Chapter 1450: Chapter 10, Black Gloves_2

Does this even resemble a Dragon?

It’s clearly just a Giant Lizard!

Obviously stitched together from various Magical Beast bones; maybe there’s even an Earth Bear in there with you.

"I’ve sensed it, and there’s absolutely no Earth Bear aura, but there’s definitely the aura of your Giant Dragon.

Couldn’t it be the skeleton of some juvenile Dragon that got prematurely slaughtered and turned into a half-finished product?"

Belsden retorted unceremoniously.

The argument officially began, as one Dragon and one Bear engaged in a fierce debate while Hudson watched the fun from the sidelines.

In his view, a Giant Dragon is simply a magnified version of a Giant Lizard; perhaps their ancestors were close relatives, or maybe the lizard is a hybrid offspring of some lowly dragon and other Magical Beasts.

The mighty lizards on the Continent of Aslante have all awakened the latent Giant Dragon’s Bloodline within them, becoming typical representatives of Sub-dragon beasts.

"Maxim, inspect it closely. If there’s no issue, I’ll turn this heap of bones into a specimen and put it on display!"

Hudson solemnly reminded him.

Bone Dragon, he wouldn’t dare mess with.

Such actions challenge the dignity of the Dragon Race; if discovered by them, one usually meets a miserable end.

Messing with a Sub-dragon beast’s Giant Lizard, on the other hand, is indifferent. Proud Dragons never recognize these creatures as part of their kin.

While they chatted, Hudson had already extracted the Soul fire from the "pseudo Bone Dragon," to serve as fodder for his Compass at home.

Among many Extra-dimensional Creatures, these skeletons were the most worthless, even if boiled into soup, lacking any nutritional value.

At one point, Hudson contemplated creating the Ten Thousand Souls Banner that absorbs souls to grow; directly absorbing from the Undead army would surely accelerate growth!

Unfortunately, he knew how, but his hands wouldn’t cooperate. No matter how good the idea, he lacked the ability to realize it.

"Bang!"

After a loud crash, the Giant Lizard skeleton was smashed to pieces. Having done a good deed, Maxim self-righteously said, "Hudson, no need to look at me so gratefully.

Eliminating potential threats for my combat partners is something this Dragon should do!"

The place was littered with bone fragments; even the Lord of the Dawn might struggle to piece them back together, making specimen display impossible.

All things have two sides; this brutal act of scattering bones served as a deterrent to the other Demons in the dungeon.

The Dark World follows the Law of the Jungle; the decisive killing display by one person, one Dragon, and one Bear transformed them into the most fearsome presence in the eyes of many Extra-dimensional Creatures.

No massacre occurred, for the thrifty Hudson wouldn’t allow such casual squandering of wealth.

"Don’t repeat this next time!"

Hudson sternly warned Maxim and approached the most notable area where Fallen Angels were imprisoned.

"Human Marshal—Hudson-Koslow, Fallen Angels from a Different Dimension, please introduce yourselves!"

Hudson was accustomed to showing respect to Strongmen. Even though they were his prisoners, he maintained this good habit.

"Archangel Alix!"

The leading Fallen Angel responded loudly.

Even in the company of darkness, the innate pride had not vanished.

"Mr. Alix, why did you invade the Kingdom?"

Hudson tentatively asked.

He analyzed various possibilities concerning the identity of the mastermind but ultimately couldn’t conclude.

Rather than interrogate the deceitful Demons, he preferred to deal with the Fallen Angels, at least they suited human aesthetics better.

Combined with a touch of the sinister, it was more enchanting. Unfortunately, all these Fallen Angel captives were male.

"Invasion?

We were summoned by humans!

Originally, we were fine in the Angel World and received a summoning invitation, which brought us here according to the ancient pact. ƒrēenovelkiss.com

Once we arrived, we were polluted and directly became Fallen Angels!"

Alix showed genuine emotion as he spoke.

However, the determination in his brow showed he did not regret becoming fallen.

This choice to voice grievance aimed primarily at striving for a final chance of survival.

On the Continent of Aslante, humans worship the Lord of the Dawn; everyone reveres angels like deities, aiming to eradicate Fallen Angels swiftly.

No one willingly embraces death if survival is possible.

Having just become a Fallen Angel, Alix had many unfulfilled plans and wouldn’t easily choose death.

Instantly, Hudson thought of the Clergy; angel summoning was a rare skill not mastered by many.

However, it was uncertain whether the summoning technique’s unexpected loss was intentional by the Clergy.

After all, summoning angels was one of the Clergy’s trump cards. Theoretically, with enough preparation, they could call numerous experts from the Angel World for aid.

After this angelic descent, all turned into Fallen Angels, likely infuriating Angel World’s leaders.

If not for the world’s barrier, the Angel Race’s army might have already arrived to hold the Clergy accountable.

Feedback from across the continent suggested the Angel Race lost at least a thousand in this fiasco; over two hundred angels fell just in the Alpha Kingdom.

With such heavy losses, the Clergy might dread hearing angel news, let alone summoning.

Even with the "ancient pact," having suffered heavily, steadfastly adhering to it would make them not angels, but fools.
