed.

These were the Magical Treasures they valued the most!

"Tongtian, stop, we admit defeat!"

Tongtian snorted coldly, dissipating the sword light; although he won this cut, it also cost him a great deal of low-level Spirit Swords.

His Great Tao Sword Heart could suppress the power of Innate Treasures, but after all, they were Treasures and not comparable to ordinary Spiritual Treasures.

Compared to that person during the time of enlightenment, he was still lacking; he merely faced the Treasures, while that person faced the entire Heavenly Tao!

"What kind of unorthodox methods are you using!" the Primordial Saint incredulously looked at Tongtian, whom he had thought would be easily victorious.

How could he have become so strong in an instant!

Hearing this, Tongtian let out a disdainful laugh, finding it amusing that the Primordial Saint could dismiss the Great Tao Sword Heart as unorthodox.

"Release Yunxiao!" Tongtian gazed at Taishang, his expression indifferent.

Taishang looked at the slight crack on the Exquisite Tower, his heart aching, but he also knew that Tongtian had changed from before and that even if they could win, it wouldn’t be worth the cost.

Just the damage to the Exquisite Tower and the Celestial Clouds would require countless Heavenly and Earthly Treasures to repair. If Tongtian damaged one or two more, Taishang felt like he would rather die.

Then, grudgingly, he said, "Fine."

"Brother!" Primordial Saint was somewhat unwilling, but then he thought of Tongtian’s sword strike and felt helpless.

Why was it that without the boost of Merit Points from the God-Sealing Tribulation, Tongtian’s strength had not decreased but increased instead?

"I have already notified Lord Taishang. Just go find him," Taishang said emotionlessly.

He took the Primordial Saint and returned to Zixiao Palace; they had to hurry and repair their Magical Treasures.

Kunlun Mountain, Qilin Cliff, the place where the Qilin perished during the Dragon-Han Great Tribulation, had now become the prison of Yunxiao, one of the Three Xiao Goddesses from the Jie School.

"It’s been... a long time," a faint sigh echoed at the bottom of Qilin Cliff.

Yunxiao’s stunning visage was pale as gold leaf, weak and listless.

This Qilin Cliff was not so simple; it continuously absorbed one’s Mana, and on top of that, her cultivation had been sealed by her grandmaster.

The Mana left in her body now was merely at the level of a Human Immortal; she probably wouldn’t last much longer before dying.

Yunxiao smiled wanly; she could sense that she had been granted a divine title. Was this her punishment for crippling her Second Senior Brother’s disciple?

Soon, she would be able to reunite with her Second and Third Sisters. She wondered how her master was.

Yunxiao sat on the stone platform, quietly staring at the timeless stone walls around her, filled with melancholy.

The grandmaster had visited once before, bringing news of the Jie School’s crushing defeat. That must have been a huge blow to her master, right?

After all, her master was a person of great pride and lofty spirit.

With that thought, a sense of despair emerged in Yunxiao’s heart; in the end, she would surely die here, wouldn’t she?

"Have we arrived?" Tongtian stood above the clouds, gazing indifferently down at the majestic and broad expanse of Qilin Cliff.

Behind him, Lord Taishang simply nodded: "Mhm."
