"Right, so I get the concept of Fragment skills, but where do I actually go to find the fragments?" Alchemy questioned as she sorted through her settings.
Opening up her settings tag, she changed the name on her status panel to her ID rather than her display name. In other words, she returned it to Alchemy Ennis.
Seeing any name that wasn’t her own there just didn’t feel right. During this time, she also took the chance to view her EXP as a flat number instead of a percentage, but that wouldn’t take effect until she evolved.

While she waited for her handler to do... Whatever, Alchemy glanced at her Mental Destruction Timer and then back at the chat.

Alchemy was glad that only a few of her friends got dragged into this world. While her direct competitors seemed to be having a blast, she shared in Luke’s misery about being in danger from day 1.
Most if not all of the Divine Faction players had probably suffered the same.
It was also interesting that a member of Agartha was here. Aside from her Alliance, Asmodeus, Agartha was constantly ranked in the top three in the Alliance Wars Leaderboard.
Speaking of, she was surprised that none of the other Leaderboards were here, but just assumed they’d be added when relevant.

As she looked at the mission, Alchemy audibly sighed.
"Yeah... Of course it’s in the nearby Theocracy. I hate you." She groaned.
Annoying as it was, she couldn’t worry about it until her Mental Destruction timer was sorted out.

Seeing everyone had their main Factions aside from Luke caused Alchemy to laugh.
The simplest were the Dragonewts that Tharis had—humanoid descendants of the dragons. Very strong individual units with high R&D.
A decent majority of the players in the Ancients of Ascension’s top 100 played this race. Out of all of the factions, it was second only to one.
The Divine Beasts were a recreation of extinct mythical animals through Divine Energy.
True Dragons, Phoenixes, Griffins. They fell into the Divine Beast’s repertoire if they were animal-like and from mythology. They also had strong individual units, but like the Verminae, had terrible R&D issues, making them terrifying early game but hard to manage later on.
They also mimic animals so well that they’re the only Divine Faction that needs to manage waste like defecation...
His name was very ironic. Alchemy could only imagine how maddening that Faction was in reality.
As for Alice’s Card Kin. Simply put, they were fairy tales. Most notably from her namesake, Alice in Wonderland, but there were some others mixed in.
A very well rounded species with no glaring strengths or weaknesses when handled by an average user.
