Chapter 47: Unification Invitation, Ananta Kingdom’s Efficiency

"Well, since you are loyal, you may continue here." Vesh nodded at her and turned to the spy from Howling Star.

"Now, what to do with you?"

The man instantly knelt and slammed his head down enough to bleed.

"Please spare my life! I have a wife and kids at home that I haven’t met for five years!"

Vesh nodded. "Fine. You may leave. Go meet with your family."

"W-what?" The man looked up as blood trailed down, eyes wide in shock.

Vinz Aurora and others were also startled by such a swift decision.

"R-really?"

Vesh laughed. "I am not joking. You are not lying, and you want to meet with your family, so go."

"And give a message to Howling Star Kingdom." Vesh smiled behind the helmet. "Tell them what you saw here properly, and tell them that the Ananta Kingdom doesn’t want to shed pointless blood, so it’s better to follow the steps of the Aurora Kingdom."

"I will try my best." The spy nodded and stood up before bowing deeply. "Thank you for mercy."

"Go."

The man left.

"Kaeli."

The cat appeared from his shadows and landed on his shoulder.

"Use your Night Reign in a small area and play with that guy lying down like you play with a bad person until he dies. But don’t touch him directly or you’ll get electrocuted."

"Meow!" Kaeli’s eyes glinted, and she nodded before vanishing. 𝚏𝕣𝐞𝗲𝐰𝕖𝐛𝐧𝕠𝕧𝚎𝚕.𝐜𝚘𝗺

Half a second later, the branch leader of Tenebrous Light also vanished.

Hyper Electron Skin-tight Barrier. Its job was to adjust the electric flow towards the target’s brain and cause it to switch off. Kind of like forced sleep, but painful. Naturally, this could only work on people weaker than him.

Their consciousness would be able to observe outside while being inside their Life Nexus, but controlling mana or moving the body would become impossible.

"Now then, let’s begin the meeting." Vesh stood up and waved his hand as a hologram appeared that showed the map of the sideland that he had scanned and created himself after 4 hours of constant flight and scanning.

"Forgetting the major kingdoms for now, we are going to launch a unification invitation to the surrounding Kingdoms with a specific method."

"But if we invade, won’t we get disqualified from the event?" Duke Artilon asked.

"Indeed." Vesh nodded. "That’s why we are not going to invade, but go there to invite them."

"Now, let’s assign you your kingdoms."

After the meeting, everyone left to complete their tasks.

On the other hand, Vesh was finally free, so he decided to make a trip to the ocean and check out that Mugen Beast Kingdom himself.

As for Viana, she didn’t want to be an Executive Commander. So, Vesh appointed her as the Overseer of the Ananta Regions.

With her Prime Construct talent and A-rank combat suit, she had no threat, and she could fly around without pause or consumption of energy with that talent, which she used to roam around to oversee the territories and help people.

...

Kolvinar Kingdom.

It was a small kingdom with only one Stem-rank powerhouse, who was an old general. Even the current King was at Root-rank.

The population was less than one million.

Most of the small and medium-sized kingdoms only had one or two cities, as the overall population of the sideland was naturally not that great despite its size. After all, wars were constant, big or small.

Kayan entered the kingdom with his two subordinates.

Vesh had provided everyone with a suit with A-rank energy, so everyone essentially had Stem-rank magic potency while the battery in the suit ran.

"Stop. Who are you?"

The guards naturally stopped Kayan and the two six-foot, bulky, muscled hunks covered in exotic combat suits.

"We are from Ananta Kingdom," Kayan flatly said. "Here to deliver a message."

The four guards almost pissed their pants hearing the name Ananta Kingdom.

"W-What are you doing here?" The guard stammered.

"I just told you. We are here with a message."

"Ah, y-yes."

"We will guide you to the king. Please follow us."

The city was small and modest, but it was aesthetically pleasing.

People seemed to be in good shape and stomach.

Kayan observed everything carefully.

Executive Director’s orders were not only to send the same message to everyone, but by observing their place, their people, and everything, they must give one of the three types of messages.

Soon, they arrived in the small palace with statues of beasts and crystal decorations.

Shortly afterward, the King arrived. A man in his thirties, wearing a kingly red light armor made of B-rank material, passed down by his father, who had it made in the Aurora Kingdom five years ago.

"What brings you, people of Ananta Kingdom?" Kolvinar King asked politely, but composed.

But he was nervous as hell inside. The warfare event was upon them, and he had no means to defend himself or his people if the big players started marching to engulf them.

"I have observed this whole city. You have kept law and order quite well here, and people are peaceful, though anxious about the upcoming warfare event."

Kayan’s voice, which was unlike his young age, resonated through the hall as he spoke loudly.

"If you want to save your Kingdom in its entirety, become a part of Ananta Kingdom. This city will transform within hours such that no one will be able to breach and survive the barriers and weapons we place here."

"Should you agree, we can start the work right away."

King Kolvinar was startled.

He looked at two elders and two middle-aged people, one man and one woman.

One of them was Stem-rank, and the other three were Root-rank.

King Kolvinar clenched his fists tightly, his eyes turning determined as he nodded at Kayan.

"I have no power or means to survive the upcoming Warfare Event. Rather than let my people die a meaningless death, we would like to become a part of the Ananta Kingdom."

"Wise decision." Kayan grinned behind the mask and nodded. "Then, let’s start the assimilation right away. Follow me."

Shortly, everyone was in the sky above the city.

Kayan contacted the Rising Light City.

[Kayan: Kolvinar Kingdom wants to become part of the Ananta Kingdom. We need a Material Train and 1000 people with it.]

Kayan placed a small cube made of Nanites in the sky as it expanded into an electromagnet circular platform with five meters of rails extended to one side.

Back at the Rising Light City, the Ananta Governing Tower had ten extending platforms, large, long, and circular, surrounding it. Something that Vesh had created before he proposed the meeting.

One of those platforms pulsed with magic before a rail extended towards the direction of the Kolvinar Kingdom and connected with the rails that Kayan activated.

Then, ten people began building the train using their suits.

In ten minutes, a two-kilometre-long train was ready.

People began filling its compartments with Nanite Cubes and people, both.

...

Twenty minutes passed by.

"What is this?" Kolvinar King asked. "Are we waiting for something?"

"Yes." Kayan nodded.

Suddenly, everyone heard a loud horn.

HONK! HONK!

"W-What is that?" Kolvinar’s eyes widened in shock. "Train in the sky..."

"Holwing Star Kingdom has a train system connecting its five cities, but this..." the Stem-rank General was dumbfounded.

Soon, the train arrived and stopped.

People in metallic suits began jumping off the train with boxes of Nanites in their hands.

"Let’s go earn some Ananta Points, boys and girls!"

"Aye!"

Kayan looked at the dazed Kolvinar King. "Tell your people not to worry. They will not be disturbed. We have protocols and steps on how we transform a city."

The builders first went and surrounded the city by building the tough magic walls with barrier expansion from them, and watch towers were the first step.

...

Naturally, not all kingdoms received this treatment.

Vinz Aurora arrived at the Yoffan Kingdom, where the scenery was bad, quite similar to the Crosshawk Kingdom before it was abolished.
