King of Titans and Dragons-Chapter 75 - 74 Abyss Training Field
Chapter 75: Chapter 74 Abyss Training Field
Chapter 75 -74 Abyss Training Field
“Huh?” Upon hearing his Spirit effortlessly reject him, Muria was absolutely baffled, “You rejected me?”
“Yes, master.”
“Then why the hell do you still call me master?”
“I can call you by your name.”
“You…” Muria couldn’t get his words out; he was choked by such a response.
“Muria, a Spirit doesn’t obey its master in absolute terms. The point of a Spirit’s existence is to help guide their master to become stronger, not blindly obey every command issued by the master.
I have the right to refuse any commands that may impact your speed of improvement.”
“So you’re not calling me master anymore, just using my name directly.” Muria, somewhat disoriented, looked at his Spirit and muttered. Then he brought up his argument after hearing Cassio’s words, “I want to learn the best archery in the world. This also makes me stronger. Why do you refuse me?”
“According to my analysis and calculation, your desire to gaze at female elves of the Elf Royal Family is much more significant than your desire to learn archery.
Furthermore, you are now being trained in Titan Martial Arts by Heloise. You do not have extra time to learn Elven archery.”
“…” Muria looked at his Spirit with a blank face, then slowly turned around, his back facing her. He sank slowly into the pool, blowing bubbles while submerging his entire body in the vibrant life energy of the water.
…In the following days, Muria’s life had a routine. During the day, he was taught by Heloise all day (getting thrashed). After that, he was teleported by Cassio to the Recuperation Room to heal hidden injuries in his body.
At night, he spent the whole time in meditation. His life was utterly monotonous and dull. Now, Muria felt relaxed only when he was soaking in the Life Pool and devouring Elemental Crystals.
“Snap! Snap!” One day, after taking a bath, Muria, busy munching on Elemental Crystals to restore his expenditure, suddenly remembered something and looked at Cassio floating next to him.
“Something just occurred to me; it’s been a month already. Besides the daily Duel Request from Heloise, haven’t other Titans sent me any Duel Requests?”
Muria remembered strolling around the Clan Land with Heloise and encountering several Titans and Exotic Beasts due to Titan Yatrein. They all mentioned they wanted to fight him. How come there has been no movement for such a long time?
“I have informed all Titans and Exotic Beasts in the Clan Land who may challenge you that you are currently under special training with Heloise. Until it is finished, you will not accept any Duel Requests.”
“You never discussed this with me.” Muria stared at his Spirit.
“There was no need, Muria.” Cassio responded indifferently, “You only need to concentrate on receiving Heloise’s instructions. I’ll handle the rest, so don’t worry.”
“Do other Titan’s Spirits call them by their names like you do?” Muria eyed his Spirit; he recalled that Heloise’s Number Seven was very respectful to her, whereas his Spirit has quite the personality.
“No.”
“So why do you call me directly by my name? Can’t you be like the Spirits of other Titans?”
“No.”
“Why not?”
“Because you’re different from other Titans. As your Spirit, I’m naturally different as well.”
“…” Muria pouted and continued consuming the Elemental Crystals to replenish the energy he used up during Heloise’s training.
Truth be told, Muria quite liked eating Elemental Crystals; although they were tasteless, his body felt mighty at ease after eating them.
Back on Taiji Island, the Exotic Dishes made by the Cloud Giant Cook were indeed a treat for his taste buds, but they had no beneficial effects on his body.
…
When a new day dawned, Muria received another Duel Request from Heloise. He stepped onto the Teleportation Array to the Arena, but this time things were different.
“Muria, have you ever been to the Abyss Training Ground?” This time, Heloise didn’t attack immediately but asked Muria a question instead.
“The Abyss Training Ground?” Muria blinked slightly. He had heard this term several times before but didn’t give it much thought. Since it sounded related to demons, and Muria wasn’t particularly interested in demons, he shook his head honestly, “No.”
“Hm, today I’ll take you to the Abyss Training Ground to slay demons and gain actual combat experience. You’ll make faster progress through slaughter.”
“Kill demons?” Muria sneered slightly. “What’s the point of fighting against such weaklings? As for the Gold-level demons, I could kill a bunch of them with a single slap.”
“What would you do if you encountered a Demon Legion?”
“Demon Legion?” Muria was taken aback. In Elasia, just any old group of cats and kittens wouldn’t have the privilege to call themselves a legion. They must have at least five hundred members while maintaining a substantial level of power.
“Number 7, build a teleportation array to the Demon Training Ground.”
“One moment, please.”
During the brief moment of Muria’s distraction, a teleportation array was quickly constructed on the floor of the arena.
“Let’s go. After reaching the training ground, I hope you can still maintain your contempt for the demons.”
…
Surrounded by endless darkness and standing on a desolate and quiet land, this is the scene that meets Muria as he steps out of the teleportation array. It appears that he is on a huge island floating amidst the endless darkness.
However, there is no vegetation on the island, only an endless number of demons, their numbers never decreasing. On this desolate island, a gigantic gate constructed of countless skeletal bones stands tall, stretching hundreds of meters into the sky.
“The Abyssal Gate!” Muria looks pale as he gazes upon the sprawling island, at the gate emanating endless distorted evil power. Inside the gate, a spatial vortex is rotating ceaselessly, with demons of varied strength and forms pouring out of it incessantly.
The Abyssal Gate is a necessary construction for the Demon Lord leading the demon legion to invade the material world. Through this stable and massive building, the Demon Lord can continuously translocate the limitless demons residing in the Abyss into the material world.
“Heloise, is this your so-called Demon Training Ground?” Muria unleashes dozens of bolts of thunder and wind-blades, turning a bunch of Quasit Demons and Cowardly Demons who rush towards him foolishly into chunks of flesh and charcoal.
“This is the portal for demons to invade the material world!” Muria says with disbelief, while simultaneously casting spells to reduce a wave of foolishly attacking demons to ashes.
“And so what?” Heloise looks at Muria expressionlessly, “Within the Abyss, there is no Demon Lord daring enough to invade Elasia through this door!”
“But, the size of this door…” Muria looks at the distant skeletal gate burning with demonic flame with a twitching eyelid, “is already sufficient for Legendary Demons to pass through.”
“That is not for you to worry about. If a Legendary Demon comes, the Titans will naturally deal with it.” Heloise looks at the surrounding throng of pressing demons, “What you should be thinking about is, how to exterminate the demons in front of you.”
Hearing Heloise’s words, Muria stabilizes his necromancer, then squints at the surrounding demons, their numbers increasing despite his continuous clearing by magic.
“There’s a lot of low-level trash, but there are also quite a few Soul-level demons!” Muria looks somewhat solemnly at the several dozen Major Demons within the throng, beneath each of their feet is a Soul Intent Circle emitting a putrid and evil aura.
“I’ll deal with the Soul-level demons, you handle the rest.” Just when Muria is ready to spring into action, brimming with fighting spirit, Heloise stops him.
“What’s the significance of clearing out a crowd of fodder? Heloise, leave a few Soul-level demons for me!”
“We’ll talk about that after you clear out the rest.” Having said that, Heloise kicked the hard rocky ground, shattering a large part of it, and charged towards the Soul-level Major Demons.
“Geez!” Watching Heloise smash the upper half of a Major Demon’s body with one punch, Muria started chanting incantations with an unhappy expression, preparing to clear the field with a large-scale spell. He has been using third, fourth-level attack spells up till now, but he is now preparing to use a sixth-level spell.
“Chain Lightning!”
“Compression Magic Sphere!”
“Bigby’s Crushing Hand!”
… After unleashing a series of sixth-level spells, amidst the pitiful screams of the dying demons, Bronze-level and Silver-level demons died on the spot. Even the Gold-level demons were killed by Muria’s spells; four of them perished.
“Muria, close combat.” Watching Muria combat demons with magic, Heloise, who has just ripped apart a Soul-level demon, reminded him.
“Got it.” Muria responded, “I was just using magic to clear out these low-ranking demons.”
Having said that, Muria stepped forward and charged into the gathering of Gold-level demons. “Click!” “Roar!”… As Muria had said earlier, the Gold-level demons could not even withstand one of his attacks.
Those Gold-level demons, each of them capable of causing a catastrophe when thrown into human kingdoms, were helpless and weak against Muria like newborn lambs facing a fierce tiger.
Not to mention other aspects, just in terms of size, Muria now stands at 32 meters tall, while the strongest Gold-level demon, even if it’s an elite odd-bodied, would only be around 20 meters. With this gap, Muria can crush them with just his physical body.
Moreover, Muria, after training with Heloise, has gradually incorporated the Titan Martial Arts into his every movement, transforming it into an instinct.
“Boom!” “Slap!”… Muria, with a hand enveloped in the Golden Dragon Flame, shattered the skull of a Berserk Demon with one slap, the burning flame separating out some of the impurities. His slender dragon tail, like a long whip, severed a Demon Hunting Spider at its waist…
With Heloise intercepting all the Soul-level demons, Muria, like a tiger amongst a herd of sheep, slaughters demons at an astonishing rate. However, as time went, Muria made a grim discovery.
There were more and more demon corpses under his feet, but the demons surrounding him did not decrease at all. Instead, their numbers kept increasing. Even the low-ranking demons that he had earlier cleared out with magic once again encroached upon him.

“The Abyssal Gate.” Muria took a light breath, looking at the towering and magnificent skeletal gate in the distance. As long as this gate remained, exterminating all the demons here was a joke.
“Huff! Huff! Huff! …” As time gradually passed, Muria continued to slaughter demons, his panting growing heavier and heavier. He began to feel a hint of fatigue.
Muria did not know how long he had been battling, or how many demons he had killed. He was now standing on a small hill made up of demon corpses, and around him, demons continued to flood towards him…
