Chapter 648 – Blackmail

"Ah fuck me! Why are you so tight today, girl? Did that old bastard annoy you again?"

A naked man was going to town on a rather tall and muscular woman.

The man was barely 160 cm tall, while the woman was around 185 cm tall.

The man was pretty thin and meek, while the woman looked like she was compressing metallic structures into small cubes as a hobby.

The man had long flowing hair, while the woman had a short buzzcut.

As the two of them kept fucking, the air around them vibrated with every thrust, and the furniture in the room shook.

While the guy kept putting his all into the thrusts, the woman just lay on the bed like a corpse.

"Went too hard on the abs," the woman spoke in a cold and raspy voice. "They're cramping. I like the pain. Makes me feel alive."

"Ah, fuck, this feels really fucken good, but I feel like I'm going to feel that tomorrow as well. Don't do that too often, but please keep doing that. Wait, what did I just say? I dunno. Sorry, not coherent right now. Busy as well. Fucken hell. You enjoyin' yourself at least?"

The woman's body moved back and forth a bit as she stared at the ceiling with a distracted expression.

"Yeah, feels good," she said after a while.

The two of them kept going for several minutes, in which the guy kept going harder and harder.

The entire building began to shake, and the beautiful trees around the beautiful house began to sway back and forth.

A couple of people tending to the serene bit of nature around the house looked at the shaking surroundings with annoyance.

A gardener was having difficulties appropriately cutting down a tree as the leaves kept swinging back and forth.

"You ready?" the guy grunted. "Imma do it! I'm going to do the cummies!"

The woman just rolled her eyes at the idiotic phrasing.

"Come on! It was funny! Ha? Ha ha?" the guy grunted.

"No."

Except for the rhythmic splatting, there was silence.

"Sorry," the guy grunted. "I'm not doing it again, okay?"

"Okay."

The rhythmic splatting continued.

"Prepare yourself," the woman spoke.

The man grew excited.

Then, the woman strained her abs with all her power as she struck a pose while lying down.

The man's mouth fell open as he felt an apocalyptic force trying to turn his dick two-dimensional.

"AAAAHHHHH!"

Ding.

The small sound of a bit of paper moving outside the established rhythm of meat slapping…

BANG!

The two of them immediately split up and pulled out their weapons, aiming them at the door.

It took less than a single second between them having sex and having their weapons pointed at the door while standing in a combat-ready pose.

The last pulse of sex vibrations hadn't even passed yet.

The man focused on the hallway as he pointed both of his guns at the door.

While he was doing so, his dick was bobbing up and down, shooting powerful bullets of white liquid at the walls, shaking the house some more.

This was a Hero, and the force with which his sperm was shot out was incredible!

Naturally, his orgasm was ruined, but he was much busier with assessing the danger.

He was sure that he had just heard some papers moving!

A moment later, he glanced at the muscular woman.

She had also jumped up, which meant that he didn't just imagine things.

Someone must have been here just now.

"Can you sense anyone?" the guy asked with a serious voice.

"No," she answered.

Their perceptions had already encompassed the surrounding kilometers, but they didn't see anything out of the ordinary.

The man scanned through the entire house again.

"Wait," he said. "Did you put that paper on my desk?"

The woman's perception stretched into the man's office.

She couldn't read the contents of the paper since she couldn't directly see it, but she could feel that a stack of papers was on the desk.

Their memories were impeccable, and she didn't remember seeing a stack of papers on the desk.

"No," she answered.

The man narrowed his eyes and vanished.

The next moment, he reappeared in his office in front of a stack of paper.

The woman arrived in the office an instant after him.

The man's eyes narrowed as his mind instantly absorbed all the information on the first sheet.

"Blackmail," he said.

"Blackmail?" the woman asked with furrowed brows. "That's idiotic."

The man lifted the piece of paper and read through one of the stacks of papers.

Naturally, the woman also read all of that.

"They're trying to blackmail you with our relationship?" she asked with an annoyed tone. "That's dumb. We're the two strongest Extractors in the city."

The first stack of papers detailed their relationship and a couple of dark dealings the two of them had.

"What's the point?" the woman asked as the man kept leaving through the papers. "While we're not officially announcing all of that, this stuff isn't secret. So what if the Governor and the biggest Manufacturer are allies? We're producing plenty of Zephyx."

The Governor kept looking at the information on the piece of paper with furrowed brows. "Yes, but Aegis doesn't know."

The woman just rolled her eyes. "And they wouldn't care anyway. We deliver more Zephyx than necessary."

Eventually, the guy reached the last page of the first stack of papers.

As soon as the last page was unveiled, the atmosphere changed, and the two of them charged into the bedroom.

When they arrived, they looked at their bed in shock.

There was a head!

There was a head in their bed!

"Jim," the woman spoke in shock. "He's one of my team leads!"

"I know," the Governor answered with furrowed brows.

He looked back at the last page of the first stack.

It said that they would find some "incentive" for cooperating with the blackmailer in their bed.

None of them said anything, but deep inside, they were shaking.

Not only had the blackmailer managed to smuggle a stack of papers into a house with two Heroes inside, but they also managed to put a head into their bed while they were highly alert.

The fact that they hadn't noticed the head appearing shook them the most.

The skill required to pull something like that off in front of them was beyond ridiculous.

Both of them were confident that there was absolutely nobody inside the city that could pull off something like that.

After some seconds, the woman took a shaky breath.

She was no longer calm.

"What do they want?" she asked.

The Governor furrowed his brows and walked back into his office.

"Not much," he said. "They just want me to deliver a short message to Aegis."

"A message?" the woman asked.

The man held up the first piece of paper again.

It simply stated that the Governor had to transmit a letter to the local stronghold of Aegis.

The Governor grabbed the sealed black envelope.

"I can't see through it," the Governor said.

"Me neither," the woman answered.

Silence.

"How am I supposed to bring this to the local stronghold?" the Governor asked. "I can't just leave the city, and I can't just ask someone to come here to receive a letter. The next tribute payment is eight months away, and I don't know if they want this message to be delivered quickly or if it can wait. This is frustrating."

"Are you going to do it?" the woman asked with a bit of surprise.

Usually, when somebody tried to pull anything on the Governor, he only grew more resistant.

His defiant stance against all his opposition was what had drawn the woman to him.

He was quite silly in private, but when it mattered, he was competent and reliable.

Crksh!

The next moment, the guy tore open the letter.

"Well, I have to know what it says to find out what I'm supposed to do," the Governor said.

The two of them quickly read through the contents of the message.

The message was quite short:

"Two years.

Complete fusion happened.

Am undercover.

Come back in decades.

Will deliver.

See codes as proof."

At the bottom of the message were two long codes.

"What are these codes?" the woman asked.

"They are codes for entries in Aegis' database," the Governor said. "This person most likely belongs to Aegis if they know these specific codes."

The Governor left the room and walked towards the house's basement.

"What are these entries?" the woman asked as she followed the Governor.

The Governor activated his Barrier to open a fortified door.

"Sorry, but I can't tell you without checking them myself first," the Governor said. "Please, wait outside."

BANG!

Then, the door closed.

Inside the room, the Governor approached a console.

This was the city's central console and the only way to contact Aegis or to access Aegis' network.

The Governor logged in with his account and typed in the first code.

When he accessed the entry, his brows furrowed.

"You do not have permission to view this entry."

The Governor rubbed his chin in thought.

Meanwhile, thousands of kilometers away, in a dim room…

DING!

A black Barrier turned on.

The Left Arm opened her eyes.

'Someone tried to access the hidden entry about the Nightmare's location,' she thought.

Then, her perception extended towards the underground of Aegis' headquarters.

"Send someone to Craven Dog City," the Left Arm said to the Technician. "The local Governor tried to access the Nightmare's hidden entry with his account. I want to know what's happening there."

"Oh!" the Technician answered. "That's not good."

"I'll send an Enforcer immediately."
