King's Rule: Creating the Strongest Kingdom With My Broken Talent-Chapter 50: Ananta War March Factory, Tournament
Deep in the ocean, Vesh was sitting inside a cavern in a cross-legged position, with an Ascension Storm of Heaven and Earth above the pond that absorbed the pure S-rank energy and turned it into abundant S-rank refined magic energy.
This energy was already pure, as in, it was mana with substance, capable of birthing natural resources, so his Ascension Storm of Heaven and Earth didn’t have to do much work to produce a lot of S-rank Refined Magic Energy from it.
Vesh absorbed S-rank R.M.E, and from his body, hundreds of lines extended out of the cavern and into the ocean.
There, these lines released nanites constantly, which joined into massive structures, constructing according to Vesh’s design.
It had been four hours since he was here, and this underwater factory was about to be completed.
The factory was frigging 1.8 kilometers large, and inside was complex, multi-layered machinery being designed by Vesh with the push from his King’s Rule.
...
On the other hand, the Ananta Kingdom had incorporated four kingdoms into its territory so far.
The Executive Commanders were working efficiently under the methods created by Vesh.
Yoffan Kingdom’s royal family was judged by Abyss Eyes that recorded their memories.
Not just them, but all people were judged before they got the Ananta ID on their wrists.
Many people were using the Ananta Training Center.
In the D-rank zone, thousands of people were spread across the biome as they meditated and absorbed the D-rank R.M.E, which quickly raised their Seed Force.
Hundreds were also in the C-rank zone.
A tournament was going to be held tomorrow, and the winner was going to get the Alchemy Talent Stone.
The people who wanted to become alchemists were working hard in the training center to become strong.
Even though Vesh had made it clear that whoever joined the tournament had to be a member of the Alchemy Department, the registrations still reached thousands.
Because normal people were getting food and the means to get stronger, they wanted to do more in their lives than just exist and survive like before.
After all, everyone could see no end of opportunities in the Ananta Kingdom.
The Entertainment Idea Kitchen was the biggest success in a sense.
A few ideas were approved as various buildings of entertainment were opened, and those people elevated their status, acquired better residency, and improved their overall income of resources and Ananta Points.
Those buildings were still small and budding, but they were expected to rise.
When people could think about more than just having daily food and surviving, they could use their energy for innovation, and that was exactly the phenomenon occurring in the territory of the Ananta Kingdom.
Aurora City was still under construction, but things were getting infinitely better.
Naturally, many people were also executed since Vesh had spread Abyss Eyes to record everyone’s memories to weed out criminals and heinous individuals.
The ultimate pair of incentives to be decent was in full force.
Harsh punishment for evil deeds, and handsome rewards for good deeds.
...
A total of eight hours had passed since Vesh entered that cavern deep in the ocean.
And he was finally done.
Opening his eyes, he rushed out of the cavern.
His eyes trembled with anticipation and excitement.
The entire factory was one big machine, inside and out.
The neon lights all over it pulsed like a living beast.
There was no need for human interference in this factory.
’Ananta AI, take over the factory.’
Vesh’s eyes glinted as the AI core within his life nexus, running fully through his brain, pulsed.
A blue electric line flowed out of Vesh’s eyes and entered the factory.
[Ananta AI: Hello, Master.]
Vesh grinned. "Show me the factory catalogue."
A hologram popped up before Vesh using his own mana, but with data derived from the factory.
Well, he was the one who designed everything, so he already knew what he ordered.
[Ananta War March Factory]
<Assault Units>
1. S-rank Multi-Weapon Assassin.
2. S-rank Dual-Wielding Samurai.
3. S-rank Flashblade Duelist.
<Heavy Units>
4. S-rank Heavy Knight.
5. S-rank Bulwark Roller.
6. S-rank Aegisbark Warrior.
<Aerial Units>
7. S-rank Twin-Bladed Winguard Skirmisher.
8. S-rank Hyper-Cannon Wyvern.
9. S-rank Velocity Vanguard.
<Support Units>
10. S-rank Fortress Turtle.
11. S-rank Shadow Priest.
12. S-rank Delta Nurse.
Vesh grinned.
And issued a command.
"Start the production. 10,000 light and heavy troops. 5,000 aerial and support troops."
[Ananta AI: Affirmative.]
’That should take about two and a half days, given the flow of S-rank R.M.E from the cavern,’ Vesh thought as he looked at the energy lines.
The Ascension Storm of Heaven and Earth was running at full force with S-rank energy, producing tons of S-rank R.M.E.
But his troops were of S-rank quality.
All of them would be made of S-rank zanites, a material superior to nanites that was only possible after he got access to this S-rank energy source.
And this was no small source.
It would easily last ten years even if he constantly absorbed it at his current pace.
HUMMMMMM!
The factory roared into motion as the ocean trembled.
But what could it do against this S-rank monstrosity?
Anything Vesh created had the highest and toughest foundation because he weaved materials right down to their atoms.
He knew the science of all fields at a basic, foundational level, but after everything he had learned and observed, mainly due to King’s Rule, he had far more knowledge in science as a whole compared to scientists on Earth.
Creating materials using atomic construction was something that humans did back on Earth, like creating graphene, advanced alloys, and nanomaterials. People on Earth did it by controlling chemical reactions and guiding how atoms naturally bond.
But he could literally control atoms of elements with his mind. The eight foundational elements were the basis of everything.
Basically, by pairing both SSS-rank talents, King’s Rule and Wheel of Elements, Vesh could achieve limitless innovation of science manifested through magic.
That was why he could create such tough materials, various structures, and powerful combat suits that not only provided defense but were also fundamentally bonded with the wearer’s body at the atomic level to provide them a boost in physical processes.
Instead of filling their veins with more powerful blood, he was basically manipulating the wearer’s body structure and enhancing it. This was only possible with A-rank R.M.E, the substance of magic.
If he simply used normal mana, it wouldn’t work. It wouldn’t change or influence their living foundation.
And now, Vesh was producing troops, mostly humanoid, some hybrids, and some beastly, made entirely of S-rank material, and with an energy nexus of S-rank energy.
’The only downside is that these troops will deactivate once their batteries hit zero. Each one is given five batteries, so that should be enough, right?’
Vesh imagined.
Thousands of his S-rank troops, which basically meant thousands of Bloom-rank powerhouses, were marching through the land and sky.
Their collective aura overwhelming everything in their path.
Who would even dare to fight this army in this sideland?
’Yeah, I’m winning this warfare event.’ Vesh looked at the troops churning out of the factory.
Letting the factory run on its own, protected and hidden by a sophisticated layer of barriers, Vesh took his leave and headed back to Rising Light City.
...
The next morning, the city was more lively. Holograms popped up everywhere, and many people were watching and eating.
The workload in Rising Light City had already reduced for the Ananta Court, but now other departments were busy due to increasing development in the quality of life and work.
But today, it was a holiday.
A total of 18,490 participants were gathered in the Playground of Glory.
The Playground of Glory stood as a colossal dome, spanning across the ground as it shimmered with crystal and flowing light.
Within the dome, over a hundred smaller arenas floated in layered tiers, each one separated by translucent barriers of energy.
Below on the ground were big and small sparring rings.
At the very center stood the main colosseum, a massive circular arena that dwarfed all others, its structure radiating authority and grandeur. It was reserved for big tournaments.
All people, not only of Rising Light City but all cities under Ananta’s territories, were watching as it was broadcast everywhere. Since towers, walls, and basic infrastructure were the priority, hologram towers were built in recently acquired territories overnight.
Given how fast and efficient the construction system using nanites and builder suits was, it was no surprise.
"Let me change the main venue a bit." Vesh floated in his signature combat suit and waved his hand.
The colosseum split into streams of nanites and rearranged into ten-layered arenas.
The biggest battlering was at the bottom, and they became smaller and smaller while ascending.
The participants looked with wide eyes and slack jaws.
People of Rising Light City were less shocked, but those who were watching Vesh treat everything like a toy for the first time were utterly dumbfounded.
"Now then, all participants, get on the first battleground."
All around the battleground, wide and exotic chairs appeared in pyramid formations.
Executive Commanders and their agents took their seats.
Vesh also took his seat on the golden-black throne.
"The first round will be simple," Vesh announced and looked at Scarlet. "Executive Commander Dan, could you create a miniature sun and start cooking our participants slowly?"
Yeolodan laughed. "With pleasure."
The six-armed giant in a demonic combat suit flew up, already scaring many participants.
Floating at the center, fifty meters above the participants, Yeolodan extended his hand and created a sleek miniature orange orb with shifting hues of orange and red.
"Participants!" Vesh’s voice rang. "Enact your skin-tight barriers! The heat will increase and eat away at your energy slowly. If your skin-tight barrier breaks, you are out."
"The round will end when only a thousand participants remain with their skin-tight barriers intact."
’Yeolodan, increase the heat at unnatural paces.’
’Got it.’
